The UML behavioral models are used in understanding and communicating the problem domain concepts,during the requirement analysis phase of system *** absence of formal semantics for UML behavioral models makes it difficult to build automated tools for their analysis,simulation and validation. These semantics should be well defined based on a formal language that yields the fundamental requirements for a rigorous validation of the specification models. In this paper, an approach is proposed for formal analysis and simulation of the UML behavioral models. Initially, we define UML activity diagram semantics. These semantics are translated into a Coloured Petri Nets(CPN). Hence, In order to allow a more concrete model behavior analysis, we coined the mapping rules from the specification models composed of objects and events. The results of analysis are in the form of a CPN-Tools report by means of state space analysis or model checking, to illustrate the proposed methodology we used a case study.

This paper presents an "accelerated" adaptive control (AAC) for a class of nonlinear uncertain systems with guaranteed well-shaped transient response and controllable tracking process. By invoking an appropriate rate function from a function pool provided into the control law and the adaptive law, a control scheme with double adaptation units is developed, which not only ensures full state zero-error tracking under parametric uncertainties, but also allows the tracking rate of convergence to be explicitly and arbitrarily specifiable so that the tracking error decay rate during the transient period can be made as fast as exponential or even faster. Such feature, seldom observed from most existing tracking designs, is deemed attractive for many important applications.

Various in-situ synthesis methods have been developed for the polymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) monomers, such as electro-polymerization (EP), oxidative chemical vapor deposition (OCVD) and vapor phase polymerization (VPP). Additional to these existing techniques, here a novel and facile method is introduced to fabricate highly conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) films in-situ by solution means. The process contains sequential deposition of oxidants and monomers. V2O5 is introduced as the oxidant in this synthetic route. Excess reactants and by-products can be completely removed from the PEDOT film by MeOH-rinsing. The obtained PEDOT films possess good crystallinity and high doping level, with carrier concentration three orders of magnitude higher than the commercial product (PH1000, Heraeus GmbH). The electrical conductivity of the as-cast PEDOT film reaches up to 1420 S/cm. In addition, this method is fully compatible with large-scale printing techniques. A 15 cm × 12 cm PEDOT film is printed on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate by bar coating. These PEDOT conducting films enable the realization of flexible touch sensors, which demonstrate superior flexibility and sensitivity. The low-cost and highly efficient synthetic method shows great potential for large-scale production of PEDOT films that have wide applications in electromagnetic shielding, antistatic coating, sensor, etc. © 2018, The Authors. This paper investigates the receding horizon H∞ guaranteed cost control for a class of norm-bounded uncertain systems subject to actuator saturation. A sufficient condition for the existence of the controller is proposed to handle the amplitudes of control input signals and guarantee both of the H∞ norm and quadratic cost performance for all admissible uncertainties and external disturbances. Furthermore, the optimal receding horizon controller can be obtained by on-line solving a convex optimization problem with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) constraints. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is demonstrated with a numerical example. © 2017 IEEE.

With the rapid development of location aware computing technologies, the research of data mining for spatial-temporal trajectories has attracted many scholars. As an important data source, through the GPS receivers taxis provide researchers with massive trajectory data, which are featured by their high quality, good continuity and wide distribution, making it suitable for travel pattern mining. In this paper, we study on urban residents' trip attractive areas with trajectory data of about 10000 taxis in Chongqing city, to discover the characteristics of urban traffic distribution to serve for the construction of modern intelligent traffic system. Firstly, a framework of trajectory preprocessing, including data cleaning, extraction for the taxi passenger pick-up points and drop-off points, is presented to reduce the noise and redundancy in raw trajectory data. Secondly, in the light of the shortcomings of the existing mining methods for attractive areas, such as high complexity and poor scalability, we propose a grid density based clustering algorithm to mine the trip attractive areas in different periods. In the experiments, we take a performance comparison between our algorithm and DBSCAN algorithm, and discuss how to determine the optimal parameters of our algorithm. Then, we verify the practicability of our algorithm with real data.

