Collaborative perception has attracted growing interest from academia and industry due to its potential to enhance perception accuracy, safety, and robustness in autonomous driving through multi-agent information fusion. With the advancement of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, numerous collaborative perception datasets have emerged, varying in cooperation paradigms, sensor configurations, data sources, and application scenarios. However, the absence of systematic summarization and comparative analysis hinders effective resource utilization and standardization of model evaluation. As the first comprehensive review focused on collaborative perception datasets, this work reviews and compares existing resources from a multi-dimensional perspective. We categorize datasets based on cooperation paradigms, examine their data sources and scenarios, and analyze sensor modalities and supported tasks. A detailed comparative analysis is conducted across multiple dimensions. We also outline key challenges and future directions, including dataset scalability, diversity, domain adaptation, standardization, privacy, and the integration of large language models. NON-RADIATING ELASTIC SOURCES IN INHOMOGENEOUS ELASTIC MEDIA AT CORNERS WITH APPLICATIONS

This paper is concerned with non-radiating elastic sources in inhomogeneous elastic media. We demonstrate that the value of non-radiating elastic sources must vanish at convex corners of their support, provided the sources exhibit Hölder continuous regularity near the corner. Additionally, their gradient must satisfy intricate algebraic relationships with the angles defining the underlying corners, assuming the sources have C1,α regularity with α ∈ (0, 1) in the neighborhood of the corners. To perform microlocal analysis around the corners, we employ the so-called complex geometrical optics (CGO) solutions as test functions within a partial differential system. These characterizations of non-radiating elastic sources in inhomogeneous elastic media at corners enable us to establish the unique identifiability results for determining the position and shape of radiating elastic sources by a single far-field measurement, both locally and globally. The uniqueness result by a single far-field measurement is a challenging problem with a colorful history in inverse scattering. Indeed, when the support of a radiating elastic source is a convex polygon, we can simultaneously determine the shape of the elastic source and its values at the corners, provided the source is Hölder continuous at the corner. Multistatic Cooperative Sensing Assisted Secure Transmission via IRS

Benefiting from the performance enhancement brought by multistatic cooperative sensing, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) can capture more environmental information to address the security risk of information leakage caused by the openness of wireless channels. In this paper, we study the multistatic cooperative sensing assisted secure transmission via intelligent reflecting surface (IRS). In particular, we propose a multistatic cooperative sensing scheme to obtain the angle of arrival and the localization of the eavesdropping target to achieve the beam alignment accurately. The goal is to maximize the sum secrecy rate by jointly optimizing the association variables of base station (BS) and users, the BS beamforming and the IRS phase shifts, subject to the requirement of target sensing. Due to the coupling of variables and non-convex objective function, the formulated problem is intractable to solve directly. As such, we decompose it into three subproblems and develop an alternative optimization algorithm to solve them iteratively. The association variables are first optimized by successive convex approximation. Then, the BS transmit beamforming can be derived via the semidefinite relaxation. Finally, we adopt an alternating direction method of multiplier for the IRS phase-shift design. Simulation results indicate the feasibility of the proposed scheme, and the multistatic cooperative sensing via IRS can enhance the sensing performance and guarantee the secure transmission. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Security Performance Analysis for MIMO Systems: From Artificial Noise's Power and Dimension Perspective

This paper analyzes the influence of power and dimension of artificial noise (AN) on security performance of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with multiple randomly located eavesdroppers. We derive the closed-form expressions of the secrecy outage probability (SOP) and the optimal secrecy capacity by utilizing the irrelevance among transmission channels, and the orthogonality between AN and the basis vectors of the legitimate channel matrix's null space. We use the Poisson point process to determine the number and location of eavesdroppers, then analyze the security performance of the communication system under the 3D channel condition of probability-based line-of-sight (LoS) or non-line-of-sight (NLoS) channel. The simulation results show the following conclusions. When the AN dimension reaches 1/4 highest dimension (i.e., one quarter of the number of transmitting antennae less than one) and the power splitter factor (PSF) falls in the open interval (0.6, 0.9), we can achieve a trade-off between secrecy capacity and design complexity. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

