In this paper, an uncertain nonlinear switched system with V-n jumps, characterized by its sensitivity to subjective uncertainties, is modeled using uncertain differential equations with V-n jumps. To account for the discontinuous jump behavior in each subsystem, a V-n jumps process associated with an uncertain Z-n jumps variable, defined by a jump uncertainty distribution, is introduced. Under the assumptions of linear growth and Lipschitz conditions, an existence and uniqueness theorem for the solutions of uncertain nonlinear switched systems with V-n jumps is established and rigorously proven. Rotation-Adaptive Point Cloud Domain Generalization via Intricate Orientation Learning

The vulnerability of 3D point cloud analysis to unpredictable rotations poses an open yet challenging problem: orientation-aware 3D domain generalization. Cross-domain robustness and adaptability of 3D representations are crucial but not easily achieved through rotation augmentation. Motivated by the inherent advantages of intricate orientations in enhancing generalizability, we propose an innovative rotation-adaptive domain generalization framework for 3D point cloud analysis. Our approach aims to alleviate orientational shifts by leveraging intricate samples in an iterative learning process. Specifically, we identify the most challenging rotation for each point cloud and construct an intricate orientation set by optimizing intricate orientations. Subsequently, we employ an orientation-aware contrastive learning framework that incorporates an orientation consistency loss and a margin separation loss, enabling effective learning of categorically discriminative and generalizable features with rotation consistency. Extensive experiments and ablations conducted on 3D cross-domain benchmarks firmly establish the state-of-the-art performance of our proposed approach in the context of orientation-aware 3D domain generalization. © 2025, CC BY-NC-SA.

Given the critical role of rotating machinery in industrial cyber-physical systems (ICPS), ensuring their reliable operation is essential for the stability and safety of ICPS. Deep neural networks have demonstrated competitive results for intelligent fault diagnosis, which are usually trained via the historical data of all fault modes. However, in real engineering, it is usually difficult to collect samples and exhaust all failures during the training stage. As a result, out-of-distribution fault diagnosis (OOD-FD) becomes a more realistic problem that requires the methods to not only accurately diagnose the known faults, but also effectively recognize unknown ones. Therefore, a novel orthogonal anchor clustering with focal attention (FA-OAC) is proposed in this paper for OOD-FD. Firstly, an orthogonal anchor clustering (OAC) algorithm is proposed to fix the class center of each fault mode orthogonally and distinguish the known and unknown faults at the class level. Then, because the identifiability of different fault modes changes a lot in OOD-FD, the focal attention mechanism is applied to dynamically adjust the attention to different fault modes according to the distance loss of OAC, thus addressing the identifiability imbalance problem. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, different OOD-FD tasks are designed based on two rotating machinery datasets. The experimental results and comparison with state-of-the-art fault diagnosis methods have demonstrated that the proposed method has improved the OOD-FD performance greatly and therefore provides an effective tool in real engineering. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent deformable 3D Gaussians methods achieve high-quality reconstruction and real-time rendering. However, they require multi-view information and are not applicable to single-view dynamic scenes captured from mobile phones. Additionally, the high-dimensional hidden layer of deformation MLP and the excessive number of Gaussian primitives and attributes impose significant storage pressure, greatly limiting their practical application. To address the issues, we propose a novel Lightweight Deformable 3D Gaussians teacher-student framework. Specifically, we initialize Gaussian primitives with an initialization strategy designed for single-view scenes, and then optimize the teacher model using color and depth information. For the trained teacher model, we distill deformation MLP, prune Gaussian primitives and Gaussian attributes, and finally obtain a student model with low storage and high efficiency. Public benchmark experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework, showing a compression rate exceeding 4× while maintaining satisfactory rendering quality. Project page: https://***/ldg/.

With the popularity of short video platforms, the number of single-view videos has increased significantly. Existing NeRF-based methods can reconstruct dynamic scenes in a single-view setting, but slow rendering speed and low rendering quality limit their practical applications. To address these challenges, we propose a fast single-view scenes reconstruction framework based on 3D Gaussian Splatting. Our method uses point clouds obtained with depth priors as the Gaussian initialization and introduces learnable parametric functions to model the time-dependent deformation of Gaussians. The explicit deformation modeling for Gaussians significantly reduces training and rendering time. Furthermore, to improve the rendering quality of challenging areas, we adopt an adaptive sampling strategy to densify Gaussians. For occlusion problems from single-view videos, we design a smooth loss function to restore the color of the occluded areas. Experimental results demonstrate that our method significantly reduces training time, enhances rendering quality, and accelerates rendering speed. Project page: https://***/LPGaussians.

Recognizing emotions in dialogues is vital for effective human-computer interaction, yet remains a challenging task in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Previous studies in Emotion Recognition in Conversation (ERC) have primarily focused on contextual features, while overlooking the importance of emotional features in emotion recognition. To address this gap, we focus on the role of emotional features in ERC and propose a novel method, Emotional Knowledge Self-Distillation (EmoKSD 1 ), to enhance the model’s emotional sensitivity. In EmoKSD, utterances are enriched with implicit ⟨mask⟩ tokens to represent conveyed emotions, allowing the distillation of emotional knowledge from explicit emotional tokens to implicit ⟨mask⟩ tokens, thereby enhancing the model’s ability to perceive subtle emotions within the dialogue. Through thorough evaluations on two public ERC datasets (i.e., IEMOCAP and MELD) using proposed coarse-grained utterance distillation and fine-grained token distillation techniques, EmoKSD demonstrates superior performance compared to existing methods, highlighting the significance of emotional features in ERC.

