Computational simulation for cylinder vibration under interference of a stationary cylinder

One degree of freedom vibration in cross-flow direction of an elastically mounted cylinder was simulated numerically in the wake of a stationary cylinder. The mass ratio was 1.9, and the spacing ratios of 5. The reduced velocities range from 2 to 16.5 with an interval of 0.5. Four regimes are found in the response of the cylinder under the interference of the upstream stationary cylinder. The numerical results indicate the vortexes from the upstream cylinder will take significant impact on cross-flow vibration of the downstream cylinder in the regime 2 of 5≤Vr≤8.5. Outside this range, the effect from the upstream stationary cylinder is week. The vibration of the downstream cylinder is something like the isolated cylinder. © 2016, UK Simulation Society. In neighborhood rough set model, the majority rule based neighborhood classifier (NC) is easy to be misjudged with the increasing of the size of information granules. To remedy this deficiency, we propose a neighborhood collaborative classifier (NCC) based on the idea of collaborative representation based classification (CRC). NCC first performs feature selection with neighborhood rough set, and then instead of solving the classification problem by the majority rule, NCC solves a similar problem with collaborative representation among the neighbors of each unseen sample. Experiments on UCI data sets demonstrate that: 1) Our NCC achieves satisfactory performance in larger neighborhood information granules when compared with NC; 2) NCC reduces the size of dictionary when compared with CRC.

Network attacks are one of the biggest threats in cloud security. According to the characteristics of network attacks in cloud computing, an improved k-means algorithm to optimize the clustering number k by function is proposed. The improved k-means algorithm is applied to the intrusion detection model. In the data mining detection module, the improved clustering analysis algorithm is used to adapt and detect those network attacks of different types, which has effectively solved the problems existing in intrusion detection of cloud computing, such as large amount of alarms and high rate of false alarm. Experiment results show that the improved clustering analysis algorithm applied to network attack detection in cloud computing can detect the network attacks efficiently. © 2016, ICIC Express Letters Office. Because mobile e-commerce is limited by the mobile terminal,network environment and other factors, accurate personalized recommendations become more and more important. We establish a large data intelligence platform,aiming at the characteristics of mobile e-commerce;we put forward a personal‐ized recommendation model with implicit intention ***, create an intelligence unit with the virtual individual association set,virtual demand association set and virtual behavior associated set;Secondly,calculate the complex buying behavior prediction engine;Finally, give the predic‐tive value of complex buying *** method takes full account of factors such as hidden wishes perturbations that affect the predict of complex buying behavior, which to some extent solve a long-span composite purchasing behavior prediction. It shows that this method improves the purchasing behavior prediction accuracy effectively through experiments.

With the Z-scan method,the nonlinear optical properties of the sample of Ethyl red(ER) in ethanol solution(in which the content of ER is 1% by weight) were measured using the lasers of three wavelengths(441.6nm,535 nm and 633nm) *** a result,the effective indexes of refraction n2 of ER at the three wavelengths are in the range from 1.35×10-10 to 5.44×10-9m2/W;n2 at 535 nm is the maximal and about 30 times that at 633 *** results show that the ER has a potential application value in optical limiting or in the field of fast response.

The HDWiki is same as the famous Wikipedia but major in Chinese include vase investment of manual effort and judgment, we divided this structured information into three categories: concept, relationship and entity. This paper describe a novel symbol oriented search that facilitate user to format unambiguous query, especially to format complex logical query which need several query to get answer on traditional search but just once here, it is building a bridge between what user know and what user wished, between the intent of user query and the understanding of search engine. This facilitation and understanding base on the ternary relationships what are everywhere in the HDWiki and HowNet powered semantic similarity measure for knowledge matching. We realize a logical semantic oriented search system and conducted a detailed user study with users, and found that this logical semantic oriented search and its underlying knowledge base provides significant advantages over conventional search. It offers assistance to almost every query especially complex logical queries, making the query entry more clear and efficient for user as well as for search engine, broadening the processing scope of complex logical query in the search, improving the relevance of the searched documents, and increased the probability of getting what user wished. © Wang et al.

Hadoop is a reasonable tool for cloud computing in big data era and MapReduce paradigm may be a highly successful programming model for large-scale data-intensive computing application, but the conventional MapReduce model and Hadoop framework limit themselves to implement jobs within single cluster. Traditional single-cluster Hadoop may not suitable for situations when data and compute resources are widely distributed this paper focuses on the application of Hadoop across multiple data centers and clusters. A hierarchical distributed computing architecture of Hadoop is designed and the virtual Hadoop file system is proposed to provide global data view across multiple data centers. The job submitted by user can be decomposed automatically into several sub-jobs which are then allocated and executed on corresponding clusters by location-aware manner. 3D garment segmentation based on semi-supervised learning method

In this paper, we propose a semi-supervised learning method to simultaneous segmentation and labeling of parts in 3D garments. The key idea in this work is to analyze 3D garments using semi-supervised learning method which can label parts in various 3D garments. We first develop an objective function based on Conditional Random Field (CRF) model to learn the prior knowledge of garment components from a set of training examples. Then, we exploit an effective training method that utilizes JointBoost classifiers based on the co-analysis for garments. And we modify the JointBoost to automatically cluster the segmented components without requiring manual parameter tuning. The purpose of our method is to relieve the manual segmentation and labeling of components in 3D garment collections. Finally, the experimental results show the performance of our proposed method is effective. © 2015 Binary Information Press & Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society December 2015.

Clothing in vision plays an important role in many applications of digital clothing, virtual fitting, fashion design and manufacturing. The research of clothing in vision is full of technical challenges, such as background detection and features extraction. In this paper, we introduce the latest remarkable works of clothing in vision area, including clothing segmentation, clothing recognition and clothing retrieval. There are many remarkable advances on the basis of the predecessors' achievements in the three fields. Firstly, we provide an overview of the techniques for clothing segmentation and clothing recognition. Then, we introduce and analyze the representative works on clothing retrieval. Finally, we forecast broader application prospect and future research work of clothing in vision. © 2015 Binary Information Press & Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society December 2015.