How Deep is Love in LLMs’ Hearts? Exploring Semantic Size in Human-like Cognition

How human cognitive abilities are formed has long captivated researchers. However, a significant challenge lies in developing meaningful methods to measure these complex processes. With the advent of large language models (LLMs), which now rival human capabilities in various domains, we are presented with a unique testbed to investigate human cognition through a new lens. Among the many facets of cognition, one particularly crucial aspect is the concept of semantic size—the perceived magnitude of both abstract and concrete words or concepts. This study seeks to investigate whether LLMs exhibit similar tendencies in understanding semantic size, thereby providing insights into the underlying mechanisms of human cognition. We begin by exploring metaphorical reasoning, comparing how LLMs and humans associate abstract words with concrete objects of varying sizes. Next, we examine LLMs’ internal representations to evaluate their alignment with human cognitive processes. Our findings reveal that multi-modal training is crucial for LLMs to achieve more human-like understanding, suggesting that real-world, multi-modal experiences are similarly vital for human cognitive development. Lastly, we examine whether LLMs are influenced by attention-grabbing headlines with larger semantic sizes in a real-world web shopping scenario. The results show that multi-modal LLMs are more emotionally engaged in decision-making, but this also introduces potential biases, such as the risk of manipulation through clickbait headlines. Ultimately, this study offers a novel perspective on how LLMs interpret and internalize language, from the smallest concrete objects to the most profound abstract concepts like ‘love’. The insights gained not only improve our understanding of LLMs but also provide new avenues for exploring the cognitive abilities that define human intelligence. DBSSL: A Scheme to Detect Backdoor Attacks in Self-Supervised Learning Models

Recently, self-supervised learning has garnered significant attention for its ability to extract high-quality features from unlabeled data. However, existing research indicates that backdoor attacks can pose significant threats to self-supervised learning. Additionally, due to the substantial training overhead, traditional backdoor detection methods in supervised learning, such as meta-learning, are not well-suited for self-supervised learning. Current backdoor detection methods for self-supervised learning can only defend against backdoor attacks triggered by patch. To address this challenge, we proposes DBSSL, a scheme that can efficiently detect backdoor attacks in self-supervised learning models. In DBSSL, we connect backdoor attacks with adversarial attacks and use adversarial perturbations for detection. Specifically, we first conduct targeted adversarial attacks on the samples, classifying them into different classes. Then, we employ the Z-Score method to analyze these adversarial perturbations. If outliers are present, we can infer that the self-supervised learning model has been backdoored. Unlike previous works, our scheme is better suited for downstream users with constrained computation resources and exhibits excellent detection capabilities for backdoor attacks caused by patch -type or global triggers. Abundant theoretical analysis has demonstrated the feasibility of our scheme. Moreover, extensive experiments show that our method performs well in detecting prevalent backdoor attacks in self-supervised learning, achieving detection accuracy exceeding 95%. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

WiViPose: A Video-aided Wi-Fi Framework for Environment-Independent 3D Human Pose Estimation

The inherent complexity of Wi-Fi signals makes video-aided Wi-Fi 3D pose estimation difficult. The challenges include the limited generalizability of the task across diverse environments, its significant signal heterogeneity, and its inadequate ability to analyze local and geometric information. To overcome these challenges, we introduce WiViPose, a video-aided Wi-Fi framework for 3D pose estimation, which attains enhanced cross-environment generalization through cross-layer optimization. Bilinear temporal-spectral fusion (BTSF) is initially used to fuse the time-domain and frequency-domain features derived from Wi-Fi. Video features are derived from a multiresolution convolutional pose machine and enhanced by local self-attention. Cross-modality data fusion is facilitated through an attention-based transformer, with the process further refined under a supervisory mechanism. WiViPose demonstrates effectiveness by achieving an average percentage of correct keypoints (PCK)@50 of 91.01% across three typical indoor environments. © 2025 IEEE.

