Accurate segmentation of CT images of liver tumors is an important adjunct for the liver diagnosis and treatment of liver *** recent years,due to the great improvement of hard device,many deep learning based methods have been proposed for automatic liver *** them,there are the plain neural network headed by FCN and the residual neural network headed by Resnet,both of which have many *** have achieved certain achievements in medical image *** this paper,we firstly select five representative structures,i.e.,FCN,U-Net,Segnet,Resnet and Densenet,to investigate their performance on liver *** original Resnet and Densenet could not perform image segmentation directly,we make some adjustments for them to perform live *** experimental results show that Densenet performs the best on liver segmentation,followed by *** perform much better than Segnet,U-Net,and *** Segnet,U-Net,and FCN,U-Net performs the best,followed by *** performs the worst.

Outsourcing data to cloud servers is a popular service for data owners, however, how to check the integrity and freshness of the outsourced data is very challenge. Recently, Jin et al. proposed a cloud auditing protocol with full integrity and freshness support for cloud data, unfortunately in this article, we show their proposal is not secure. Concretely, the cloud servers can forge the authentication tag and thus has the ability to forge proof of data possession, which obviously invalidates their cloud auditing protocol. We also give a new cloud auditing protocol and analysis its security and performance. The results show our protocol is more efficient and secure. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Recognizing emotions in dialogues is vital for effective human-computer interaction, yet remains a challenging task in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Previous studies in Emotion Recognition in Conversation (ERC) have primarily focused on contextual features, while overlooking the importance of emotional features in emotion recognition. To address this gap, we focus on the role of emotional features in ERC and propose a novel method, Emotional knowledge Self-Distillation (EmoKSD 1 ), to enhance the model’s emotional sensitivity. In EmoKSD, utterances are enriched with implicit ⟨mask⟩ tokens to represent conveyed emotions, allowing the distillation of emotional knowledge from explicit emotional tokens to implicit ⟨mask⟩ tokens, thereby enhancing the model’s ability to perceive subtle emotions within the dialogue. Through thorough evaluations on two public ERC datasets (i.e., IEMOCAP and MELD) using proposed coarse-grained utterance distillation and fine-grained token distillation techniques, EmoKSD demonstrates superior performance compared to existing methods, highlighting the significance of emotional features in ERC.

Most of existing neural methods for multi-objective combinatorial optimization (MOCO) problems solely rely on decomposition, which often leads to repetitive solutions for the respective subproblems, thus a limited Pareto set. Beyond decomposition, we propose a novel neural heuristic with diversity enhancement (NHDE) to produce more Pareto solutions from two perspectives. On the one hand, to hinder duplicated solutions for different subproblems, we propose an indicator-enhanced deep reinforcement learning method to guide the model, and design a heterogeneous graph attention mechanism to capture the relations between the instance graph and the Pareto front graph. On the other hand, to excavate more solutions in the neighborhood of each subproblem, we present a multiple Pareto optima strategy to sample and preserve desirable solutions. Experimental results on classic MOCO problems show that our NHDE is able to generate a Pareto front with higher diversity, thereby achieving superior overall performance. Moreover, our NHDE is generic and can be applied to different neural methods for MOCO.

This article proposes a method to find the closest critical initial running state of power grid, aiming at the possible chain reaction failure caused by branch fault in power system. First of all, assuming the initial failure of power grid, considering the specific performance of relay protection, analyze the critical state of the branch in cascading trip in detail, the electrical distance between the current running state and the interlocking fault expressed in the form of nodal injection power is given. Secondly, on the basic of the relationship between the nodal injections power and the system safety, a safety level model that the system will not trigger cascading failures is established. Finally, the improved simplified mean particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the model, and an example is analyzed on IEEE-14 node system. Space-air-ground integrated networks (SAGINs) are emerging as a pivotal element in the evolution of future wireless networks. Despite their potential, the joint design of communication and computation within SAGINs remains a formidable challenge. In this paper, the problem of energy efficiency in SAGIN-enabled probabilistic semantic communication (PSCom) system is investigated. In the considered model, a satellite needs to transmit data to multiple ground terminals (GTs) via an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) acting as a relay. During transmission, the satellite and the UAV can use PSCom technique to compress the transmitting data, while the GTs can automatically recover the missing information. The PSCom is underpinned by shared probabilistic graphs that serve as a common knowledge base among the transceivers, allowing for resource-saving communication at the expense of increased computation resource. Through analysis, the computation overhead function in PSCom is a piecewise function with respect to the semantic compression ratio. Therefore, it is important to make a balance between communication and computation to achieve optimal energy efficiency. The joint communication and computation problem is formulated as an optimization problem aiming to minimize the total communication and computation energy consumption of the network under latency, power, computation capacity, bandwidth, semantic compression ratio, and UAV location constraints. To solve this non-convex non-smooth problem, we propose an iterative algorithm where the closed-form solutions for computation capacity allocation and UAV altitude are obtained at each iteration. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

