The microscopic traffic flow stability is difficult to describe the influences of the dynamic relationship between vehicles on traffic conditions. In order to solve the problem, from the perspective of macroscopic and microscopic parameters of traffic flow and considering the discreteness of velocity and following distance, the paper selected average velocity, average following distance, the variation coefficient of velocity and following distance as the traffic flow stability indices. And a stability evaluation model was constructed based on fuzzy theory. Using VISSIM simulation software, simulation experiment was carried out. The influences of traffic volume, traffic incident, traffic signals and GPS permeability on traffic flow stability evaluation were analyzed. Results show that traffic flow stability decreases gradually with the increase of volume. When there is a traffic incident, traffic flow stability decreases at the upstream section, while it is contrary to the downstream section. With the decrease of GPS permeability, the differences of the four indices and traffic flow stability at these GPS permeability with that of full permeability are becoming bigger and bigger. So the behavior described by the model is consistent with the actual state of the traffic system, proving that the model is real and effective. Thus it can be used to evaluate urban traffic flow stability macroscopically.

Sparse graph-based inductive learning with its application to image classification

We present a graph-based classification approach called sparse graph-based inductive learning (SGIL). Different to the conventional graph-based classifiers, which perform the classification in a semisupervised way, SGIL is a purely supervised method whose classifier is totally learned in an inductive fashion instead of transductive fashion. Similar to the idea of sparse graph-based classifier, SGIL constructs a sparse graph to encode the correlations of training samples, and considers the classification issue as a regularized sparse graph partition issue where the optimal graph cut should not only minimize the correlation loss of the training samples but also minimize the classification errors. Essentially, the learned graph cut plays a role as the predicted labels here. Thus, a linear classifier can be inductively derived by learning a mapping between the training samples and the graph cuts. Since SGIL is purely supervised, it enjoys several desirable properties over the semisupervised ones in graph construction and model training. We evaluate our work on several popular image datasets. The experimental results demonstrate its superiority. © 2016 SPIE and IS&T.

Auction fraud and anomalies detection is proved to be a troublesome task. The fraudulent cliques can easily forge lots of unreal transactions, to improve their reputation and cheat the auction reputation system. By applying cellular automata reference to the transaction graph, which is constructed from users and their transaction feedbacks, we introduced an graphic model of cellular automata, which is named GCA, and a parallel analysis algorithm was implemented on Hadoop. Series of data preprocessing were performed beforehand, including data cleaning, selection and manual verification. By the definition of valid state transition rules, GCA functioned well in state prediction under the influence of its neighbors. Finally, several groups of experiments were carried out, and the results demonstrated that GCA is both effective and efficient, as it was able to predict the credible state of the tens of thousands of traders in less than one second. © 2013 IEEE.

The load imbalance of sensor node is a severe problem for Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).In this paper,we firstly propose a Multi-hop Multi-relay Network Model(MMNM) with Relaying Head(RH) to balance the load among sensor *** the emergence of energy harvesting techniques brings us the Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks(EH-WSNs).Due to the indeterminacy of energy that can be harvested in ambient environment,study on energy management mechanism to achieve energy neutral is *** proposed a novel Sensor Nodes Pair(SNP) policy dividing all the sensor nodes into two groups GSN and GSN'.With the function rotation of GSN and GSN',we achieve continuous data transmission avoiding time *** a Historical Harvested Energy Assigning Mechanism(H-HEAM) is proposed to ensure the energy neutral constrains and perpetual network *** simulation results verify that our MMNM and H-HEAM are indeed able to improve the network overall performance on throughput,energy utilization efficiency and time delay.

Heuristics-based semantic annotation for deep web query results

Deep Web data is encoded in HTML pages through query-processing, the structural information of database mode is completely lost. In addition, current query-results are only for human browsing. For a higher use value of query-results, they must be understandable and processable for machines. Deep Web semantic annotation aims to add correct semantic to query-results, which enables the computer understand and process these data. This paper proposes a heuristics-based semantic annotation method. According to the characteristic analysis of interface page and result page, this paper summarizes some heuristic information. This method uses this heuristic information in turn to analyze the data to be annotated, for identifying a semantic vocabulary for each data unit. Finally, it performs a semantic annotation experiment on the Deep Web data of various areas in the UIUC standard dataset. The experimental result indicates our approach is highly effective. Compared with Ontology-based annotation (OBA) method, our method has a better performance. 1553-9105/Copyright © 2013 Binary Information Press.

Classification of high frequency micro logs has been completed. A model is proposed in which the direct influence is based on some factors: the micro logger's aggregation, the activity, the amount of microblog comments and the number of fans, and the indirect influence is based on the forward depth and repost time. Official microblog "Chongqing Mobile" and grassroots microblog "Hong Jie" are chosen as examples to illustrate the modeling process of the influence of a single high frequency forward microblog, and the experiment result show that the proposed model is corresponded to the reality. © 2013 IEEE.

The study of pedestrian dynamics is very significant for promoting pedestrian traffic management and optimizing the layout of public facility in comprehensive transportation hubs, markets, theaters etc. In order to simulate and reproduce pedestrian behaviors under attractive incidents, an improved floor field model is proposed in this paper. This improved model is composed of static floor field, dynamic floor field and the new proposed attractive field, which takes into account the attractive degree of incident, view distance of onlooker, and pedestrian's safe psychological distance. The transition probability of pedestrian is decided by the interaction of static floor field, dynamic floor field and attractive field. Besides, pedestrian movement state is divided into three types under attractive incidents: walking, staying, and leaving, which can depict the pedestrian behaviors of gathering, looking and dissipation. The experiment results show that our proposed model can reproduce the onlooking processes and capture the typical characteristics of torus-shaped phenomenon under attractive incidents.

Traffic congestion has been an important problem all over the *** transportation management system(ATMS) that provides information for traffic control and management addresses this *** Algorithm,one of the most classical congestion detection algorithms,has been widely used in ***,it still has some limitations such as difficulty of determining its parameters which are lower bound of uncongested data(LUD),critical occupancy(Ocrit) and critical volume(Vcrit).This paper transforms this problem to be an optimization problem and presents a new method that integrates gradient descent algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm(GPSO),with which parameters of McMaster Algorithm are extracted from the occupancy and volume of the *** it can determine the parameters of McMaster Algorithm more quickly and *** parameters of McMaster algorithm are validated with real data from Yuwu Expressway in *** results show that GPSO can help operators find the best parameters more effectively and make McMaster Algorithm yield a higher accuracy rate and recall rate.

In this paper we present a novel algorithm for moving object detection and segmentation, operating on H.264 bit streams. Compared to more traditional pixel-based approaches, the novelty of the algorithm consists of directly using the motion features embedded into the H.264 bit stream, thereby achieving real time operational capability. This makes the algorithm ready to be installed in any video surveillance system, enabling for better resource allocation and facilitating the deployment of distributed systems. The method we propose measures the statistical disorder of the motion field at the boundary of the moving objects, achieving at the same time detection and segmentation. In order to refine the segmentation, results, the temporal correlation of motion vectors is analyzed. The algorithm has been tested on the traditional videos used to benchmark video compression algorithms, as well as on a subset of sequences from the iLids dataset, to demonstrate its generalization capabilities.
