This paper presents a Scientific Literature Management Platform (SLMP, demo link1 ) based on large language models (LLMs). The platform consists of four modules: literature management, literature extraction, literature retrieval, and question answering. The core techniques used to support the four modules across the platform include a fine-tuned model PaperExtractGPT and a continual pre-training model ChatPaperGPT based on ChatGLM2 using the data from scientific research literature, responsible for information extraction and communication, respectively. Due to their powerful capabilities in natural language understanding and generation, LLMs can understand complex scientific concepts based on the provided contexts, and thus generate high-quality texts and conduct in-depth information retrieval and question answering. Our platform can help researchers manage and utilize literature more effectively and efficiently for finding relevant literature, obtaining required information, and generating new knowledge. © 2024 IEEE.

It is extremely important to explore the heavy metal content and spatial distribution in different cultivated soils. In our study, cokriging (COK) method was used to investigate the relationship between heavy metals and land use types. A total of six heavy metals including Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, B, S were selected to forecast the heavy metals in cultivated soils. Five types of cultivated land were considered in the study area, including vegetable land, irrigated land, irrigated paddy field, dry land, orchard. Test of normality was firstly carried out to assure that higher prediction accuracy can be obtained, and then correlation analysis and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were performed to find out the most sensitive heavy metals for spatial interpolation. The analysis results showed that Zn, Cu and Fe were the primary heavy metals in soil of the study area. It was obvious that the effect of Mn and Fe were much greater caused by land use types, while they were smaller for B and S. Three errors of mean standard (MS), root mean square error (RMSE), and root mean square standardized error (RMSSE) were derived to assess the prediction accuracy. In comparison with ordinary kriging (OK), the MS of COK approached to 1, the RMSE was much smaller and the RMSSE also approached to 1, which showed that COK can make better predictions than OK. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

We investigate asymmetric spin wave scattering behaviors caused by vortex chirality in a cross-shaped ferromagnetic system by using the micromagnetic *** the system,four scattering behaviors are found:(i)asymmetric skew scattering,depending on the polarity of vortex core,(ii)back scattering(reflection),depending on the vortex core stiffness,(iii)side deflection scattering,depending on structural symmetry of the vortex circulation,and(iv)geometrical scattering,depending on waveguide *** first and second scattering behaviors are attributed to nonlinear topological magnon spin Hall effect related to magnon spin-transfer torque effect,which has value for magnonic exploration and application.

Location based services (LBSs) are promising value-added services in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), which can yield substantial economic profits. To extensively deploy LBSs in VANETs, it is essential to establish an efficient privacy-preserving key management scheme. In this paper, we point out a privacy weakness in a recent key management scheme based on group signatures for LBSs in VANETs;then we propose a secure and privacy-enhanced version. In our scheme, roadside units (RSUs) act as group managers. Vehicles are distributed into groups maintained by these RSUs. If a vehicle's member key is compromised, one just needs to update the group public key corresponding to its group manager. With this method, the member revocation and privacy leakage problems in schemes based on group signatures are solved effectively. As a result, a vehicle may enjoy LBSs efficiently without surrendering its privacy. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.

Smart contracts are programs that run on a blockchain, where Ethereum is one of the most popular ones supporting them. Due to the fact that they are immutable, it is essential to design smart contracts bug-free before they are deployed. However, various defects have been found in the deployed smart contracts, causing huge economic losses and lowing people's trust. Writing secure smart contracts is far from trivial, where developers tend to engage in reliable resources or social coding platforms to reuse code. This leads to a large number of similar contracts with potential security risks. Therefore, detecting similarity of smart contracts helps to avoid vulnerabilities, identify threats, and improve the security of Ethereum. In this paper, we design a learning-effective and cost-efficient model, called SmartSD, for Ethereum smart contract similarity detection. Different from the current research efforts, SmartSD is performed on a bytecode level and leverages deep neural networks to learn the latent representations from the opcode sequences for smart contract bytecodes, where the representation learning and similarity measurement are supervised via siamese neural networks. The experimental evaluations demonstrate that SmartSD outperforms EClone's 93.27% accuracy, achieving 98.37% high detection accuracy and 0.9850 F1-score, which is computationally tractable and effectively mitigates the interference caused by compilers. © 2022 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School. Real-life events are emerging and evolving in social and news *** methods have succeeded in capturing designed features of monolingual events,but lack of interpretability and multi-lingual *** this end,we propose a multi-lingual event mining model,namely MLEM,to automatically detect events and generate evolution graph in multilingual hybrid-length text streams including English,Chinese,French,German,Russian and ***,we merge the same entities and similar phrases and present multiple similarity measures by incremental word2vec *** propose an 8-tuple to describe event for correlation analysis and evolution graph *** evaluate the MLEM model using a massive human-generated dataset containing real world *** results show that our new model MLEM outperforms the baseline method both in efficiency and effectiveness.

With the development and popularization of Internet technology, network security has become the focus of attention. Vulnerabilities and back doors are regarded as two of the main reasons of network security problems. Dynamic heterogeneous redundant (DHR) architecture is a typical framework of cyberspace mimic defense. It can make use of untrusted hardware and software components to construct a high reliable and high security information system. In this article, a mathematical model is set up for the DHR architecture, and the system security is characterized by vulnerability consistency rate and success rate of system attack. The antiattack ability of the DHR system is analyzed using the mathematical model. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

In the image restoration task, how to make full use of spatial and channel feature information to improve the reconstruction quality of the model without significantly increasing the computational complexity is an important research issue. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a CS module (Channel Compression and Split-Attention) specifically for optimizing image denoising tasks. The module first compresses the features through a preliminary convolution operation, then introduces the split attention convolution mechanism to split the features by channel and dynamically weight them, thereby enhancing the model's adaptive attention to different feature channels and improving feature expression capabilities. Through experiments on multiple image denoising datasets, the results show that the CS module significantly improves the image reconstruction quality, especially in terms of peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). At the same time, the introduction of the CS module does not lead to a significant increase in computational complexity, maintaining a high computational efficiency, which verifies the practicality and superiority of the module in image denoising tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system can automatically measure the distance between obstacles and provide early warning, which can effectively provide safety guarantee for vehicle travel and reduce the probability of traffic accidents. The vision-based approaches are always popular because vision sensors have the characteristics of low cost and rich image information. In this paper, a vision-based forward collision warning method is proposed. The method contains three main stages: (1) detect obstacle based on multi-feature fusion using convolution neural networks (CNN), (2) estimate the relative distance, relative velocity from vehicles and collision time, (3) design obstacles hazard level discrimination strategy for different road scenarios. The algorithm is tested on our own dataset and the experiment results showed that the method has good feasibility and robustness. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Pedestrians are one of the most important elements in traffic scenes. In autopilot system, pedestrians need to be accurately detected. We found the latest research that 3D light detection and ranging (LIDAR) sensors can provide more accurate pedestrian location information. In this paper, the AdaBoost algorithm is used to improve the accuracy of the support vector machine (SVM) and high-accuracy pedestrian detection based on real-time 3D point cloud data. The first step is to process 3D points to 2D grid, followed by using k-means clustering algorithm to extract candidate points of the pedestrian. Next, nine features are chosen to train the SVM, the AdaBoost iterative process is used to reduce the further error rate to meet the classification requirements. This method has achieved significant progress in our experiment, the average classification accuracy has been improved to 92.4% per scan. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
