Event extraction is an important research point in information extraction area, and news event extraction has a greater practical significance. The existing methods of extracting news event, which starts from the time element, is to identify the date sentences hold by Natural Language Processing and extract the event on the date by Text Clustering. However, they only process the news that holds a time-tag and gives up the news that has no accurate date, which easily leads an extraction deviation of significant events and reduces the accuracy of ordering the significant events. In this paper, improvement for this defect is to calculate the similarities between sentences to put part of the non-time-tag sentences into the right date container, thereby the accuracy of ordering the significant event is *** experiments and compared with the existing methods,the accuracy of ordering the significant events in this paper is improved by 14.6%.

The rapid growth of electronic commerce brings convenience to modern life but comes with security risks by various cybercrimes in online payment services. Most existing security methods for fraud detection depend on the static learning paradigm, which trains a model over a static training dataset and deploys the trained model for inference with the frozen model parameters under the i.i.d. assumption. Unfortunately, this paradigm becomes incommensurate with the increasingly complicated and varying fraud patterns due to the untimely and delayed responses in the offline environment. Without sensing the evolution of fraud timely, it is challenging to train and deploy targeted countermeasures. The emerging means of fraud are not only reflected in the openness of their category, but also in the drift of their superimposed risk features. The interweaving of open-category and concept drift accelerates the process of existing methods becoming powerless. In this paper, we propose EvoFD, an online evolving fraud detection framework to enable continual learning to cope with undercurrent surges of evolving fraud. The core idea of EvoFD is to weaken the bias caused by the anchoring effect on the learned information. It learns in an online streaming fashion by using instructive representations as anchors. Specially, we maintain the progressively updatable class anchors and optimize the representation network to embed features and class anchors into a unified normalized space, where the training and predicting can be conducted simultaneously or independently. In the framework, we preserve the balanced replay memory for each class to accumulate knowledge and avoid forgetting. The advantages of our method are validated by extensive experiments over the real-world dataset from a prestigious bank. © 2023 IEEE.

More and more biological evidences have been found that neural networks in the spinal cord, referred to as ＂central pattern generators＂（CPGs）, govern locomotion. CPGs are capable of producing rhythmic movements, such as swimming, flying, and walking, even when isolated from the brain and sensory inputs. If we could build up any models that have similar functions as CPGs, it will be much easier to design better locomotion for robots. In this paper, a self-training environment is designed and through genetic algorithm （GA）, walking trajectories for every foot of AIBO are generated at first. With this acquired walking pattern, AIBO gets its fastest locomotion speed. Then, this walking pattern is taken as a reference to build CPGs with Hopf oscillators. By changing corresponding parameters, the frequencies and the amplitudes of CPGs＇ outputs can be adjusted online. The limit cycle behavior of Hopf oscillators ensures the online adjustment and the walking stability against perturbation as well. This property suggests a strong adaptive capacity to real environments for robots. At last, simulations are carried on in Webots and verify the proposed method.

In this paper, multi-weighted and directed complex dynamic networks (MWDCDNs) under the control of hybrid impulses are analyzed. Two cases are considered. In the first case, impulses can be only applied on one fixed node. In the other case, impulses are applied on different nodes according to whether they are synchronized or de-synchronized in MWDCDNs with unbounded time delay. By limiting impulsive interval and Chebyshev distance between the normalized left eigenvectors (NLEVec) of multiple coupling matrices corresponding to the zero eigenvalue, we obtain some criteria for the synchronization of MWDCNs. Some numerical simulation are also given. © 2021 IEEE

In the classical computation theory, the language of a system features the computational behavior of the system but it does not distinguish the determinism and nondeterminism of actions. However, Milner found that the determinism and nondeterminism affect the interactional behavior of interactive systems and thus the notion of language does not features the interactional behavior. Therefore, Milner proposed the notion of (weak) bisimulation to solve this problem. With the development of internet, more and more interactive systems occur in the world, such as electronic trading system. Security is one of the most important topics for these systems. We find that different security policies can also affect the interactional behavior of a system, which exactly is the reason why a good policy can strengthen the security. In other words, two interactive systems with different security policies are not of an equivalent behavior although their functions (or business processes) are identical. However, the classic (weak) bisimulation theory draws an opposite conclusion that their behaviors are equivalent. The notion of (weak) bisimulation is not suitable for these security-oriented interactive systems since it does not consider a security policy. This paper proposes the concept of secure bisimulation in order to solve the above problem. Copyright © 2016 The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers.

