This paper presents the design, modeling, and experimental validation of CapsuleBot, a novel hybrid aerial-ground bi-copter robot designed for long-endurance and low-noise operations. CapsuleBot combines the maneuverability of a bi-copter in the air with the low power consumption and low noise of a two-wheel self-balancing robot on the ground. To achieve this, we design an innovative mechanical structure named the actuated-wheel-rotor, which uses a servo motor and a brushless motor to function as both a tilting rotor in the air and an actuated wheel on the ground. CapsuleBot is equipped with two actuated-wheel-rotors, enabling it to achieve hybrid aerial-ground propulsion using only four motors, with no additional motors required compared to a bi-copter. Additionally, we develop comprehensive dynamics and control systems for both air and wheel mode, based on the bi-copter model and the two-wheel self-balancing robot model. A prototype of CapsuleBot is constructed, and its performance in terms of low power consumption and low noise is validated through experiments. LadRa-Net: Locally-aware dynamic re-read attention net for sentence semantic matching

Sentence semantic matching requires an agent to determine the semantic relation between two sentences, which is widely used in various natural language tasks, such as Natural Language Inference (NLI), Paraphrase Identification (PI), and so on. Much recent progress has been made in this area, especially attention-based methods and pre-trained language model based methods. However, most of these methods focus on all the important parts in sentences in a static way and only emphasize how important the words are to the query, inhibiting the ability of attention mechanism. In order to overcome this problem and boost the performance of attention mechanism, we propose a novel dynamic re-read attention, which can pay close attention to one small region of sentences at each step and re-read the important parts for better sentence representations. Based on this attention variation, we develop a novel Dynamic Re-read Network (DRr-Net) for sentence semantic matching. Moreover, selecting one small region in dynamic re-read attention seems insufficient for sentence semantics, and employing pre-trained language models as input encoders will introduce incomplete and fragile representation problems. To this end, we extend DRr-Net to Locally-Aware Dynamic Re-read Attention Net (LadRa-Net), in which local structure of sentences is employed to alleviate the shortcoming of Byte-Pair Encoding (BPE) in pre-trained language models and boost the performance of dynamic reread attention. Extensive experiments on two popular sentence semantic matching tasks demonstrate that DRr-Net can significantly improve the performance of sentence semantic matching. Meanwhile, LadRa-Net is able to achieve better performance by considering the local structures of sentences. In addition, it is exceedingly interesting that some discoveries in our experiments are consistent with some findings of psychological research. © 2021, CC BY.

Arbitrary-oriented object detection (AOOD) has been widely applied to locate and classify objects with diverse orientations in remote sensing images. However, the inconsistent features for the localization and classification tasks in AOOD models may lead to ambiguity and low-quality object predictions, which constrains the detection performance. In this paper, an AOOD method called task-wise sampling convolutions (TS-Conv) is proposed. TS-Conv adaptively samples task-wise features from respective sensitive regions and maps these features together in alignment to guide a dynamic label assignment for better predictions. Specifically, sampling positions of the localization convolution in TS-Conv is supervised by the oriented bounding box (OBB) prediction associated with spatial coordinates. While sampling positions and convolutional kernel of the classification convolution are designed to be adaptively adjusted according to different orientations for improving the orientation robustness of features. Furthermore, a dynamic task-aware label assignment (DTLA) strategy is developed to select optimal candidate positions and assign labels dynamicly according to ranked task-aware scores obtained from TS-Conv. Extensive experiments on several public datasets covering multiple scenes, multimodal images, and multiple categories of objects demonstrate the effectiveness, scalability and superior performance of the proposed TS-Conv. © 2022, CC BY-NC-ND.

This study improves a classifier of the support vector machine (SVM) by optimizing its parameters by adjusting cockroach swarm optimization (CSO). Classification system design includes data inputs, pre-process, and classification. The relief technique selects the feature subset, and the kernel parameters used as input for the system. The feature selection and classification of data sets were figured out by the combination of ICSO and SVM with its optimized parameters synchronous. Simulation results of the proposed scheme are compared with other systems, e.g., GA-SVM, PSO-SVM, and CSO-SVM, which show that the proposed project can achieve better classification accuracy than the different algorithms. It is promising that the proposed scheme can be applied to high-dimensional data classification, such as image classification, signal classification. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2021.

