Genetic Clustering-Based Equivalent Model of Wind Farm with Doubly Fed Induction Generator

With increasing the number of wind power generators, the consumption time of electromagnetic simulation of the wind farm explodes. To reduce the simulation time while meeting the accuracy requirement, a genetic clustering-based equivalent model is proposed for the wind farm with numerous doubly fed induction generators. In the proposed model, active power together with the reactive power and the wind speed are selected to form the set of clustering indicators. A normalization technique is utilized to cope with the multiple orders of magnitude in these factors. An exponential fitness value is formulated as a function of the sorting number of the primary fitness value, and the fitness-based selection probability is constructed to overcome the property of premature and slow convergence of the genetic clustering algorithm. The sum of squares due to error is used to determine the optimal clustering number. In addition, a decoupled parameter equivalence method is adopted to obtain the equivalent parameters of the collection network. Simulation results and comparisons with various methods under different voltage scenarios show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model. © Shanghai Jiao Tong University 2023.

Multi-view learning methods leverage multiple data sources to enhance perception by mining correlations across views, typically relying on predefined categories. However, deploying these models in real-world scenarios presents two primary openness challenges. 1) Lack of Interpretability: The integration mechanisms of multi-view data in existing black-box models remain poorly explained;2) Insufficient Generalization: Most models are not adapted to multi-view scenarios involving unknown categories. To address these challenges, we propose OpenViewer, an openness-aware multi-view learning framework with theoretical support. This framework begins with a Pseudo-Unknown Sample Generation Mechanism to efficiently simulate open multi-view environments and previously adapt to potential unknown samples. Subsequently, we introduce an Expression-Enhanced Deep Unfolding network to intuitively promote interpretability by systematically constructing functional prior-mapping modules and effectively providing a more transparent integration mechanism for multi-view data. Additionally, we establish a Perception-Augmented Open-Set Training Regime to significantly enhance generalization by precisely boosting confidences for known categories and carefully suppressing inappropriate confidences for unknown ones. Experimental results demonstrate that OpenViewer effectively addresses openness challenges while ensuring recognition performance for both known and unknown samples. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. This article proposes a new predefined-time (PDT) stability theorem, which offers more evident advantages compared to previous predefined-time stability. Firstly, based on the limitations of existing PDT stability, this theorem relaxed the limitations of sufficient conditions, which fill the gap in the research on PDT stability. Secondly, the PDT synchronization of multi-modal memristive neural networks (MM-MNN) is analyzed by the usability of the new judgment theorem. A matching PDT controller is designed and sufficient synchronization control conditions is obtained by utilizing generalized Lyapunov functional method, set-valued mapping, inequality analysis technique and differential inclusion theory. Meanwhile, the topological characteristics of multi-modal neuron and its impact on network synchronization behavior are presented. Finally, we provide some confirmatory numerical simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