UNeLF: Unconstrained Neural Light Field for Self-Supervised Angular Super-Resolution

Compared to supervised learning methods, self-supervised learning methods address the domain gap problem between light field (LF) datasets collected under varying acquisition conditions, which typically leads to decreased performance when differences exist in the distribution between the training and test sets. However, current self-supervised light field angular super-resolution (LFASR) techniques primarily focus on exploiting discrete spatial-angular features while neglecting continuous LF information. In contrast to previous work, we propose a self-supervised unconstrained neural light field (UNeLF) to continuously represent LF for LFASR. Specifically, any LF can be described as the camera pose for each sub-aperture image (SAI) and the two-plane that captures these SAIs. To describe the former, we introduce a SAIs-dependent pose optimization method to solve the issue that arises from the narrow baseline of most LF data, which hinders robust camera pose estimation. This mechanism reduces the number of trainable camera parameters from a quadratic to a constant scale, thereby alleviating the complexity of joint optimization. For the latter, we propose a novel adaptive two-plane parameterization strategy to determine the two-plane that captures these SAIs, facilitating refocusing. Finally, we jointly optimize the camera parameters, near-far planes and neural light field, efficiently mapping each adaptive two-plane parameterized ray to its correspondence color in a continuous manner. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that UNeLF achieves faster training and inference with fewer computational resources while exhibiting superior performance on both synthetic and real-world datasets. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

Representation Auto-fused NMF based Hierarchical Clustering

Nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) as a powerful representation learning technique has been extensively applied in clustering tasks across diverse domains, leading to the proliferation of various NMF-based clustering methods. However, most of these methods suffer from the suboptimal performance arising from the disjointed process of representation learning and clustering, and the necessity to manually predetermine the optimal number of clusters which is a critical factor affecting the quality of clustering results. To fill this gap and inspired by convex clustering, we propose a simple yet effective NMF-based clustering method named Representation Auto-fused NMF based Hierarchical Clustering (RAFNMF-HC) by incorporating the l2 norm penalty on the differences between pairs of representations into the NMF framework to foster the automatic fusion of representations during representation learning. As the fusion continuously proceeds, similar representations gradually coalesce into small clusters, which subsequently merge into larger ones until a largest cluster encompassing all representations is formed, enabling a joint representation learning and clustering paradigm. Moreover, a cluster hierarchy as a byproduct adaptively emerges without requiring a predefined number of clusters, thus providing us with interpretability of cluster structure of data to some degree. Additionally, RAFNMF-HC only incorporates a single hyperparameter, significantly simplifying the adjustment process and boosting its practical efficiency. Our proposed RAFNMF-HC method also boasts straightforward scalability to diverse NMF variants, enhancing its versatility. Extensive experiments on various real-world datasets demonstrate the superiority of RAFNMF-HC. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

Mamba Adapter: Efficient Multi-Modal Fusion for Vision-Language Tracking

Utilizing the high-level semantic information of language to compensate for the limitations of vision information is a highly regarded approach in single-object tracking. However, most existing vision-language (VL) trackers employ full-parameter fine-tuning, which can easily lead to catastrophic forgetting. Therefore, they fail to fully exploit the prior knowledge of pre-trained models from upstream tasks, resulting in unsatisfactory tracking performance. To alleviate the above problem, we propose a simple yet effective Vision-Language Tracking pipeline based on Mamba Adapter, named MAVLT, which adopts the idea of parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT) to realize the interaction between vision-language modalities. This novel approach offers the following advantages: (1)The knowledge of the upstream pre-trained model is efficiently inherited by freezing its parameters. This ensures that the VL tracking framework only learns the modules for vision and language interaction, with a focus on the fusion between modalities. (2)The modal interaction between language and vision encoders is flexibly bridged in each encoder layer via proposed mamba adapter, enabling efficient interaction of visual and language information at multiple levels. Extensive experiments on five popular vision-language tracking benchmarks validate the effectiveness of the proposed MAVLT. Particularly, the MAVLT achieves 73.4% AUC score on the LaSOT benchmarks with only 0.18%(0.32M) of the total parameters updates.