Genealogical knowledge graphs depict the relationships of family networks and the development of family histories. They can help researchers to analyze and understand genealogical data, search for genealogical roots, and explore the origins of a family more easily. However, the multi-type, multisource dynamic changes and specialized nature of genealogical data bring challenges to the development of contemporary knowledge graph models. Applying existing methods to genealogical data can result in problems of overlooking certain specialized vocabulary and dynamic properties such as personal experiences. In this paper, we propose a genealogical knowledge graph model GKGM that combines HAO intelligence (h uman intelligence + a rtificial intelligence + o rganizational intelligence) and ontology granularity division technology to address the above problems. Furthermore, a method of applying the model to construct genealogical knowledge graphs is demonstrated, and an experiment conducted on a real-world genealogical dataset verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.

Recently, instead of pursuing high performance on classical evaluation metrics, the research focus of image captioning has shifted to generating sentences which are more vivid and stylized than human-written ones. However, there are still no applicable metrics which can judge how close the generated captions are to the human-written ones. In this paper, we propose a novel learning-based evaluation metric, namely Unpaired Image Captioning Evaluation (UICE), which can be trained to distinguish between human-written and generated captions. Unlike existing metrics, our UICE consists of two parts: the semantic alignment module measuring the semantic distance between extracted image features and caption meanings, and the syntactic discriminating module syntactically judging how human-like the candidate caption is. The semantic alignment module is implemented by mapping the image features and the word embedding into a unified tensor space. And the syntactic discriminating module is designed to be learning-based, and thereby can be trained to be stylized by users' own, fed with additional personalized corpus during the training process. Extensive experiments indicate that our metric can correctly judge the grammatical correctness of generated captions and the semantic consistency between captions and corresponding images.

In recent years, data center network is used for transmission, storage and processing of big data, which plays an important role for applications in cloud computing and CDN distribution. Network topology and routing algorithm are its core research content and key technical issues. The traditional network topology is difficult to guarantee the quality of service in scalability and fault tolerance. The server-centric data center network topology can ensure the scale of the data center network by recursively increasing the number of network nodes and links. relative to the Dcell, BCube, and BCCC typical network topology, PTNet network as a typical representative of a new type of the server-centric data center network topology, which has more advantages in scalability, fault tolerance and so on. Multicast and broadcast in data center network have more application scenarios and use value. For example, the video conference online, multimedia remote education and other development are inseparable from the application and promotion of network multicast and broadcast. So it is necessary to research the routing algorithms of multicast and broadcast in the network. Low-rank representation is powerful for recovering and clustering the subspace structures, but it cannot obtain deep hierarchical information due to the single-layer mode. In this paper, we present a new and effective strategy to extend the single-layer latent low-rank models into multiple-layers, and propose a new and progressive Deep Latent Low-Rank Fusion Network (DLRF-Net) to uncover deep features and structures embedded in input data. The basic idea of DLRF-Net is to refine features progressively from the previous layers by fusing the subspaces in each layer, which can potentially obtain accurate features and subspaces for representation. To learn deep information, DLRF-Net inputs shallow features of the last layers into subsequent layers. Then, it recovers the deeper features and hierarchical information by congregating the projective subspaces and clustering subspaces respectively in each layer. Thus, one can learn hierarchical subspaces, remove noise and discover the underlying clean subspaces. Note that most existing latent low-rank coding models can be extended to multilayers using DLRF-Net. Modern FABs use a large number of high-energy processes such as plasma, CVD, and ion implantation;the furnace is one of the important tools of semiconductor manufacturing. The FAB installed FTIR system due to the 12" furnace tools based on the aforementioned production management requirements. This study used open-type FTIR and integrated IoT mechanism to connect to the cloud, which is suitable for a variety of gaseous pollutants. This study set up two measuring points of furnace process tools in the 12" factory of Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan. This study obtained FTIR measurements, and according to the OHSA regulations, this study is set in the cloud database for big data analysis and decision-making, when the upper limits of TEOS, C2H4, and CO are 0.6 ppm, 2.0 ppm, and 1.7 ppm and the lower limits of TEOS, C2H4, and CO are 0.4 ppm, 1.5 ppm, and 1 ppm. The application architecture of this study can be extended to other semiconductor processes, so that IoT integration and big data operations can be performed for all processes;this is an important step in promoting FAB intelligent production and an important contribution of this study. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

High-tech industries such as semiconductors have become important pillars of Taiwan’s economy under the raging COVID-19 epidemic. The MES system actively collects and monitors the production materials generated in the manufacturing process and integrates the core business required by the company’s production such as orders, suppliers, property management, production, equipment maintenance, quality control, and other processes to improve the company’s manufacturing process and production efficiency. Big data of the process is the foundation of information. Good data quality is the basic condition for effective data analysis applications such as OLAP and data mining. The recursive field matching algorithm uses the recursive structure of the text field. The Sorted-Neighborhood Method (SNM) algorithm cannot solve all the matching records detected by a single keyword. data cleaning is a relatively mature field that expects more breakthroughs and innovations.