A Biometric-Based User Authentication for Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper proposes a biometric-based user authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks （WSN） when a user wants to access data from sensor nodes, since WSN are often deployed in an unattended environment. The protocol employs biometric keys and resists the threats of stolen verifier, of which many are logged-in users with the same login identity, guessing, replay, and impersonation. The protocol uses only Hash function and saves the computational cost, the communication cost, and the energy cost. In addition, the user＇s password can be changed freely using the proposed protocol.

A novel layered method was proposed to solve the problem of Web services *** this method,services composition problem was formally transformed into the optimal matching problem of every layer,then optimal matching problem was modeled based on the hypergraph theory,and solved by computing the minimal transversals of the ***,two optimization algorithms were designed to discard some useless states at the intermediary steps of the composition *** effectiveness of the composition method was tested by a set of experiments,in addition,an example regarding the travel services composition was also *** experimental results show that this method not only can automatically generate composition tree whose leaf nodes correspond to services composition solutions,but also has better performance on execution time and solution quality by adopting two proposed optimization algorithms.

Traffic flow forecasting is indispensable in modern urban life. Considering the complexity, variability and strong timeliness of traffic flow, traffic flow forecasting is a worth exploring but challenging research field. To achieve better traffic flow forecasting effect, we focus on two critical aspects that assume noteworthy importance: i) the features inside the traffic outflows and inflows. ii) the supplementary information regarding exterior region which is the area outside the grid division regions. To address these challenges, we propose a novel deep learning model Spatial-Temporal Flow Holistic Interaction Graph Convolution Network (STHGCN). In STHGCN, graph convolution based modules are applied through multi-step simulation. An exterior region feature estimation module is designed to estimate the influence of the special exterior region through the characteristics of complete trajectories, which enables a more comprehensive reasoning for traffic flow forecasting in grid division regions. Furthermore, a flow feature fusion integrator and stackable convolution modules are proposed to aggregate the intermediate features extracted from various perspectives, which simulate the constantly-updating and interlinked states of traffic flows through the process of multi-layer feature separation and fusion. We conduct extensive experiments on real-world traffic datasets and our proposed model outperforms all baselines. © 2023 IEEE.

Obstacle avoiding is one of the most complex tasks for autonomous driving systems, which was also ignored by many cutting-edge end-to-end learning-based methods. The difficulties stem from the integrated process of detection and interpretation of environment and obstacles and generation of proper behaviors. We make the use of CARLA, a simulator for autonomous driving research, and collect massive human drivers' reactions to obstacles on road subjecting to given driving commands, i.e. follow, go straight, turn left and turn right for about 6 hours. A behavior-Cloning neural network architecture is proposed with the modified loss that enlarge the effects of errors for steer, which indicates the benefit to high an accuracy. We found the data augmentation of the image is crucial to the training of the proposed network. And a reasonable limit allows avoiding unexpected stop. The experiments demonstrate 3 obstacle avoidance cases: for the same type as the training dataset, other automobile and two-wheeled vehicles. Finally, the CARLA benchmark is also tested. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.

In the initialization of the traditional semi-supervised k-means, the mean of some labeled data belonging to one same class was regarded as one initial center and the number of the initial centers is equal to the number of clusters. However, this initialization method using a small amount of labeled data also called seeds which are not appropriate for the semi-supervised k-harmonic means clustering insensitive to the initial centers. In this paper, a novel semi-supervised k-harmonic means clustering is proposed. Some seeds with one same class are divided into several groups and the mean of all data is viewed as one initial center in every group. Therefore, the number of the initial centers is more than the number of clusters in the new method. To investigate the effectiveness of the approach, several experiments are done on three datasets. Experimental results show that the presented method can improve the clustering performance compared to other traditional semi-supervised clustering algorithms. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
