We report the results of a search for radio pulsars in five supernova remnants(SNRs)with the FAST *** observations were made using the 19-beam receiver in“snapshot”*** integration time for each pointing was 10 *** discovered a new pulsar,PSR J1845–0306,which has a spin period of 983.6 ms and a dispersion measure of 444.6±2.0 cm^(−3)·pc,in observations of SNR G29.6+*** judge the association between the pulsar and the SNR,further verification is *** also re-detected some known pulsars in the data from SNRs G29.6+0.1 and G29.7–*** pulsars were detected in the observations of the other three SNRs.

BENCHMARKING AGENTIC WORKFLOW GENERATION

Large Language Models (LLMs), with their exceptional ability to handle a wide range of tasks, have driven significant advancements in tackling reasoning and planning tasks, wherein decomposing complex problems into executable workflows is a crucial step in this process. Existing workflow evaluation frameworks either focus solely on holistic performance or suffer from limitations such as restricted scenario coverage, simplistic workflow structures, and lax evaluation standards. To this end, we introduce WORFBENCH, a unified workflow generation benchmark with multi-faceted scenarios and intricate graph workflow structures. Additionally, we present WORFEVAL, a systemic evaluation protocol utilizing subsequence and subgraph matching algorithms to accurately quantify the LLM agent’s workflow generation capabilities. Through comprehensive evaluations across different types of LLMs, we discover distinct gaps between the sequence planning capabilities and graph planning capabilities of LLM agents, with even GPT-4 exhibiting a gap of around 15%. We also train two open-source models and evaluate their generalization abilities on held-out tasks. Furthermore, we observe that the generated workflows can enhance downstream tasks, enabling them to achieve superior performance with less time during inference1 Copyright © 2024, The Authors. To improve the feature representation ability of the YOLOX algorithm and obtain better detection performance, an object detection algorithm based on second-order pooling network and gaussian mixture attention is proposed. Firstly, the second-order pooling network is added after the PAFPN, and the higher-order statistical information is obtained by calculating the covariance matrix between different channels, to enhance the non-linear modeling capability. Secondly, the mixture attention based on the gaussian function is added after the SPP to model global contexts in the spatial and channel dimensions respectively, which improves the network performance with almost no extra parameters. The experimental results show that the detection accuracy of the proposed algorithm on the PASCAL VOC dataset reaches 82.6 %, which is 1.6 % higher than the YOLOX algorithm. © 2022 ACM.

Training generative adversarial networks (GANs) with limited data is challenging because the discriminator is prone to overfitting. Previously proposed differentiable augmentation demonstrates improved data efficiency of training GANs. However, the augmentation implicitly introduces undesired invariance to augmentation for the discriminator since it ignores the change of semantics in the label space caused by data transformation, which may limit the representation learning ability of the discriminator and ultimately affect the generative modeling performance of the generator. To mitigate the negative impact of invariance while inheriting the benefits of data augmentation, we propose a novel augmentation-aware self-supervised discriminator that predicts the augmentation parameter of the augmented data. Particularly, the prediction targets of real data and generated data are required to be distinguished since they are different during training. We further encourage the generator to adversarially learn from the self-supervised discriminator by generating augmentation-predictable real and not fake data. This formulation connects the learning objective of the generator and the arithmetic - harmonic mean divergence under certain assumptions. We compare our method with state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods using the class-conditional BigGAN and unconditional StyleGAN2 architectures on data-limited CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100, FFHQ, LSUN-Cat, and five low-shot datasets. Experimental results demonstrate significant improvements of our method over SOTA methods in training data-efficient GANs. © 2023 Neural information processing systems foundation. Transportation systems primarily depend on vehicular flow on roads. Developed coun-tries have shifted towards automated signal control, which manages and updates signal synchronisation automatically. In contrast, traffic in underdeveloped countries is mainly governed by manual traffic light systems. These existing manual systems lead to numerous issues, wasting substantial resources such as time, energy, and fuel, as they cannot make real‐time decisions. In this work, we propose an algorithm to determine traffic signal durations based on real‐time vehicle density, obtained from live closed circuit television camera feeds adjacent to traffic signals. The algorithm automates the traffic light system, making decisions based on vehicle density and employing Faster R‐CNN for vehicle detection. Additionally, we have created a local dataset from live streams of Punjab Safe City cameras in collaboration with the local police authority. The proposed algorithm achieves a class accuracy of 96.6% and a vehicle detection accuracy of 95.7%. Across both day and night modes, our proposed method maintains an average precision, recall, F1 score, and vehicle detection accuracy of 0.94, 0.98, 0.96 and 0.95, respectively. Our proposed work surpasses all evaluation metrics compared to state‐of‐the‐art methodologies.

