The real-time mapping of street atmospheric pollution concentration does play an important role because its knowledge is crucial for strategy-makers to make more effective control strategies to decrease urban atmospheric pollution and improving urban atmospheric environment. Combining the conventional methods (e.g. the dispersion model prediction and neural network prediction) and mobile measurement technology (e.g. the GMAP vehicle) which their characteristics are complementary, a linear model is proposed and then a fusion approach called weighting filter derived from the concept of Kalman filter. Moreover, a self-tuning regulator is introduced to adjust the parameters of filter for the changing noise statistical characteristics over time which mainly caused by season switch. The performances of asymptotic stability and asymptotic optimality are both mathematically proven. Finally a simulation test is conducted to verify this approach.

Circular Synthetic Aperture Radar(CSAR) has become a hotspot with its characteristic of elevation plane resolution and all-aspect observing ability. Digital elevation model (DEM) extraction in urban arears by using single-pass CSAR data without requiring additional knowledge is a subject of interest. The target, whose real height is not equal to the reference imaging height will project to different locations after imaging in different sub-aperture. In this paper, the quantitative relationship between offset of imaging points and height difference is deduced theoretically in the real scene, where the airborne SAR platform trajectory is not a standard circle. DEM of an area is presented using the data acquired by the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS). Compared with the DEM provided by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) with 1m absolute height error, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

Microwave photonic (MWP) SAR technology can realize large bandwidth even across multiple wavebands and therefore improves the imaging resolution significantly. However, when targets are illuminated by the electromagnetic wave with such an across-band bandwidth, their scattering characteristics will change with signal frequency, which is not taken into consideration for conventional SAR imaging. In this paper, in order to investigate the resolution and optimize the imaging of MWP SAR, we first design several typical structures and conduct electromagnetic simulations on them, from which, we obtain the variation of scattering characteristics within an across-band bandwidth. Then, we use different focusing approaches for one-dimensional imaging processing and adopt different evaluation indicators to evaluate the performance of these methods comprehensively. Finally, with detailed analysis, we give suggestions on the selection of compression methods for different structures at different SNRs.
