Ultralight vector particles can form evolving condensates around a Kerr black hole(BH)due to superradiant *** study the effect of near-horizon reflection on the evolution of this system:by matching three pieces of asymptotic expansions of the Proca equation in Kerr metric and considering the leading order in the electric mode,we present explicit analytical expressions for the corrected spectrum and the superradiant instability ***,in high-spin BH cases,we identify an anomalous situation where the superradiance rate is temporarily increased by the reflection parameter R,which also occurs in the scalar scenario,but is largely magnified in vector condensates due to a faster growth rate in dominant *** point out that the condition for the growth anomaly in the adiabatic case is that information carried per particle exceeds a certain value δ1/δN>2πκ_(B)√(1+R)/(1-R).We further construct several featured quantities to illustrate it,and formalize the anomalyinduced gravitational wave strain deformation.

Android malware authors often use packers to evade analysis. Although many unpacking tools have been proposed, they face two significant challenges: 1) They are easily impeded by anti-analysis techniques employed by packers, preventing efficient collection of hidden Dex data. 2) They are typically designed to unpack a specific packer and cannot handle malware packed with mixed packers. Consequently, many packed malware samples evade detection. To bridge this gap, we propose Gupacker , a novel generalized unpacking framework. Gupacker offers a generic solution for first-generation holistic packer by customizing the Android system source code. It identifies the type of packer and selects an appropriate unpacking function, constructs a deeper active call chain to achieve generic unpacking of second-generation function extraction packers, and uses JNI function and instruction monitoring to handle third-generation virtual obfuscation packer. On this basis, we counteract a diverse array of anti-analysis techniques. We conduct extensive experiments on 5K packed Android malware samples, comparing Gupacker with 2 commercial and 4 state-of-the-art academic unpacking tools. The results demonstrate that Gupacker significantly improves the efficiency of Android malware unpacking with acceptable system overhead. We analyze real packed applications based on Gupacker and found several are second-packed by attackers, including WPS for Android, with tens of millions of users. We receive and responsibly report 13 0day vulnerabilities and also assist in the remediation of all vulnerabilities. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

Hybrid model of multimodal based on data enhancement and lumped reaction kinetics: Applying to industrial ebullated-bed residue hydrogenation unit

Industrial ebullated-bed is an important device for promoting the cleaning and upgrading of oil products. The lumped kinetic model is a powerful tool for predicting the product yield of the ebullated-bed residue hydrogenation (EBRH) unit, However, during the long-term operation of the device, there are phenomena such as low frequency of material property analysis leading to limited operating data and diverse operating modes at the same time scale, which poses a huge challenge to building an accurate product yield prediction model. To address these challenges, a data augmentation-based eleven lumped reaction kinetics mechanism model was constructed. This model combines generative adversarial networks, outlier elimination, and L2 norm data filtering to expand the dataset and utilizes kernel principal component analysis-fuzzy C-means for operating condition partitioning. Based on the hydrogenation reaction mechanism, a single and sub operating condition eleven lumped reaction kinetics model of an ebullated-bed residue hydrogenation unit, comprising 55 reaction paths and 110 parameters, was constructed before and after data augmentation. Compared to the single model before data enhancement, the average absolute error of the sub-models under data enhancement division was reduced by 23%. Thus, these findings can help guide the operation and optimization of the production process. © 2024 Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) and Chemical Industry Press Co., Ltd. Photonic crystal fiber (PCF) has shown a promising application in various fields of modern optics due to its excellent transmission characteristics. However, conventional numerical solution methods have limitations such as high computational effort and low efficiency in designing PCF structures and characterizing pulse propagation in PCFs. With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, various types of intelligent computing approaches, especially intelligent algorithm and machine learning algorithm (IML), provide new perspectives to solve the above difficulties. Therefore, an increasing number of researchers are committed to using IML to break through the limitations of conventional methods and accordingly open up a new interdisciplinary research direction. This paper begins with a brief overview of common optical properties and typical algorithms. Subsequently, it reviews specific areas where PCF and IML are combined, including the prediction and optimization of optical properties, the design of polarization devices, fiber lasers and amplifiers, as well as the control and prediction of Supercontinuum generation. The instantaneous detection of entanglement in quantum states poses a significant challenge in the fields of quantum computation and quantum information,and there are no practical methods or tools to complete this task satisfactorily so *** propose a sufficient and necessary criterion of k-nonseparability for any n-partite finite or infinite dimensional systems,2≤k≤*** criterion serves as the foundation for a practical scheme designed to detect entanglement and k-nonseparability across multipar-tite finite-dimensional *** exemplify the application of our scheme,we have developed a software tool that facilitates swift and precise identification of entanglement,k-nonseparability,and genuine entanglement within n-qubit systems,specifically tailored for systems with 2≤n≤4.

HTOTP: Honey Time-Based One-Time Passwords

One-Time Passwords (OTPs) play a crucial role in Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by adding an additional layer of security. OTPs effectively reduce the risk of static passwords being intercepted and reused. Nevertheless, both academic schemes and industrial solutions face security threats stemming from server/device compromises and OTP factor forgery. Chain-based asymmetric OTP schemes are a promising approach to addressing the problem of server compromise but still face threats from device compromise and pre-generated chain leakage. We emphasize that since devices directly store the OTP seed, OTP authentication is essentially equivalent to verifying device possession. This means that in existing OTP schemes, OTP forgery and device compromise remain prevalent and difficult to overcome. In this work, we propose a brand new scheme to address OTP factor forgery and server/device compromises. For the first time, our scheme constructs a tightly coupled architecture between the password factor and the OTP factor. The OTP seed is derived from a password and a device-stored salt, preventing OTP seed extraction and OTP forgery even in the event of a device compromise. Through the integration of "honeywords" with the tightly coupled OTP architecture, the server stores decoy OTP seeds generated by decoy passwords, providing resistance against server compromises and partial password guessing from devices. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our OTP schemes. The computational overhead is correlated with the number of honeywords, and with the recommended set size of 20, the total verification overhead is approximately 0.24~ms . Additionally, we propose formal security properties and application metrics, and rigorously prove our scheme’s resistance against server/device compromise attacks and guessing attacks. Our scheme is the first to achieve comprehensive OTP security with low overhead. © 2005-2012 IEEE.