The sharing of Internet of Things (IoT) data plays an extensive role in our everyday lives. Exploring secure and efficient methods for data sharing is a prominent area of research. Proxy re-encryption (PRE) in the cloud provides a solution. However, traditional PRE schemes are vulnerable to algorithm substitution attacks (ASA). Moreover, in most PRE schemes, the proxy can know the relevant identity information of the data owner or the data recipient through the re-encryption key, and some current PRE schemes cannot guarantee strong resistance to collision. To address the limitations of traditional PRE schemes and offer a robust solution for secure and efficient data sharing in IoT application, we propose a reverse firewall for proxy re-encryption (PRE-RF) scheme, which we implement using the JPBC library. The security analysis reveals that the PRE-RF scheme offers effective resistance against ASA, while also providing strong collision security, chosen plaintext attack security, and key-private security. Compared to similar PRE schemes with more security features, our scheme reduces the length of the re-encryption keys and ciphertext, thereby reducing the storage cost of the system;also, our scheme’s computational cost is lower, thereby improving the operational efficiency of the system. Furthermore, as security levels rise, the portion of time dedicated to reverse firewall operations within our scheme diminishes. These advantages collectively render it a secure and efficient choice for sharing IoT data in unreliable cloud environments. © 2004-2012 IEEE All rights reserved.

As the deadliest form of pollution, air pollution had a prolonged severe damage to the human health and life safety of nearly 99% of the world's population. Facing to the problem that billions of tons of pollutants discharged into the air per year by industrial activities, this paper proposed a novel image-based air pollution monitor (IAPM) by incorporating local and global information in the self-adaptive multiscale transform domain, so as to achieve the timely and effective leakage detection of typical air pollutants from a single image. To be specific, this paper first developed a screen-shaped module according to two significant findings in visual neuroscience, which include the high sensitivity of human eyes to horizontal and vertical stimuli and the center-surround inhibition, by designing and fusing the square module, horizontal strip module and vertical strip module parallelly for simulating the behaviour of human eyes to extract local features. Second, the learnable weights and proportional mapping were applied to incorporate the screen-shaped module and lightweight vision transformer as backbone, towards more richly exploiting and fusing local and global information just as the way a brain perceives external stimuli. Third, a new self-adaptive multiscale transform domain method was devised based on two motivations from the visual characteristics of multiscale perception and the brain characteristics of self-adaptive domain transform to modify the backbone by using the operations of pooling and pointwise convolution. Extensive experiments implemented on the datasets of carbon particulate matters and ethylene leakage confirmed the superior monitoring performance of the proposed IAPM model beyond the state-of-the-art (SOTA) peers by an accuracy gain of about 4%. Furthermore, the proposed IAPM model only required 0.089 GFLOPs and 0.15 million model parameters, remarkably outperforming SOTA competitors in computational efficiency and storage resources. © 1999-2

Reducing radiation doses benefits patients, however, the resultant low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) images often suffer from clinically unacceptable noise and artifacts. While deep learning (DL) shows promise in LDCT reconstruction, it requires large-scale data collection from multiple clients, raising privacy concerns. Federated learning (FL) has been introduced to address these privacy concerns;however, current methods are typically tailored to specific scanning protocols, which limits their generalizability and makes them less effective for unseen protocols. To address these issues, we propose SCAN-PhysFed, a novel SCanning- and ANatomy-level personalized Physics-Driven Federated learning paradigm for LDCT reconstruction. Since the noise distribution in LDCT data is closely tied to scanning protocols and anatomical structures being scanned, we design a dual-level physics-informed way to address these challenges. Specifically, we incorporate physical and anatomical prompts into our physics-informed hypernetworks to capture scanning- and anatomy-specific information, enabling dual-level physics-driven personalization of imaging features. These prompts are derived from the scanning protocol and the radiology report generated by a medical large language model (MLLM), respectively. Subsequently, client-specific decoders project these dual-level personalized imaging features back into the image domain. Surface reconstruction of dynamic scenes from single view videos is a challenging task due to the highly ill-posed and under-constrained nature. Existing single view reconstruction methods suffer from severe quality issues, such as surface distortion and mesh adherison. In this paper, we propose an efficient dynamic representation network, PD-SDF, which consists of a 4D motion field and a 3D geometry field. The explicit disentanglement of motion and geometry based on planar factorization guarantees the mesh consistency across frames. Specifically, to address the mesh adhesion problem, we design a depth-guided sampling strategy to focus on optimizing the SDF field near the object surface. Due to insufficient geometric cues, we design various regularization strategies to constrain smoothness and topological correcness of the scene geometry. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms existing methods in both appearance and geometry reconstruction. The project page: https://***/
