Intelligent performance creativity is a new research direction of the intersection of technology and art. At present, the cutting-edge technologies such as computer simulation, emotional computing and machine learning have been applied to the evaluation and enhancement of intelligent performance creativity. The application of these technologies has greatly increased the diversity of performance forms and the complexity of performance content. For the traditional stage performance, due to the lack of timely feedback from the audience, it is difficult for the director to enhance the creativity effec-tively. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes concentration level enhancement method (CLEM). The CLEM extracts and analyzes the physiological and emotional characteristics of the audience by collecting the multimodal physiological signal data of the audience. Through the analysis of the features, the concentration information of the audience is obtained and the concentration level (CL) is defined. Based on the physiological and emotional induction mechanism, a performance creativity enhancement strategy is proposed, which enhances the performance creativity in two aspects: " Visual-based" and " Content-based". Through the concentration level enhancement method, compare the audience’s performance attention changes before and after the performance creativity enhancement, select the effective strategies to enhance the performance creativity, and provide the director with quantifiable performance creativity enhancement feedback results. The experimental results show that the CLEM proposed in this paper can effectively induce significant changes in the audience’s emotion, and the selected creative enhancement strategy can significantly improve the audience’s concentration and achieve the purpose of enhancing the creativity of the performance. © 2023, Journal of Network Intelligence.

Chromium atom photolithography gratings are a promising technology for the development of nanoscale length standard substances due to their high accuracy,uniformity,and ***,the inherent difference between the interaction of positive and negative frequency detuning standing wave field and the atoms can cause a difference in the adjacent peak-to-valley heights of the grating in positive and negative frequency detuning chromium atom lithography,which greatly reduces its *** this study,we performed a controlled variable growth simulation using the semi-classical theoretical model and Monte Carlo method with trajectory tracking and ballistic deposition methods to investigate the influence of key experimental parameters on the surface growth process of positive and negative frequency detuning atomic lithography *** established a theoretical model based on simulation results and summarized empirical equations to guide the selection of experimental *** simulations achieved uniform positive and negative frequency detuning atomic lithography gratings with a period of 1/4 of the wavelength corresponding to the atomic transition frequency,and adjacent peak-to-valley heights differing by no more than 2 nm,providing an important theoretical reference for the controllable fabrication of these gratings.

Traceability is the fundamental premise of all metrological activities. The establishment of a traceability chain characterized by a shortened structure, while simultaneously enabling on-site traceability, represents a key trend in the advancement of metrology. This study explores the periodic accuracy and overall uniformity of self-traceable gratings, employing multilayer film gratings with a nominal period of 25.00 nm as the medium. We present a comparative analysis of measurement capabilities in a self-traceable grating calibration system characterized by a ‘top-down’ calibration approach and a Si lattice constant calibration system characterized by a ‘bottom-up’ calibration approach. The results indicate that the values obtained for the multilayer film grating periods, calibrated using the self-traceable grating system, are 24.40 nm with a standard deviation of 0.11 nm. By comparing with the values derived from the Si lattice constant, which yield 24.34 nm with a standard deviation of 0.14 nm, the validity and feasibility of the self-traceable calibration system are confirmed. This system extends and complements existing metrological frameworks, offering a precise pathway for traceability in precision engineering and nanotechnology research.

Spectral imaging combines the advantages of spectroscopy as an analytical tool with the two-dimensional object visualization obtained by optical imaging. At present, spectral imaging systems suffer from severe scale-dependent geometric aberrations. This prevents the simultaneous realization of a wide field of view (FOV) and high resolution. Here we propose an ultra-wide-FOV high-resolution cascaded spectral imaging system (URIS), which captures an ultra-wide-FOV panchromatic image with a folding monocentric lens and obtains high-resolution spectral images after local aberration correction by the spectral imaging sub-channels. The key issue of how the position of the aperture stop affects the illumination uniformity of the sub-channels has been studied, contributing to achieving the spectral images stitching between adjacent sub-channels and improving the performance of the processed spectral image. The URIS is optimally designed with 19 spectral imaging sub-channels to cover a full FOV of about 110°. It achieves an excellent spatial resolution of 0.075 mrad and a high spectral resolution of 4 nm theoretically. An experiment is also demonstrated to verify the wide FOV and the uniformity of sub-channels of URIS, confirming the correctness of the theoretical study. URIS has great advantages in spectral imaging of large macroscopic scenes, inspiring various machine vision applications. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

Cutting path-dependent machinability of SiCp/Al composite under multi-step ultra-precision diamond cutting

