For efficient and high-fidelity local facial attribute editing, most existing editing methods either require additional finetuning for different editing effects or tend to affect beyond the editing regions. Alternatively, inpainting methods can edit the target image region while preserving external areas. However, current inpainting methods still suffer from the generation misalignment with facial attributes description and the loss of facial skin details. To address these challenges, (i) a novel data utilization strategy is introduced to construct datasets consisting of attribute-text-image triples from a data-driven perspective, (ii) a Causality-Aware Condition Adapter is proposed to enhance the contextual causality modeling of specific details, which encodes the skin details from the original image while preventing conflicts between these cues and textual conditions. In addition, a Skin Transition Frequency Guidance technique is introduced for the local modeling of contextual causality via sampling guidance driven by low-frequency alignment. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method in boosting both fidelity and editability for localized attribute editing. The rapid development of photo-realistic face generation methods has raised significant concerns in society and academia, highlighting the urgent need for robust and generalizable face forgery detection (FFD) techniques. Although existing approaches mainly capture face forgery patterns using image modality, other modalities like fine-grained noises and texts are not fully explored, which limits the generalization capability of the model. In addition, most FFD methods tend to identify facial images generated by GAN, but struggle to detect unseen diffusion-synthesized ones. To address the limitations, we aim to leverage the cutting-edge foundation model, contrastive language-image pre-training (CLIP), to achieve generalizable diffusion face forgery detection (DFFD). In this paper, we propose a novel multi-modal fine-grained CLIP (MFCLIP) model, which mines comprehensive and fine-grained forgery traces across image-noise modalities via language-guided face forgery representation learning, to facilitate the advancement of DFFD. Specifically, we devise a fine-grained language encoder (FLE) that extracts fine global language features from hierarchical text prompts. We design a multi-modal vision encoder (MVE) to capture global image forgery embeddings as well as fine-grained noise forgery patterns extracted from the richest patch, and integrate them to mine general visual forgery traces. Moreover, we build an innovative plug-and-play sample pair attention (SPA) method to emphasize relevant negative pairs and suppress irrelevant ones, allowing cross-modality sample pairs to conduct more flexible alignment. Extensive experiments and visualizations show that our model outperforms the state of the arts on different settings like cross-generator, cross-forgery, and cross-dataset evaluations. $k$k-TEVS: A $ k$k-Times E-Voting Scheme on Blockchain With Supervision

The e-vote is regarded as a way to express the opinion that the voters ask for. Actually, the e-vote could be applied wildly like questionnaire, survey and feedback. Moreover, the coexistences of efficiency and security as well as transparency and privacy could be considered as building blocks in the e-vote system. The blockchain could provide a public access board to reduce the storage costs for the field consisted of the vote group manager (GM) with its vote assistants (VA). Particularly the $k$ -times anonymous authentication ( $k$ -TAA) could also be a practical approach to preserve voters’ privacy and reduce the computation costs during the vote process. However, the e-vote scheme with pure $k$ -TAA strategy could damage either the supervision of voting or the efficiency and consistency of authentication process. What’s more, the impacts of dishonest voters couldn’t be stopped until the vote end. To tackle these problems, we apply the accumulator technology to add or revoke the voters at any time and extend the framework of $k$ -TAA with the update process for the e-vote on blockchain for supervision ( $ k$ -TEVS). In our scheme, the voter updates his membership witness and proves the fact that he is still a valid member with respective VA under the latest accumulator value. What’s more, this witness update operation is not contained in the authentication process, which means that the authentication process is still constant and efficient. Moreover, our add or delete update process with signature of knowledge needs only one pairing operation. For the security, we prove that the relaxed anonymity still holds in the $ k$ -TEVS framework. Finally, We implement $ k$ -TEVS scheme, the Emura’s work [1] and the Huang’s work [2] for comparison. Then we make time cost and communication cost experiments, which present the feasibility and practicality of this scheme.

