With the continuous development of intelligent transportation technologies such as autonomous driving and navigation, accurate perception of road markings becomes crucial. However, due to limitations in sensor perspectives and obstacles blocking the view, the scanned point cloud of road markings is often incomplete, potentially leading to erroneous decisions in intelligent transportation systems. Therefore, it becomes imperative to recover complete road markings from these incomplete point clouds. This paper proposes a text-guided road marking completion method, which integrates text information with point cloud data using attention mechanisms. By leveraging text information to guide the network in completing road marking point clouds, the proposed method aims to enhance the perception accuracy and completeness of road markings. Experimental validation on road marking datasets demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Image co-segmentation and co-localization exploit inter-image information to identify and extract foreground objects with a batch mode. However, they remain challenging when confronted with large object variations or complex backgrounds. This paper proposes a multi-view graph embedding (MV-Gem) learning scheme which integrates diversity, robustness and discernibility of object features to alleviate this phenomenon. To encourage the diversity, the deep co-information containing both low-layer general representations and high-layer semantic information is generated to form a multi-view feature pool for comprehensive co-object description. To enhance the robustness, a multi-view adaptive weighted learning is formulated to fuse the deep co-information for feature complementation. To ensure the discernibility, the graph embedding and sparse constraint are embedded into the fusion formulation for feature selection. The former aims to inherit important structures from multiple views, and the latter further selects important features to restrain irrelevant backgrounds. With these techniques, MV-Gem gradually recovers all co-objects through optimization iterations. Extensive experimental results on real-world datasets demonstrate that MV-Gem is capable of locating and delineating co-objects in an image group. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

For voice activity detection (VAD), recent works focus on learning the attention distribution on contextual information of speech to reduce the impact of irrelevant noise. However, contextual frames selected with specific steps may not be relevant, and these attention mechanisms can not fully discover the structure and characteristics of speech. In this paper, we explore a self-attention-inspired locality-sensitive hashing algorithm (SALSH) for dynamic and efficient contextual frame selection to enrich the frame-level features into a 2D partial spectrogram. Then, we propose a residual frequency-temporal attention model (FTAM) for VAD, consisting of an interval branch, an analogous hourglass structure with channel attention, and an attention learning mechanism for speech based on frequency-temporal attention. On the LibriSpeech and TIMIT datasets, the proposed method outperforms the others in terms of area under the curve (AUC), even under extremely low signal-to-noise ratio of -15dB. © 2024 International Speech Communication Association. 3D medical image segmentation is an essential task in the medical image field, which aims to segment organs or tumours into different labels. A number of issues exist with the current 3D medical image segmentation task: existing models cannot simultaneously obtain the space correlation and depth correlation of 3D slices;previous models suffer from local detail loss of positional embedding in 3D images;previous approaches often have blurring of boundaries in segmenting 3D images. To solve these shortcomings, we propose a 3D medical image segmentation model named TPM-SAM. In our model, we design a twinchannel image encoder to simultaneously capture the space correlation and depth correlation of 3D slices through a multi-head attention mechanism and improved adapters. Furthermore, we design a prompt encoding generator, which divides the volumetric image into small blocks and better captures the local detail information. In addition, we introduce a multi-layer aggregation decoder by employing U-Net with multi-level skip connection to solve the blurring of boundaries in processing 3D images. Finally, we experimented and evaluated our model on KiTS21 and LiTS17 datasets to compare with other baseline models. © 2024 IEEE.

To address the challenges associated with insufficiently extracting and utilizing features at different levels, overlooking the connection between label meanings and text, and facing problems of over-compression or information loss when extracting global information using recurrent neural networks in the field of multi-label text categorization, this paper introduces an innovative model known as MFFLEN (MultiFeature Fusion and Label Embedding Neural network). First, a back-translated enhanced label set is constructed by back-translated splicing enhancement of the original label set. This set, together with the text, is then input into the embedding layer, which consists of the pre-trained model of bert-baseChinese, thus establishing the initial connection between the text and the labels within the same vector space. Then, to comprehensively extract multi-level semantic features, the model uses a convolutional layer to extract local features and an embedding layer to extract sentence-level features. A bidirectional attention embedded GRU (BAE-GRU) layer is used to extract hybrid finegrained features, which are then fed into the attention layer to further extract hybrid labeled features based on labeling information. Finally, these three different types of features are fused and multi-label text classification results are obtained using a classifier. The experiments proved that the MFFLEN model achieved 73.82% and 88.44% macro-F1 and 88.00% and 88.86% micro-F1 on the two datasets CAIL 2018 Small and CAIL 2018 Split, respectively, which is better than other baseline models. © 2024 IEEE.