Federated graph learning has been widely used in distributed graph machine learning tasks. The data distribution of existing graph-based federated Spatio-temporal prediction methods is mainly segmented by graph topology. However, in the real-world Spatio-temporal traffic speed prediction task, a location will have data from different devices belonging to different companies. A node may have multi-party information in the real-world distributed traffic speed prediction scenario. The difference in multi-party information leads to the information not being fully utilized. Moreover, the direct transmission of node embedding in the federated learning process may also risk privacy leaks. Using homomorphic encryption and other encryption methods will bring a high computational overhead. Therefore we propose a new distributed privacy-preserving traffic speed prediction algorithm, which uses secure node attribute aggregation strategy(SNAAS) to apply to the multi-party collaborative traffic speed prediction scenario when the graph topology structure is public. At the same time, secret sharing technology is used in SNAAS to protect the attribute matrix and reduce the overhead of secret computing. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Community detection is a trendy area in research on complex network analysis and has a wide range of real-world applications, like advertising. As people become increasingly concerned about privacy, protecting participants’ privacy in distributed community detection has become a new challenge. When applied to not identically and independently distributed (Non-IID) data, most federated graph algorithms suffer from the weight divergence problem caused by diversified training of local and global models, resulting in accuracy degradation. Furthermore, the privacy protection approaches based on anonymization, such as differential privacy (DP), and cryptography, such as homomorphic encryption (HE), incur accuracy loss and high time consumption, respectively. In this paper, we propose a globally consistent vertical federated graph autoencoder (GCVFGAE) algorithm, which builds a globally consistent model among the coordinator and all participants to solve the Non-IID graph data problem. As well, an attribute blinding strategy based on security aggregation is developed to protect the network privacy of each participant without losing accuracy. Both real-world and artificial networks’ experiments show that our algorithm reaches higher accuracy than the existing vertical federated graph neural networks (GNNs) and the simple distributed graph autoencoder without federated learning and detects communities identical to those found by the standard graph autoencoder (GAE). © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Drug-target binding affinity prediction is critical to drug design. Some existing computational methods rely on single-scale data and cannot fully integrate the rich information of multi-scale data, such as molecular structures and network information. In this paper, we propose the MBC-DTA model, which effectively integrates multi-scale data, and models the complex interactions between atoms and amino acids. We introduce GCN and GAT, which effectively extract the feature representation of molecular structure scale and network scale. Afterwards, the features obtained from the molecular structure scale are fed into a bilinear attention network, which captures the intricate interaction information between drug-target pairs. Additionally, a cross-scale graph contrastive learning strategy is applied, optimizing the feature representations across different scales. Extensive experimental results on two benchmark datasets demonstrate that the MBC-DTA model outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods.

Underwater images are often affected by problems such as light attenuation, color distortion, noise and scattering, resulting in image defects. A novel image inpainting method is proposed to intelligently predict and fill damaged areas for complete and continuous visualization of the image. First, in order to effectively solve the problem of color distortion caused by light refraction in underwater environments, the improved gated attention mechanism is used. This mechanism improves the local details by learning and weighting the important features of the image. Second, gated convolution automatically determines the degree of restoration for each pixel based on local features of the original image. It eliminates distractions such as low contrast and scattering, retaining more original detailed information. By doing so, image inpainting techniques improve the quality and visualization of underwater images. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of the new generation of information technologies, including cloud computing, 5G, and the Internet of Things, data outsourcing storage in the cloud has brought great convenience to data storage or access anytime and anywhere. Due to the separation of ownership and management of outsourced stored data, it faces data security risks, including data loss and personal privacy disclosure. The third-party audit of data operational behavior by logs is often employed to strengthen the security of outsourced data. However, some privacy breach incidents in recent years show that third parties who may leak information about data and users' identities are not always trustworthy. To achieve data security and privacy protection, an operation behavior auditing scheme for outsourced data is proposed with the blockchain rather than third parties. The data operation behavior audit is carried out from three dimensions: integrity of the operation behavior log, the credibility of the operation behavior information, and compliance of operation behavior. The security analysis and experiment results indicate that this scheme is secure and feasible. © 2023 IEEE.

Given that airborne electronic equipment may have a variety of wiring methods and may encounter a set of systems using multiple power supplies, it is necessary to take some measures on the circuit to ensure the normal work of the power supply and the post-circuit. A portable aviation detection equipment power supply system is designed in this paper. The system supports simultaneous access of two power supplies to identify and judge the input power supply and switch between the battery and the external power supply, effectively avoiding the security risks caused by battery backflow current. The battery power is monitored in real-time through the battery power detection circuit and will be reminded when the battery power is too low. Since the circuit uses a MOS tube to control the switching of the power supply, there is almost no voltage drop loss. In addition, the EMC protection circuit is set up at the power supply side to further improve the safety and reliability of the system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, an interactive algorithm (AREI) for AR experiment is designed. The main innovations of this method are: (1) combining gesture, hand position and sound as multimodal input, the robustness of virtual experiment operation is improved;(2) It solves the coordinate mapping relationship between real environment and virtual space, and improves the accuracy of users using real hands to operate virtual experiments. First, we train the gesture recognition model through Alexnet, and build the speech database through keyword extraction, Through AREI algorithm, the mapping relationship between hand position and virtual scene is determined, and with voice and gestures, users can complete the operation of AR experiment. After testing, the success rate of the experiment through this algorithm is 97.6%, which proves the effectiveness of this algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.