Sparse graph-based inductive learning with its application to image classification

We present a graph-based classification approach called sparse graph-based inductive learning (SGIL). Different to the conventional graph-based classifiers, which perform the classification in a semisupervised way, SGIL is a purely supervised method whose classifier is totally learned in an inductive fashion instead of transductive fashion. Similar to the idea of sparse graph-based classifier, SGIL constructs a sparse graph to encode the correlations of training samples, and considers the classification issue as a regularized sparse graph partition issue where the optimal graph cut should not only minimize the correlation loss of the training samples but also minimize the classification errors. Essentially, the learned graph cut plays a role as the predicted labels here. Thus, a linear classifier can be inductively derived by learning a mapping between the training samples and the graph cuts. Since SGIL is purely supervised, it enjoys several desirable properties over the semisupervised ones in graph construction and model training. We evaluate our work on several popular image datasets. The experimental results demonstrate its superiority. © 2016 SPIE and IS&T.

In the wireless sensor network applications, what is easily found that it is difficult to guarantee the quality of link communication in the communication channel by the scene frequency interference. In this paper, the frequency hopping communication mechanism of wireless sensor network based on RSSI is proposed. By analyzing the factors that affect the RSSI value, the RSSI value recognition network communication interference strategy is determined. By using the distributed decision fusion algorithm, all nodes participate in the network frequency hopping decision, effectively reduce the probability of false frequency decision error. The results show that the probability of accurate identification of interference is more than 95%, the error rate of FM decision can be controlled at 5%, and the quality of link communication is improved.

DPHK： real-time distributed predicted data collecting based on activity pattern knowledge mined from trajectories in smart environments

In this paper, we have proposed and designed DPHK （data prediction based on HMM according to activity pattern knowledge mined from trajectories）, a real-time distributed predicted data collection system to solve the congestion and data loss caused by too many connections to sink node in indoor smart environment scenarios （like Smart Home, Smart Wireless Healthcare and so on）. DPHK predicts and sends predicted data at one time instead of sending the triggered data of these sensor nodes which people is going to pass in several times. Firstly, our system learns the knowl- edge of transition probability among sensor nodes from the historical binary motion data through data mining. Secondly, it stores the corresponding knowledge in each sensor node based on a special storage mechanism. Thirdly, each sensor node applies HMM （hidden Markov model） algorithm to pre- dict the sensor node locations people will arrive at according to the received message. At last, these sensor nodes send their triggered data and the predicted data to the sink node. The significances of DPHK are as follows：（a） the procedure of DPHK is distributed; （b） it effectively reduces the connection between sensor nodes and sink node. The time complexities of the proposed algorithms are analyzed and the performance is evaluated by some designed experiments in a smart environment.

Water quality evaluation is vital for water monitoring and management in mangrove ecosystem of Beilun gulf and Zhenzhu bay in Guangxi of china. Over the past few years, with the expansion of urbanization and economic development, the coastal water quality in mangrove ecosystem is becoming worse. This literature applied the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and principal component analysis (PCA) techniques to evaluate the water quality in the study area and to evaluate the overall rating of stations with respect to the 14 water quality parameters. The PCA analysis is based on the precise clustering of FCM analysis. More reasonable evaluation of water quality by PCA was obtained. Our numerical analysis has verified the result of the current paper is correct. In addition, those results can provide some selectable methods to improve station number for interrelated management department with the limit funds and resources.

Worst-Case Finish Time Analysis for DAG-Based Applications in the Presence of Transient Faults

Tasks in hard real-time systems are required to meet preset deadlines, even in the presence of transient faults and hence the analysis of worst-case finish time （WCFT） must consider the extra time incurred by re-executing tasks that were faulty. Existing solutions can only estimate WCFT and usually result in significant under- or over-estimation. In this work, we conclude that a sufficient and necessary condition of a task set experiencing its WCFT is that its critical task incurs all expected transient faults. A method is presented to identify the critical task and WCFT in O（IVI ＋ IEI） where IVI and IEI are the number of tasks and dependencies between tasks, respectively. This method finds its application in testing the feasibility of directed acyclic graph （DAG） based task sets scheduled in a wide variety of fault-prone multi-processor systems, where the processors could be either homogeneous or heterogeneous, DVS-capable or DVS-incapable, etc. The common practices, which require the same time complexity as the proposed critical-task method, could either underestimate the worst case by up to 25%, or overestimate by 13%. Based on the proposed critical-task method, a simulated-annealing scheduling algorithm is developed to find the energy efficient fault-tolerant schedule for a given DAG task set. Experimental results show that the proposed critical-task method wins over a common practice by up to 40% in terms of energy saving.
