Scientific workflow system (SWFs) is a tool which is used in scientific research. SWFs is a useful tool that brings remote data access and management under distributed infrastructures to the desktop. Because the Scientific workflow is highly data-centric naturally, it makes the scientific data management, analysis, simulation on distributed infrastructures challenging. When scientist use a SWFs to computation or to analysis large data sets, it is important that the SWFs can monitor the execution state on the distributed infrastructures. We first develop a prototype of light-weight SWFs, and implement a scientific workflow engine (SWFe) which implements the basic function of the SWFs. We design the monitor state mechanism as part of the SWFe. Through the state mechanism, scientist can easily know if the remote resources or data can be used. They can also validate the computation result by means of the state mechanism.

Under Intranet or Internet environment, it becomes more and more important how to make application systems communicate and share data seamlessly, thus eliminates the huge information isolated island, realizes the information sharing and exchange. This paper discusses application of EAI in railway integrated information platform systems, and builds EAI information resources integration framework based on Java technology and J2EE application server, which provides a new ideas for information resources integration of integrated information platform systems. This paper not only makes efforts to introduce the key components of the project, construction process of the integrated adapter, but also describe the specific implementation of the project in detail. Finally, we presents the continuity of the enterprise application integration, and points out the goal on the next integration stage.

In this paper, a component library model based on the four-layer architecture is presented. The four-layer architecture includes framework layer, component layer, leaf-class layer and leaf-function (leaf-method) layer. The component library is hierarchically constructed. The component features in different layers and the relationship among components are studied and defined. This is helpful to organize and manage the component library more efficiently. And this is helpful for users to retrieve, understand and reuse components, in order to realize the software reuse successfully.