Recently, large-scale protein-protein interactions were recovered using the similar two-hybrid system for the model systems. This information allows us to investigate the protein interaction network from a systematic point of view. However, experimentally determined interactions are susceptible to errors. A previous assessment estimated that only ~10% of the interactions can be supported by more than one independent experiment, and about half of the interactions may be false positives. These false positives might unnecessarily link unrelated proteins, resulting in huge apparent interaction clusters, which complicate elucidation for the biological importance of these interactions. Address this problem, we present an approach to integrate, assess and characterize all available protein-protein interactions in model organisms yeast and fly. We first integrate all available protein-protein interaction databases of yeast and fly, and merge all the datasets. We then use machine learning techniques to score the reliability for each interaction, and to rigorously validate the scoring scheme of yeast protein-protein interactions from different aspects. Our results show that this scoring scheme provides a good basis for selecting reliable protein-protein interaction dataset

Heterogeneous multi-core processors have strong potential for performance improvement, energy efficiency and area efficiency, compared to the homogeneous multi-core processors. The present methods of execution migration for heterogeneous multi-core processor suffer in efficiency, cost, compatibility, or programmability. In this paper, we propose a HW/SW code sign migration method based on binary-instrumentation. Our method takes full advantage of the shared-ISA. It enhances the performance of heterogeneous chip multiprocessor with low HW/SW cost. And it's not required to modify source codes or compile system. The experiment results show that the efficiency of our method is 3.29 times of kernel simulation. © 2013 IEEE.

code_saturne is an open-source general large-scale computational fluid dynamics software independently developed by Electricite de France since 1997. Due to its high computing performance, code_saturne has been widely used in the nuclear industry, heavy fuel and biomass combustion, particle tracking and other computational fluid dynamics fields. In this work, we implemented code_saturne on the new generation Sunway supercomputer (SW26010pro) at the first time. By applying the data value-taking technology of double cache, combined with Sunway shared memory technology, we have adapted the data structure and Modular programming of code_saturne conducively to the new generation Sunway supercomputer (SW26010pro) and accelerated the software hotspots the software hotspots by 1–2 times. After optimizing and porting, this software has successfully served in the numerical simulation of the lateral flow of fuel assemblies in the nuclear industry.

In mathematics, various representations of real numbers have been investigated and all these representations are proved to be mathematically equivalent. Furthermore, it is known that all effective versions of these representations lead to the same class of "computable real numbers". However, when subrecursive (such as primitive recursive) is taken into account, these representations can lead to different notions of "computable real numbers". This paper will look into the polynomial-time version of the problem for computable real numbers under different representations. We will summarize the known results to exhibit the comprehensive hierarchy they form. Our goal is to clarify systematically how the polynomial-time computability depends on the representations of the real numbers. Copyright © 2011 Binary Information Press.

Variable petri nets for mobility

Mobile computing systems, service-based systems and some other systems with mobile interacting components have recently received much attention. However, because of their characteristics such as mobility and disconnection, it is difficult to model and analyze them by using a structure-fixed model. This work proposes a new Petri net model called Variable Petri Net (VPN) for modeling and analyzing these systems. The definition, firing rule, and related analysis technology of VPN are introduced in detail. In a VPN, the possible interaction interfaces are abstracted as a new kind of places called virtual places, and the occurrences of (dis)connections are described by new functions, which makes it appropriate to describe the component collaboration in systems and realize the scalability and pluggability of systems. Moreover, to overcome the shortcoming that markings cannot reflect link capability of a system, VPNs add a constraint function along with a marking to represent a complete system configuration. Group-wise inhibition based feature regularization for robust classification

The convolutional neural network (CNN) is vulnerable to degraded images with even very small variations (e.g. corrupted and adversarial samples). One of the possible reasons is that CNN pays more attention to the most discriminative regions, but ignores the auxiliary features when learning, leading to the lack of feature diversity for final judgment. In our method, we propose to dynamically suppress significant activation values of CNN by group-wise inhibition, but not fixedly or randomly handle them when training. The feature maps with different activation distribution are then processed separately to take the feature independence into account. CNN is finally guided to learn richer discriminative features hierarchically for robust classification according to the proposed regularization. Our method is comprehensively evaluated under multiple settings, including classification against corruptions, adversarial attacks and low data regime. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve significant improvements in terms of both robustness and generalization performances, when compared with the state-of-the-art methods. It is challenging to schedule time-constrained cluster tools subject to activity time variation. With the help of their Petri net model, a real-time control policy is used to offset the activity time variation. Based on it, the schedulability conditions and scheduling algorithms are presented for single-arm cluster tools. The schedulability conditions can be analytically checked. Algorithms are developed based on analytical expressions such that it is also computationally efficient. The schedule obtained by the scheduling algorithms together with a real-time control policy forms the real-time schedule. It is optimal in terms of cycle time.