Social media is the platform for most people to share their opinions, emojis are also widely used to express moods, emotions, and feelings on social media. There have been many researched on emojis and sentiment analysis. However, existing methods mainly face two limitations. First, since deep learning relies on large amounts of labeled data, the training samples of emoji are not enough to achieve the training effect. Second, they consider the sentiment of emojis and texts separately, not fully exploring the impact of emojis on the sentiment polarity of texts. In this paper, we propose a joint learning sentiment analysis method incorporating emoji-augmentation, and the method has two advantages compared with the existing work. First, We optimize the easy data augmentation method so that the newly generated sentences can also preserve the semantic information of emojis, which relieves the problem of insufficient training data with emojis. Second, it fuses emojis and text features to allow the model to better learn the mutual emotional semantics between text and emojis, jointly training emojis and words to obtain the sentence representations containing more semantic information of both emojis and text. Our experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance compared with several baselines on two datasets. © 2022 IEEE.

To enhance the expression ability of deep features and improve the tracking performance of the fully convolutional siamese network (SiamFC) in the UAV scene, we propose a UAV visual tracking algorithm based on feature fusion of the attention mechanism. By designing the local perception attention module and the global perception attention module to enhance the features extracted from the backbone network, a set of complementary local enhanced features and global enhanced features are obtained. And then, the tracking response map fused with the two features is then located, which effectively improves the tracking robustness of SiamFC in the UAV scene. The algorithm and nine other related algorithms such as SiamFC are tested on the DTB70 dataset. The experiments show that the algorithm has a good tracking performance and can adapt to the visual object tracking task in the UAV scene. © 2022 ACM.

In recent years, the frequent occurrence of phishing scams on Ethereum has posed serious threats to transaction security and the financial safety of users. This paper proposes an Ethereum phishing scam detection method based on Hyperbolic Neural Networks (HGNNs) and temporal information. The method maps the Ethereum transaction network to hyperbolic space for structural feature extraction, effectively capturing hierarchical structures and complex relationships within the graph, thereby improving the accuracy of phishing scam detection. The model includes a structural feature extraction module and a temporal feature extraction module. It uses HGNN and self-attention mechanism to extract the structural features of the transaction graph, and uses a multi-head attention mechanism to capture the dynamic evolution pattern of the graph. Experimental validation on real Ethereum datasets demonstrates that the proposed model outperforms benchmark models, showcasing its effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

Vision language models (VLMs) have achieved impressive progress in diverse applications, becoming a prevalent research direction. In this paper, we build FIRE, a feedback-refinement dataset, consisting of 1.1M multi-turn conversations that are derived from 27 source datasets, empowering VLMs to spontaneously refine their responses based on user feedback across diverse tasks. To scale up the data collection, FIRE is collected in two components: FIRE-100K and FIRE-1M, where FIRE-100K is generated by GPT-4V, and FIRE-1M is freely generated via models trained on FIRE-100K. Then, we build FIRE-Bench, a benchmark to comprehensively evaluate the feedback-refining capability of VLMs, which contains 11K feedback-refinement conversations as the test data, two evaluation settings, and a model to provide feedback for VLMs. We develop the FIRE-LLaVA model by fine-tuning LLaVA on FIRE-100K and FIRE-1M, which shows remarkable feedback-refining capability on FIRE-Bench and outperforms untrained VLMs by 50%, making more efficient user-agent interactions and underscoring the significance of the FIRE dataset. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. Few-Shot Source Separation for IoT Anti-Jamming via Multi-Task Learning and Meta-Learning

Malicious jamming attacks pose a significant threat to the integrity and performance of Internet of Things (IoT) networks. However, many jamming patterns are rare or infrequent, which makes them difficult to counter effectively. This paper addresses the critical issue of anti-jamming (AJ) under few-shot sample conditions in IoT networks. Source separation is a key component of AJ communication. Although deep learning-based source separation has demonstrated significant advantages, it typically requires a large amount of labeled data, which can be impractical in certain environments. To overcome this challenge, we propose two novel schemes that leverage multi-task learning (MTL) and meta-learning (ML) to enhance the model's signal separation capabilities within the constraints of limited sample scenarios. MTL enhances robustness by leveraging shared representations across tasks, while ML allows for rapid adaptation to novel jamming signals with minimal samples. Specifically, we employ a modified separation model, SepFormer, as our baseline and integrate MTL and ML schemes to enable the separation of unknown or few-shot jamming signals. Additionally, we have constructed two datasets encompassing both simulated and real-world environmental data to test and evaluate the performance of the proposed methods. Simulation results demonstrate the superior AJ performance of our schemes, particularly when compared with a direct application of the separation model with few-shot samples. Furthermore, our evaluation of performance across various jamming scenarios and interference-to-signal ratios (ISR) further confirms the effectiveness of our proposed scheme. © 2014 IEEE.
