The modern communication and radar systems has been faced with the constraint of size, weight and power (SWaP), and this also goes for their front-end acquisition systems. Currently, the AD9361 RF transceiver has been gradually employed due to its low cost and low power. However, its internal PLL mode can't support the fast frequency hopping because its time-cost calibration period, and also it doesn't support the multi-channel RF synchronization. Therefore, the AD9361 is unsuitable for some applications with severe requirements on phase and frequency hopping speed. In this paper, we proposed a fast frequency hopping technique by employing configurable external oscillator, and proposed a multi-channel phase synchronization technique based on phase pre-calibration. The techniques are validated on a 16-channel AD9361 acquisition system and the result show the design provides a reference for system design under the SWaP constraint.

High reliability is required for many safety-critical and real-time applications. It is difficult to avoid permanent faults during the executing process of tasks. Once such faults are not processed in time, real-time tasks cannot be completed within the specified time, which may lead to catastrophic consequences. In order to deal with the problem of permanent fault tolerance in heterogeneous real-time systems, in this paper, we propose a balanced cost fault-tolerant scheduling algorithm. First, the algorithm uses the task computation time and the average communication time of its successor nodes as the ranking factors when calculating task priority, so that the priority of the task with larger average communication time improved; second, a task cost table is established, and tasks are allocated to appropriate processors according to the values in the task cost table in processor allocation stage. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the system reliability and reduce the completion time.

Therefore, we need a highly mobile early forest fire warning system to ensure the safety of forest resources. To address the challenges of sample utilization efficiency and managing temporal dependencies, this paper proposes an efficient path planning method for mobile robot in dynamic environments based on an improved twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (TD3) algorithm. The proposed method, named PL-TD3, integrates prioritized experience replay (PER) and long short-term memory (LSTM) neural networks, which enhance both sample efficiency and the ability to handle time-series data. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, simulation and practical experiments were designed and conducted. In the simulation experiments, both static and dynamic obstacles were included in the test environment, along with experiments to assess generalization capabilities. The algorithm demonstrated superior performance in terms of both execution time and path efficiency. The practical experiments, based on the assumptions from the simulation tests, further confirmed that PL-TD3 has improved the effectiveness and robustness of path planning for mobile robot in dynamic environments.

Dual polarimetric high resolution range prole (HRRP) is able to provide polarimetric and high resolution scattering characteristics information of radar target, which are very useful for automatic target recognition (ATR). In this paper, a novel feature extraction method, which combines both polarimetric and high resolution information, is proposed for dual polarimetric HRRP sequence based on H/α decomposition. In this method, the H/α decomposition is applied on HRRP sequence by temporal average instead of traditional spatial average, which retains the full resolution of HRRP data and provides efficient polarimetric characteristics information of target scattering centers. This paper also presents a scattering mechanisms classification method using the extracted H and α features, and analyzes the effect of noise and clutter on the two features as well as classification performance. The application and effectiveness of the proposed method are demonstrated via outfield experiments. Results show that scattering mechanisms and structural components of a volumetric target are recognized over high resolution range cells, and the proposed method is able to provide support for HRRP sequence-based radar ATR.

An anti-retransmitted jamming technique is proposed by utilizing phase and frequency-coded waveform techniques. To generate the effective agility waveforms, improved Logistic-Map chaotic sequences generation and optimization algorithm are proposed to obtain sets of orthogonal polyphase codes. The simulated ambiguity function of the agility waveform shows that the agility waveform presents a high resolution in the range domain. The performance of the waveform under different signal-to-interference ratios(SIR) is analyzed. Compared to conventional LFM waveforms, the agility waveform is capable of suppressing the retransmitted jamming effectively, by up to 30dB when the SIR is -5dB.
