In 1982,Goldwasser and Micali proposed the first probabilistic public key cryptosystem with indistinguishability under chosen plaintext attack security based on the quadratic residuosity *** expansion of Goldwasser's scheme is quite large,thereby the scheme is inefficient.A lot of schemes have been proposed to reduce the ciphertext *** schemes use the same encryption algorithm as Goldwasser's scheme with different parameters and keys,which we call them Goldwasser and Micali's type(GM-type)***-type schemes can be divided into two categories according to different parameters and decryption *** this paper,we propose the first generalized GM-type scheme combining these two *** GM-type schemes are special cases of our generalized GM-type *** ciphertext expansion of our scheme is smaller than that of any other GM-type schemes.

An in-depth Exploration of LAMOST Unknown Spectra Based on Density Clustering

Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) has completed the observation of nearly 20 million celestial objects,including a class of spectra labeled “Unknown.” Besides low signal-to-noise ratio,these spectra often show some anomalous features that do not work well with current *** this paper,a total of 637,889 “Unknown” spectra from LAMOST DR5 are selected,and an unsupervised-based analytical framework of “Unknown” spectra named SA-Frame(Spectra Analysis-Frame) is provided to explore their origins from different *** SA-Frame is composed of three parts:NAPC-Spec clustering,characterization and origin ***,NAPC-Spec(Nonparametric density clustering algorithm for spectra) characterizes different features in the “unknown” spectrum by adjusting the influence space and divergence distance to minimize the effects of noise and high dimensionality,resulting in 13 ***,characteristic extraction and representation of clustering results are carried out based on spectral lines and continuum,where these 13 types are characterized as regular spectra with low S/Ns,splicing problems,suspected galactic emission signals,contamination from city light and un-gregarious type ***,a preliminary analysis of their origins is made from the characteristics of the observational targets,contamination from the sky,and the working status of the *** results would be valuable for improving the overall data quality of large-scale spectral surveys.

A dual-control reconfigurable intelligent metasurface (DC-RIMS) composed of 24× 22 symmetric cells in the 5G mid-band is proposed. The DC-RIMS of non-artificial-magnetic-conductor type provides a smaller phase resolution of 60° with 2 bits under normal incidence. Angular sensitivities of the RIMS under oblique incidence are investigated. Our results show that the reflection responses at elevation angles are more sensitive than the azimuth angles, whereas the maximum phase differences are differed from each polarization. The horizontal one increases to 220° whereas the vertical one reduces to 150° as compared with overlapped 180° under normal incidence. © 2023 IEEE.

A radial basis function network(RBF)has excellent generalization ability and approximation accuracy when its parameters are set ***,when relying only on traditional methods,it is difficult to obtain optimal network parameters and construct a stable model as *** view of this,a novel radial basis neural network(RBF-MLP)is proposed in this *** connecting two networks to work cooperatively,the RBF’s parameters can be adjusted adaptively by the structure of the multi-layer perceptron(MLP)to realize the effect of the backpropagation updating ***,a genetic algorithm is used to optimize the network’s hidden layer to confirm the optimal neurons(basis function)number *** addition,a memristive circuit model is proposed to realize the neural network’s operation based on the characteristics of spin *** is verified that the network can adaptively construct a network model with outstanding robustness and can stably achieve 98.33%accuracy in the processing of the Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology(MNIST)dataset classification *** experimental results show that the method has considerable application value.

In the era of the explosion of digital content of large-scale self-media, user-friendly social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, provide opportunities for people to express their ideas and opinions freely. Due to lack of restrictions, hateful speech and its exposure can have profound psychological impacts on society. Current social networking platform is over-reliant on the manual check, and it is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Although there are many machines learning methods for the detection of hate speech, short text with character limit on social platforms is more challenging for the detection of hate speech and offensive language. To address the problem of data sparsity, we have proposed a topic memory model for hate speech and offensive language detection (abbreviated as TM-HOL). Potential topics are generated with our encoder and decoder to enrich short text features. Two memory matrices correspond to the topic words and the text, and the hate feature matrix is used to learn the syntactic features. It is demonstrated that our proposed method is effective on three datasets, performing better weighted-F1. © 2021 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Spiking neural networks(SNNs) are widely used in many fields because they work closer to biological ***,due to its computational complexity,many SNNs implementations are limited to computer ***,this paper proposes a multi-synaptic circuit(MSC) based on memristor,which realizes the multi-synapse connection between neurons and the multi-delay transmission of pulse *** synapse circuit participates in the calculation of the network while transmitting the pulse signal,and completes the complex calculations on the software with ***,a new spiking neuron circuit based on the leaky integrate-and-fire(LIF) model is designed in this *** amplitude and width of the pulse emitted by the spiking neuron circuit can be adjusted as *** combination of spiking neuron circuit and MSC forms the multi-synaptic spiking neuron(MSSN).The MSSN was simulated in PSPICE and the expected result was obtained,which verified the feasibility of the ***,a small SNN was designed based on the mathematical model of *** the SNN is trained and optimized,it obtains a good accuracy in the classification of the IRIS-dataset,which verifies the practicability of the design in the network.

