In order to apply our high efficiency fibre-channel token-routing network (shortened as FC-TR network) to the field of materials simulation research, a new MPI parallel computing environment is proposed and designed, and independently developed a parallel programming environment FC-TR-MPI based on FC-TR network. In FC-TR-MPI, a new method was applied to point-to-point communication that the network communications between processes in the same computing node were changed into memory operations;moreover, according to the underlying software and hardware features of FC-TR network, new algorithms were proposed to optimize the communication performance of some collective communications. Experimental results show that, compared with ScaMPI parallel programming environment, FC-TR-MPI has a higher parallel efficiency and speedup.

Online payment fraud detection relies on a credible characterization of individual behaviors. Existing individual behavior profiling methods have three problems in credibility. Firstly, they solely regard users as individuals to model and fail to credibly characterize the whole behavior patterns of transactions. Secondly, they cannot make full use of the general information among similar individuals due to the heterogeneity of transaction attributes. Thirdly, they are not capable of utilizing the label information of transactions credibly. Faced with these challenges, we propose a credible method for individual behavior profiling that consists of two steps. The first step is the construction of the credible individual behavior profiling framework. To begin with, the concept of individuals is generalized and the credible transaction description is given. Afterwards, based on the co-occurrence information of transaction attributes, the credible behavior condition is defined to set a limit to individual behavior patterns. The second step is the implementation of the framework. For this purpose, the original fraud detection problem is transformed into a pseudo-recommender system problem with a co-occurrence mapping process. In order to guarantee the credible behavior constraint, a credible recommendation algorithm is designed to collaboratively restore both the ranking and rating information of the pseudo-rating matrices. Besides, an embedding based approach is adopted to parameterize the proposed model. Experiments on an online payment transaction dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method. © 2021 ACM.

Traffic forecasting plays a crucial role in intelligent transportation systems and finds application in various domains. Accurate traffic forecasting remains challenging due to the time-varying correlations within the data and the heterogeneous correlations between regions. Although various dynamic spatial-temporal graph models have been proposed to address these challenges in recent years, most of them are burdened by high computation costs and not intuitive to understand. In this paper, we propose a spatial-temporal graph model, Spatial-Temporal Dynamic Graph Diffusion Convolutional Network (SDGDN) that provides an effective and efficient approach to traffic forecasting. From the perspective of traffic flow transition probabilities, SDGDN learns dynamic graph structures to capture the time-varying traffic transition relationships. Besides dynamic graph structures, static node features are employed in diffusion convolution to better capture heterogeneous regional features. Furthermore, we utilize temporal encoding and also generate varying graphs in each stacked layer to enhance the forecasting performance. Experiments results on five real-world datasets demonstrate that SDGDN outperforms most baseline models in terms of both performance and computation efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

Security-aware Signal Packing Algorithm for CAN-based Automotive Cyber-physical systems

Network and software integration pose severe challenges in cyber-security for controller area network (CAN)-based automotive cyber-physical system (ACPS), therefore we employ message authentication code (MAC) to defend CAN against masquerade attack, but the consequent bandwidth overhead makes it a necessity to find the tradeoff among security, real-time and bandwidth utilization for signal packing problem (SPP) of CAN. A mixed-security signal model is firstly proposed to formally describe the properties and requirements on security and real-time for signals, and then a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) formulation of SPP security-aware signal packing (SASP) is implemented to solve the tradeoff problem, where the bandwidth utilization is improved and the requirements in both security and real-time are met. Experiments based on both society of automotive engineers (SAE) standard signal set and simulated signal set showed the effectiveness of SASP by comparing with the state-of-the-art algorithm. © 2014 Chinese Association of Automation.

Dynamic Walking of AIBO with Hopf Oscillators

More and more biological evidences have been found that neural networks in the spinal cord, referred to as ＂central pattern generators＂（CPGs）, govern locomotion. CPGs are capable of producing rhythmic movements, such as swimming, flying, and walking, even when isolated from the brain and sensory inputs. If we could build up any models that have similar functions as CPGs, it will be much easier to design better locomotion for robots. In this paper, a self-training environment is designed and through genetic algorithm （GA）, walking trajectories for every foot of AIBO are generated at first. With this acquired walking pattern, AIBO gets its fastest locomotion speed. Then, this walking pattern is taken as a reference to build CPGs with Hopf oscillators. By changing corresponding parameters, the frequencies and the amplitudes of CPGs＇ outputs can be adjusted online. The limit cycle behavior of Hopf oscillators ensures the online adjustment and the walking stability against perturbation as well. This property suggests a strong adaptive capacity to real environments for robots. At last, simulations are carried on in Webots and verify the proposed method.