The use of preoperative CT and intraoperative fluoroscopic-guided surgical robotic assistance for spinal disease treatment has gained significant attention among surgeons. However, the intraoperative robotic systems lack guidance based on three-dimensional anatomical structures, rendering them unusable when there is a mismatch between preoperative CT and intraoperative fluoroscopy. Additionally, the continuous X-ray imaging during fluoroscopy exposes the patient to significant radiation risks. This paper proposes a 2D/3D registration method to reconstruct 3D patient spine geometry from frontal-view X-ray images. Our aim is to combine this method with intraoperative robotic assistance for spine procedures, enabling three-dimensional spatial navigation for the robotic system and reducing patient radiation exposure. By utilizing 45 frontal-view X-ray images of patients with scoliosis, we trained a 3D trunk anatomy SSM specific to scoliosis. For the registration, a 2D registration-back projection strategy was employed, which first generates the simulated X-ray projection image of the 3D SSM, then non-rigidly registers the projection image with the patient X-ray image, and finally back-project the 2D registration into 3D to guide the shape deformation of the 3D SSM. This approach was evaluated using X-ray images of 10 scoliosis patients. The results demonstrate the ability to reconstruct the anatomical structure and curvature of the spine in X-ray images. The registration accuracy of the SSM was assessed by visualizing the alignment between the registered model and X-ray images, as well as calculating the average distance between the vertebral disc center points of the model and expert-annotated anatomical landmarks in the patient’s X-rays. The average distance between the registered model’s vertebral disc centers and the patient’s X-ray anatomical positions was 11.38 mm. Finding a subset of users to statistically represent the original social network in terms of attributes has received a lot of attention recently. The existing literature had proved that the problem is NP-Hard and proposed some sampling models, but representative degrees aren't systematically studied. Taking node degree and edge weight into account, we present a topic sampling model for the whole social network in this paper. Firstly, by statistically calculating node degrees for one real dataset, we find that one node is more likely to be a representative user if its degree is high. We then give some definitions about representative degrees. Based on statistical stratified sample, we finally give a sampling model of topic representative users who are from most or all attribute groups in the network. Experimental results show that our algorithm significantly outperforms other six baseline methods and is also effective in terms of time complexity. © 2020 IEEE.

Body temperature detection in pigs is vital for effective pig breeding, particularly in large-scale farming where traditional infrared thermal imaging methods typically measure only one pig at a time, leading to inefficient monitoring. This study introduces a novel approach for detecting the body temperature of group-raised pigs by leveraging an image super-resolution (SR) algorithm alongside an instantaneous posture recognition technique. The Porcine-ESRGAN was employed to preprocess thermal infrared images, addressing issues related to low resolution and improving the characterization of target areas. Additionally, an improved You Only Look Once v7 (YOLOv7) based on pig posture classification was proposed and named ITG-YOLOv7. ITG-YOLOv7 was developed to identify the instantaneous posture of pigs and measure their ear root or eye temperature. This approach effectively resolves the challenge of obtaining the temperatures of pigs in a lying position. The ITG-YOLOv7 model integrates multi-scale features through the Scale Sequence Feature Fusion (SSFF) module and optimizes parameters with the Generalized Efficient Layer Aggregation Network (GELAN). The incorporation of Shape-IoU as the anchor box loss function enhances bounding box regression accuracy, thus improving detection precision. Performance assessment of Porcine-ESRGAN using thermal infrared images before and after preprocessing. The processed images significantly improve the detection precision (P), recall (R), and mean average precision (mAP) for lying pigs by 3.1%, 11.5%, and 6.9%, indicating that the method is effective in enhancing the temperature detection accuracy for lying pigs. The proposed ITG-YOLOv7 model achieves an accuracy of 93.2%, a R of 95.4%, and an mAP of 97.5% with a model size of 61.9 MB when used in conjunction with the Porcine-ESRGAN model. Intelligent supply line surveillance is critical for modern smart grids. Smart sensors and gateway nodes are strategically deployed along supply lines to achieve intelligent surveillance. They collect data continuously and transmit it to the control centre in real-time. It enables real-time monitoring, fault detection, and efficient energy management across distribution networks. This advanced surveillance system ensures continuous monitoring of supply lines, detecting anomalies, and optimizing operations to maintain the stability and reliability of the smart grid. However, the reliance of all participating nodes on public communication channels to transmit supply line surveillance data exposes these systems to critical cyber attacks. These cyber attacks include impersonation, physical tampering, ephemeral secret leakage, and desynchronization attacks. To address these issues, existing key-exchange protocols often fail to ensure robust security while imposing high computation and communication overheads, limiting their practicality for resource-constrained environments. Therefore, we propose a secure and efficient key exchange and tamper-resistant authentication protocol using Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs). The PUF mechanism provides robust resistance against physical tampering and cloning attacks, ensuring enhanced physical security for supply line devices. We validate the security robustness of the devised protocol using the Random or Real (ROR) model. Furthermore, informal security analysis demonstrates the protocol's robustness in rigorously resisting various attacks, including physical tampering, impersonation, ephemeral secret leakage and desynchronization. Moreover, we determine the performance evaluation that reveals the protocol's superior efficiency compared to competing protocols, achieving significant reductions of 28.64% in computation overhead and 9.96% in communication overhead. © 2014 IEEE.
