This paper presents a novel low complexity TOA estimation method for unknown signal under low SNR condition, especially for inner-pulse modulated signal. In this new method, received signal is firstly pre-processed by multiplying its delayed conjugation to reduce intra-pulse modulation. Then a refined coherent accumulation is applied to achieve a precise TOA estimation result. Simulation results show that this new method can achieve an accurate TOA estimation for unknown signal under low SNR condition.

Many distinguished methods for vascular network detection in fundus images were proposed to help the diagnosis of clinical diseases. The vascular bifurcation sample in OCT projection images is quite limited while it is sufficient in the corresponding fundus images. In this paper, we proposed a transfer learning-based method to detect the vascular bifurcations in OCT projection images using supervised transfer learning method. The samples from fundus images are utilized with transfer learning technique for vascular bifurcations detection in OCT projection images. The experimental results show the accuracy of vascular bifurcations detection can be improved by the proposed method.

The spectral analysis (SPECAN) algorithm is efficient and always used for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data processing. But the azimuth dependence of Doppler rate is neglected in SPECAN algorithm, which results in the defocusing of targets away from the scene center. In order to solve this problem, an improved SPECAN algorithm is proposed. Considering the fact that the region of support in the azimuth frequency domain is different for targets in the same range gate, the algorithm equalizes the Doppler rate by nonlinear chirp scaling (NCS) in the azimuth frequency domain. Moreover, a modified map drift (MD) autofocus method is given to estimate the Doppler rate and its dependence. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by real SAR data.

Aiming at the characteristics of the airborne forwardsquint SAR imaging, a high-performance SAR real-timeprocessing system is established in this paper. Firstly, in order to realize range cell migration correction (RCMC) accurately and range-azimuth decoupling in forwardsquint SAR imaging, a high-precision SAR imaging algorithm is used in this system, namely nolinear chirp scaling(NCS) algorithm. Secondly, the motion of airborne platform is unstable, so the weighted phase gradient autofocus (WPGA) algorithm is used for motion compensation. Finally, a real-time signal processor is designed which is based on the TMS320C6678 multi-core DSPs issued by TI. The processor satisfied the demands of SAR real-time imaging because of its powerful processing performance and high-speed data transmission ability.

In the field of image processing, compared with noisy image, high-quality or clean image usually has a positive impact on the final results, which lead to the emergence of image denoising. Recently, the patch-based methods have attracted considerable interest of researchers, which leverage the self-similarity of the noisy image or information of other relevant images. In this paper, we proposed a novel patch-based method to reduce the noise in optical coherence tomography (OCT) image, which consist of two steps. A combination of internal denoising and external denoising is adopted to select similar patches for each patch in the noisy image. Next, we use low rank technique to denoise the group of the noisy patch and its similar patches. After all patches in a noisy image are denoised, the corresponding clean image is constructed by aggregating all denoised pixels and the first step denoising is accomplished. A new noisy image is constructed and taken as the input of the second step denoising. Experimental results demonstrate that our method achieves better effect and performance, compared with the existing state-of-the-art methods.

A new nonparallel twin support vector machine is presented in this article which combine l 2,1 -norm minimizing on both loss function and regularization which called (TWSVM_21). Our TWSVM_21 is formulated aiming to separate class more efficiently. Different from other nonparallel classifier, such as the presented TBSVM, the classifier we proposed in this paper joint l 2,1 -norm. Experiments on DDSM datasets show the feasibility and effectiveness of our TWSVM_21.