In daily life, it is easy to obtain a large number of images in the form of sets. How to extract discriminative information from a wide range of images become very important. Most of the existing image set classification methods based on collaborative representation assume that the images in the same set can affect each other, ignoring the interaction between sets. In order to solve the above problems, a joint learning based on discriminative representation and group collaborative measurement (DRGCM) is proposed. Through the deep subspace clustering algorithm, the set is accurately divided, and multiple local models are found to form a dictionary. In the training stage, a global projection matrix learning model is designed to make the dictionary have stronger representation ability of prototype points in the embedded space. In the testing phase, a class-specific projection matrix model is constructed around the test set to make the dictionary more discriminative to the test set in a specific embedding space. Finally, the excellent performance on Honda, Mobo and other database proves the effectiveness of the algorithm. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

SR-AFU: super-resolution network using adaptive frequency component upsampling and multi-resolution features

Image super-resolution (SR) is one of the classic computer vision tasks. This paper proposes a super-resolution network based on adaptive frequency component upsampling, named SR-AFU. The network is composed of multiple cascaded dilated convolution residual blocks (CDCRB) to extract multi-resolution features representing image semantics, and multiple multi-size convolutional upsampling blocks (MCUB) to adaptively upsample different frequency components using CDCRB features. The paper also defines a new loss function based on the discrete wavelet transform, making the reconstructed SR images closer to human perception. Experiments on the benchmark datasets show that SR-AFU has higher peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), significantly faster training speed and more realistic visual effects compared with the existing methods.

Preserving the functionality of hepatocytes in vitro poses a significant challenge in liver tissue engineering and bioartificial liver,as these cells rapidly lose their metabolic and functional characteristics after *** by the macroporous structures found in native liver tissues,here we develop synthetic hydrogel scaffolds that closely mimic the liver’s structural organization through the phase separation between polyethylene glycol(PEG)and *** hydrogels exhibit interconnected macroporous structures and appropriate mechanical properties,providing an optimal microenvironment conducive to hepatocyte adhesion and the formation of sizable *** to two-dimensional hepatocyte cultures,enhanced functionalities of hepatocytes cultured in our macroporous hydrogels were observed for 14 days,as evidenced by quantitative reverse-transcription–polymerase chain reactions(qRT-PCR),immunofluorescence,and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)*** sequencing data further confirmed the establishment of cell–cell interactions among hepatocytes when cultured in our ***,these hepatocytes maintained a protein expression lineage that closely resembled freshly isolated hepatocytes,particularly in the Notch and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)signaling *** results suggest that the macroporous hydrogels are attractive scaffolds for liver tissue engineering.

Despite the benefits of using third-party libraries (TPLs), the misuse of TPL functions raises quality and security concerns. Using traditional static analysis to detect bugs caused by TPL function is nontrivial. One promising solution would be to automatically generate and persist the summaries of TPL functions offline and then reuse these summaries in compositional static analysis online. However, when dealing with millions of lines of TPL code, the summaries designed by existing studies suffer from an unresolved paradox. That is, a highly precise form of summary leads to an unaffordable space and time overhead, while an imprecise one seriously hurts its precision or recall. To address the paradox, we propose a novel two-layer summary design. The first layer utilizes a line-sized program representation known as the program dependence graph to compactly encode path conditions, while the second layer encodes bug-type-specific properties. We implemented our idea as a tool called Libalchemy and evaluated it on fifteen mature and extensively checked open-source projects. Experimental results show that Libalchemy can check over ten million lines of code within ten hours. Libalchemy has detected 55 true bugs with a high precision of 90.16%, eleven of which have been assigned CVE IDs. Compared to whole-program analysis and the conventional design of path-sensitively precise summaries, Libalchemy achieves an 18.56× and 12.77× speedup and saves 91.49% and 90.51% of memory usage, respectively. © 2024 ACM.