The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding assigns standardized codes to diseases. Automating this process enhances the efficiency and accuracy of clinical records processing. However, current methods struggle with noisy and lengthy clinical texts, making it difficult to ensure the reliability of feature extraction. Furthermore, they typically make separate binary predictions for each code, overlooking the dependencies between them. To address these issues, we propose a novel model called Hierarchical Feature Optimization and Rescorer (HiRes). We employ a cascaded convolution architecture to mitigate noise and enhance feature representation. Additionally, a masked autoencoder-based rescorer is introduced to capture ICD code interdependencies, refining initial predictions for improved accuracy. The model also considers the inconsistencies in code representations. Experiments on the MIMIC datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our model. © 2025 IEEE.

Federated learning is an emerging distributed machine learning technology that allows participants to jointly train machine learning models locally without the need for large-scale data transmission and sharing, thereby greatly improving data security. However, some Byzantine clients may intentionally tamper with local model parameter updates with the intention of manipulating the global model's update direction, which can lead to a decline in the overall performance of federated learning. Besides, existing Byzantine client detection research is conducted in plain text, which will lead to the leakage of private information. To solve the above issues, we propose a Byzantine client detection method for federated learning based on encrypted repeated median linear regression. Specifically, it combines the repeated median linear regression algorithm with homomorphic encryption, which can detect and eliminate clients with Byzantine behavior in the ciphertext state, ensuring the security and reliability of the parameters in the entire federated learning process. Additionally, we also designed an adaptive gradient clipping method based on historical iteration to clip the gradient to a reasonable range, which can not only reduce communication and computing overhead, but also improve the convergence speed and stability of the model. Experiments show that the proposed method can maintain high accuracy under the influence of malicious behavior of Byzantine clients. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Graph neural networks have shown excellent performance in many fields owing to their powerful processing ability of graph data. In recent years, federated graph neural network has become a reasonable solution due to the enactment of privacy-related regulations. However, frequent communication between the coordinator and participants in federated graph neural network results in longer model training time and consumes many communication resources. To address this challenge, in this paper, we propose a novel semi-asynchronous federated graph learning communication protocol that simultaneously alleviates the negative impact of stragglers(slow participants) and accelerate the training process in the unsupervised federated graph neural network scenario. First, the weighted enforced synchronization strategy is intended to preserve the information carried by stragglers while preventing their stale models from harming the global model update. Second, the adaptive local update strategy is developed to make the local model of the participant with poor computing performance as close as possible to the global model. Experiments combine federated learning with graph contrastive learning. Community detection is widely used in network analysis, which seeks to divide network nodes into distinct communities based on the topology structure and attribute information of the network. Due to its interpretability, nonnegative matrix factorization becomes an essential method for community detection. However, it decomposes the adjacency matrix and attribute matrix separately, which do not tightly incorporate topology and attributes. And in the problem of division inconsistency based on topology and attributes caused by the mismatch between the topology similarity and attribute similarity of paired nodes, it ignores the difference in the matching degree of each attribute and each node. In this paper, we propose a nonnegative matrix factorization algorithm for community detection (MTACD) based on the matching degree between topology and attribute. First, we employ an attribute embedding mechanism to enhance the node-attribute relationship. Second, we design an attribute matching degree and a node topology-and-attribute matching degree in order to resolve the mismatch between topology and attribute similarity. The existing fuzz testing methods for industrial control protocols suffer from insufficient coverage, false positives, and an inability to handle protocol semantics. This paper proposes a reinforcement learning-based seed scheduling coverage-guided fuzz testing method. Building upon coverage-guided fuzz testing techniques, we integrate reinforcement learning with seed scheduling to optimize the seed selection strategy, thereby enhancing the efficiency of protocol vulnerability detection. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this approach. Through reinforcement learning guidance, seed scheduling is optimized, thereby strengthening the performance of fuzz testing in exploring vulnerabilities in industrial control protocols. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