Particle-tool interactions,which govern the synergetic deformation of SiC particle reinforced Al matrix composites under mechanical machining,strongly depend on the geometry of particle position residing on cutting *** the present work,we investigate the influence of cutting path on the machinability of a SiCp/Al composite in multi-step ultra-precision diamond cutting by combining finite element simulations with experimental observations and *** consistent with experimentally characterized microstructures,the simulated SiCp/Al composite is considered to be composed of randomly distributed polygonally-shaped SiC particles with a volume fraction of 25 vol%.A multi-step cutting strategy with depths of cut ranging from 2 to 10 lm is adopted to achieve an ultimate depth of cut of 10 *** material parameters and extrinsic cutting conditions utilized in finite element simulations of SiCp/Al cutting are consistent with those used in corresponding *** results reveal different particle-tool interactions and failure modes of SiC particles,as well as their correlations with machining force evolution,residual stress distribution and machined surface topography.A detailed comparison between numerical simulation results and experimental data of multi-step diamond cutting of SiCp/Al composite reveals a substantial impact of the number of cutting steps on particle-tool interactions and machined surface *** findings provide guidelines for achieving high surface finish of SiCp/Al composites by ultra-precision diamond cutting.

Vparrot Optimization Algorithm for Improved Multi-Strategy Fusion for Feature Optimization of Data in Medical and Industrial Field

Feature selection is crucial in enhancing model performance in machine learning, data mining, and pattern recognition. In the medical-industrial domain, data often contains redundant and irrelevant features, impacting model efficiency and generalization. Meta-heuristic algorithms have shown superior performance in addressing complex problems with constraints, making them suitable for feature selection *** study proposes an improved Multi-Strategy Fusion Parrot Optimization algorithm (MIPO) tailored for optimizing feature selection. MIPO integrates four core mechanisms: balanced foraging behavior for pinpointing key features, lens imaging reverse dwell behavior for local search enhancement, vertical and horizontal cross-communication for population co-evolution, and memory-guided behavior for intelligent search direction. A pacifying behavior strategy enhances algorithm stability in complex *** study conducts exhaustive experiments, including ablation studies against mainstream algorithms, to validate MIPO's performance across various dimensions. Using the S/V transfer function, nine binary variants address diverse feature selection challenges. Results on 23 medical-industrial datasets demonstrate MIPO's efficiency and strong generalization *** integrated with KNN, SVM, and RF classifiers, MIPO significantly enhances model accuracy compared to the original parrot algorithm: 55.38%, 35.53%, and 49.59% on average, respectively. The optimal MIPO variant performs well across all classifiers, with average improvement rates of 53.91%, 34.38%, and 49.94%.This research underscores MIPO's broad applicability and robustness in feature selection for medical engineering applications. It provides empirical evidence supporting MIPO as a powerful tool for processing and analyzing complex datasets, thereby advancing feature selection technology in practical settings. © 2024, The Authors. Uncertainty-Inspired Multi-Task Learning in Arbitrary Scenarios of ECG Monitoring

As the scenarios for electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring become increasingly diverse, particularly with the development of wearable ECG, the influence of ambiguous factors in diagnosis has been amplified. Reliable ECG information must be extracted from abundant noises and confusing artifacts. To address this issue, we suggest an uncertainty-inspired model for beat-level diagnosis (UI-Beat). The base architecture of UI-Beat separates heartbeat localization and event diagnosis in two branches to address the problem of heterogeneous data sources. To disentangle the epistemic and aleatoric uncertainty within one stage in a deterministic neural network, we propose a new method derived from uncertainty formulation and realize it by introducing the class-biased transformation. Then the disentangled uncertainty can be utilized to screen out noise and identify ambiguous heartbeat synchronously. The results indicate that UI-Beat can significantly improve the performance of noise detection (from 91.60% to 97.50% for real-world noise detection and from 61.40% to 82.41% for real-world artifact detection). For multi-lead ECG analysis, UI-Beat is approaching the performance upper bound in heartbeat localization (only 15 false positives and 9 false negatives out of the 175,907 heartbeats in the INCART database) and achieving a significant performance improvement in heartbeat classification through uncertainty-based cross-lead fusion compared to single-lead prediction and other state-of-the-art methods (an average improvement of 14.28% for detecting heartbeats of S and 3.37% for detecting heartbeats of V). Considering the characteristic of one-stage ECG analysis within one model, it is suggested that the proposed UI-Beat has the potential to be employed as a general model for arbitrary scenarios of ECG monitoring, with the capacity to remove unusableepisodes, and realize heartbeat-level diagnosis with confidence provided.