A Biometric-Based User Authentication for Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper proposes a biometric-based user authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks （WSN） when a user wants to access data from sensor nodes, since WSN are often deployed in an unattended environment. The protocol employs biometric keys and resists the threats of stolen verifier, of which many are logged-in users with the same login identity, guessing, replay, and impersonation. The protocol uses only Hash function and saves the computational cost, the communication cost, and the energy cost. In addition, the user＇s password can be changed freely using the proposed protocol.

A novel layered method was proposed to solve the problem of Web services *** this method,services composition problem was formally transformed into the optimal matching problem of every layer,then optimal matching problem was modeled based on the hypergraph theory,and solved by computing the minimal transversals of the ***,two optimization algorithms were designed to discard some useless states at the intermediary steps of the composition *** effectiveness of the composition method was tested by a set of experiments,in addition,an example regarding the travel services composition was also *** experimental results show that this method not only can automatically generate composition tree whose leaf nodes correspond to services composition solutions,but also has better performance on execution time and solution quality by adopting two proposed optimization algorithms.

PFV2: Packet fragmentation with variable size and vigorous mapping in time-sensitive networking

With the rapid advancement of intelligent automobiles, the ever-growing communication data put forward high bandwidth and low latency requirements. To meet these requirements, automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) widely adopt domain-centralized Electrical/Electronic (E/E) architecture. In this architecture, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) is expected to serve as the backbone network because of its high bandwidth and deterministic communication. TSN uses the Gate Control List (GCL) to divide its time length into multiple time slots, and the time intervals of these time slots are non-uniform (equal or unequal). Different flows have varying requirements for time slot sizes. To enhance the acceptance ratio of Time-Triggered (TT) flows through GCL time slot allocation, packet fragmentation (i.e., flow fragmentation) is introduced into TSN in the recent study. The state-of-the-art packet fragmentation solution divides one un-schedulable TT flow into multiple equal-sized packets (i.e., equal-sized time slots). In other words, these fixed-size packets are difficult to be mapped into the time slots with different sizes. This study develops a Packet Fragmentation with Variable-size and Vigorous-mapping (PFV2) technique based on the following three innovations: (1) we implement variable-size packet fragmentation, which iteratively divides the un-schedulable TT flow into smaller packets and then dynamically reschedules these packets; (2) we implement the vigorous mapping solution from packets to time slots by deeply searching for available time slots within the flow’s deadline; and (3) we verify PFV2 based on the LS1028A with Cortex-A72 (i.e., the NXP automotive-grade development board). PFV2 improves the acceptance ratio by up to 20.18% and bandwidth utilization by up to 7.024% compared with the state-of-the-art solution. Obstacle avoiding is one of the most complex tasks for autonomous driving systems, which was also ignored by many cutting-edge end-to-end learning-based methods. The difficulties stem from the integrated process of detection and interpretation of environment and obstacles and generation of proper behaviors. We make the use of CARLA, a simulator for autonomous driving research, and collect massive human drivers' reactions to obstacles on road subjecting to given driving commands, i.e. follow, go straight, turn left and turn right for about 6 hours. A behavior-Cloning neural network architecture is proposed with the modified loss that enlarge the effects of errors for steer, which indicates the benefit to high an accuracy. We found the data augmentation of the image is crucial to the training of the proposed network. And a reasonable limit allows avoiding unexpected stop. The experiments demonstrate 3 obstacle avoidance cases: for the same type as the training dataset, other automobile and two-wheeled vehicles. Finally, the CARLA benchmark is also tested. © 2019 Association for computing Machinery.

Traffic flow forecasting is indispensable in modern urban life. Considering the complexity, variability and strong timeliness of traffic flow, traffic flow forecasting is a worth exploring but challenging research field. To achieve better traffic flow forecasting effect, we focus on two critical aspects that assume noteworthy importance: i) the features inside the traffic outflows and inflows. ii) the supplementary information regarding exterior region which is the area outside the grid division regions. To address these challenges, we propose a novel deep learning model Spatial-Temporal Flow Holistic Interaction Graph Convolution Network (STHGCN). In STHGCN, graph convolution based modules are applied through multi-step simulation. An exterior region feature estimation module is designed to estimate the influence of the special exterior region through the characteristics of complete trajectories, which enables a more comprehensive reasoning for traffic flow forecasting in grid division regions. Furthermore, a flow feature fusion integrator and stackable convolution modules are proposed to aggregate the intermediate features extracted from various perspectives, which simulate the constantly-updating and interlinked states of traffic flows through the process of multi-layer feature separation and fusion. We conduct extensive experiments on real-world traffic datasets and our proposed model outperforms all baselines. © 2023 IEEE.
