Nonleaky and accelerated population transfer in a transmon qutrit

We propose a theoretical scheme for implementing nonleaky and accelerated population transfer with a transmon qutrit. For a transmon-regime artificial atom with weak level anharmonicity, the leakage effects on the target population transfer are considerable. Allowed by the level-transition rule, a two-photon resonant interaction can be obtained between the qutrit and microwave drivings. In the regime of large detuning, by adopting the technique of invariant-based inverse engineering, the population transfer with no leakage errors can be sped up drastically when compared with the adiabatic operation. Moreover, the accelerated operation is highly robust against decoherence effects. Thanks to these distinctive advantages, the proposed protocol could offer a promising avenue to optimal quantum operations on transmon artificial atoms.

We have investigated the dynamics of a protomer coupled to two different decoherent environments,each in a configuration called the spin star *** the quantum mechanics method,in different situations,we obtain the analytical expressions for the transition probability in the protomer *** thermal equilibrium,there exist well-defined ranges of parameters for which decoherent interaction between the protomer and the environment assists energy transfer in the protomer system,while in pure quantum mechanics states,the decoherent interaction assists energy transfer for an eigenstate but against energy transfer for quantum mechanics *** particular,we also find that the dimerization of two bacteriochlorophylls in protomer can always assist energy transfer in certain parameter range,and in the appropriate spin bath energy,the efficiency of energy transport is sensitively depended on the temperature of environments.

A dessin is an embedding of connected bipartite graph into an oriented closed surface. A dessin is regular if its group of colour- and orientation-preserving automorphisms acts transitively on the edges. In the present paper regular dessins with a nilpotent automorphism group are investigated, and attention are paid on those with the highest level of external symmetry. Undirected graphs: Is the shift-enabled condition trivial or necessary?

It has recently been shown that, contrary to the wide belief that a shift-enabled condition (necessary for any shift-invariant filter to be representable by a graph shift matrix) can be ignored because any non-shift-enabled matrix can be converted to a shift-enabled matrix, such a conversion in general may not hold for a directed graph with non-symmetric shift matrix. This letter extends this prior work, focusing on undirected graphs where the shift matrix is generally symmetric. We show that while, in this case, the shift matrix can be converted to satisfy the original shift-enabled condition, the converted matrix is not associated with the original graph, that is, it does not capture anymore the structure of the graph signal. We show via a counterexample, that a non-shift-enabled matrix cannot be converted to a shift-enabled one and still maintain the topological structure of the underlying graph, which is necessary to facilitate localized signal processing. The energy recycle circuit fed back the energy to batteries is one of the important means to extend the travel distance of action vehicle for an electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle by driven batteries. In order to achieve energy recycle must be use, such as the motor characteristics, the principle of motor controller and design of circuit to reach the energy recycle of motor in action vehicles. Focus on the 24 V 8A 150W servo motor and its shaft coupling with a condition by magnetic brake to simulate as the analog load and adjust the brake to 0.2 Newton-meter. According to the characteristics of the motor, the principle of the motor controller and the design and energy recovery of the circuit system for discussion, that include drive control circuit of motor and based on the former to design the circuit of energy recycle circuit of motor and to feed back the energy to the driving batteries. By mean of the architecture of energy recycle circuit to test the power recovery which divide into without load and without energy collector, without load and with energy collector, with load and without energy collector and with load and energy collector four cases under these conditions to investigate the power recovery analysis. For the statistics of energy, the average energy recovery power percentage by without load and without energy collector is 9.7%, the average energy recovery power percentage by without load and with energy collector is 20.5%, the average energy recovery power percentage by with load and without energy collector is 1.82%, and the average energy recovery power percentage by with load and with energy collector is 3.1%. © 2017

Building Extraction from High-Resolution Remotely Sensed Imagery Based on Multi-subgraph Matching

Building extraction is still a difficult issue in the field of remote sensing. In order to extract the buildings with similar structures efficiently, an algorithm based on multi-subgraph matching is proposed using only the panchromatic high-resolution remotely sensed imagery (RSI). Firstly, scale-invariant feature transform feature is detected within both RSI and building template, and the corresponding graphs are constructed. Then, binary matching rules are defined to reconstruct the graphs to reduce the complexity. At last, according to the homogeneity of the building top, disconnected subgraphs are isolated from the reconstructed graphs. To improve the algorithm accuracy, the matched subgraphs are optimized on the basis of the differences in the structure and size. For verifying the validity of the proposed method, nine representatives are chosen from GF-2 images covering Guangzhou, China. Experimental results show that the precision and recall of the proposed method are 97.73% and 87.16%, respectively, and its overall performance F1 is higher than the three other similar methods.

An approach to building area extraction from high-resolution remote sensing imagery is proposed based on the local gradient orientation density function (LGODF) and the bimodal density function (BDF). Firstly, the LGODF is calculated by moving the window of 35 × 35 based on the gradient magnitude and the gradient direction of each pixel in the image. Then, the BDF is obtained by multiplying the movable bimodal Gaussian mixture function and LGODF in each window. Finally, peaks with difference of 90° are searched for in the BDF, and the central point of the corresponding windows are determined as building pixels. For the validity of the proposed method, seven representative sub-images from PLEIADES images covering Shenzhen China are selected. Experimental results reveal that the precision achieve 94.08% and the recall up to 96.70%.

A dessin is a 2-cell embedding of a connected 2-coloured bipartite graph into an orientable closed surface. A dessin is regular if its group of orientation- A nd colour-preserving automorphisms acts regularly on the edges. In this paper we study regular dessins whose underlying graph is a complete bipartite graph Km,n, called (m, n)-complete regular dessins. The purpose is to establish a rather surprising cor-respondence between (m, n)-complete regular dessins and pairs of skew-morphisms of cyclic groups. A skew-morphism of a finite group A is a bijection φ: A → A that satisfies the identity φ(xy) = φ(x)φπ(x)(y) for some function π : A → Z and fixes the neutral element of A. We show that every (m, n)-complete regular dessin D determines a pair of reciprocal skew-morphisms of the cyclic groups Zn and Zm. Conversely, D can be reconstructed from such a reciprocal pair. As a consequence, we prove that complete regular dessins, exact bicyclic groups with a distinguished pair of generators, and pairs of reciprocal skew-morphisms of cyclic groups are all in one-to-one correspondence. Finally, we apply the main result to determining all pairs of integers m and n for which there exists, up to interchange of colours, exactly one (m, n)-complete regular dessin. We show that the latter occurs precisely when every group expressible as a product of cyclic groups of order m and n is abelian, which eventually comes down to the condition gcd(m, φ(n)) = gcd(φ(m), n) = 1, where φ is Euler's totient function.05E18 (primary), 20B25, 57M15 (secondary) Copyright © 2018, The Authors. Interaction Behaviours Between Solitons and Cnoidal Periodic Waves for (2＋1)-Dimensional Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada Equation

The consistent tanh expansion(CTE) method is employed to the(2+1)-dimensional Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada(CDGKS) equation. The interaction solutions between solitons and the cnoidal periodic waves are explicitly obtained. Concretely, we discuss a special kind of interaction solution in the form of tanh functions and Jacobian elliptic functions in both analytical and graphical ways. The results show that the profiles of the soliton-cnoidal periodic wave interaction solutions can be designed by choosing different values of wave parameters.
