A growing concern among the manufacturers who are actively involved in Information Technology outsourcing is post-contract management and the ensuing development of what many practitioners have coined the 'outsourcing partnership'. Over the past few decades, information technology outsourcing has become a widely used and researched means for manufacturers to enhance their performance. Increasing attention has been paid to building successful partnerships in information systems outsourcing. This study employs strategic social positioning, customer participation, customer orientation, and communication culture to develop research model. The quantitative method will be used to validate the research model and test hypotheses developed. This study uses survey method to collect data, and analysis of the reliability, validity and test the proposed hypotheses by Smart Partial Least Squares. The purpose of this study is to use above four factors to produce value co-creation between outsourcing vendors and manufacturers. The final aim is for the future collaboration. This combination will allow manufacturers and information technology outsourcing vendors to increase their value co-creations in the fields of these factors. © 2017 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.

In recent years, the advancement of deep learning technology and convolutional neural networks has presented novel solutions for the swift and precise detection of crop diseases. To address issues such as low segmentation accuracy in plant leaf images amidst complex backgrounds, inadequacies in recognition and detection models, insufficient data sets, and sluggish training speed, we propose a method for potato leaf image segmentation and recognition based on an enhanced DeeplabV3+ network. Specifically, we substitute the model encoder's backbone feature extraction network with MobileNetV2 to significantly reduce computational requirements while enhancing calculation speed. Then, the attention mechanism module was incorporated into the backbone feature extraction network and decoder to further enhance the model's edge recognition capability and improve its segmentation accuracy. Simultaneously, this study devised a classification model to achieve potato leaf disease segmentation and detection amidst complex backgrounds. In the initial stage, an enhanced DeeplabV3+ was employed for segmenting potato leaves in intricate environments. Subsequently, ResNet101, ResNet50, and ShuffleNetV2 classification models were utilized in the second stage for accurately classifying potato leaves. Finally, the two-stage model was integrated to effectively segment and detect potato leaf diseases amidst intricate backgrounds. The experimental findings demonstrate that the enhanced DeeplabV3+ segmentation model achieves a remarkable Mean Intersection over Union (MIoU) of 82.6%, an impressive Average Pixel Accuracy (MPA) of 90.65%, and a commendable accuracy rate of 94.72% for the second stage classification model. In conclusion, this approach presents a novel research avenue for accurately segmenting and detecting potato leaf diseases in challenging background scenarios, thereby contributing to advancements in this field. © 2024 ACM.

Formal concept analysis is a key tool in data analysis and knowledge representation and a specific method for granular computing. Object granules constitute the basic granular knowledge in a concept lattice. Three-way decision is a reasonable approach to extracting decision rules. This study employs the principle of three-way decision to divide all the object granules of a formal context into three parts: positive, negative and boundary regions, then two groups of certainty decision rules are extracted from the positive region and the negative region, and one group of possibility decision rules is induced from the boundary region. The notion of attribute reduction keeping the performance of the decision rules unchanged are proposed. An approach for computing attribute reducts is put forward by utilizing the discernibility matrix and discernibility function. Some examples are taken to explain or show the relevant conclusions and prove the feasibility of the reduction method. © 2023 IEEE.

Single image dehazing is to remove haze from degraded images and recover clean scenes. The researches of dehazing have academic significance and application value. In this paper, we design a Multi-Pyramid Dehazing Network (MPDN) with Residue Channel Enhancement (RCE). A RCE module was designed to help the network model remove a large amount of homogeneous haze. To further improve the effect of eliminating heterogeneous haze, the Pyramid Feature Extraction (PFE) module is used. The two modules complement each other to achieve excellent haze removal effect. Finally, we do a lot of experiments to verify the model, and compare it with the state-of-the-art (SOTA) method on the benchmark datasets. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

The development of intelligent transportation is of great significance to improving the effectiveness and safety of traffic. A new two-lane lattice hydrodynamics model (LHM) is proposed by simultaneously considering the effects of lane-changing and mixed traffic of connected and non-connected vehicles (CNVs). Using linear analysis, the stability conditions are derived, which indicates that lane-changing has a positive impact on traffic stability. In addition, the numerical simulation results provide support for theoretical analysis and confirm the correctness. © 2023 SPIE.

With the increasing exploitation of marine resources, there is worldwide concern about the marine environment. It is a hot topic how to assert the marine pollution. Concentrating on dissolved oxygen and suspended solids in offshore water of yellow river mouth, this paper establishes a model of marine pollution assessment by a compositional interval-valued fuzzy relation with Bandler-Kohout subproduct. And a real-life example is shown for the sake of illustrating the efficiency of our proposed model. © 2023 SPIE.

Many radio frequency (RF) channels were frequently needed for massive MIMO systems, which significantly raised hardware prices. Therefore, the significance of RF switch has substantially expanded with the ongoing advancement of massive MIMO technology. In this paper, a 5 MHz-6 GHz SP16T RF high-speed switch design for a time-division multiplexing (TDM) radio sounder is presented, which can be further cascaded for a TDM massive MIMO channel sounder. The measured insertion loss, isolation and return Loss are frequency-dependent and vary between [-3.1, -4.6] dB, [-30, -100] dB and [-15, -60] dB, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we tackle the remote sensing semantic segmentation task by capturing feature information across multiple scales, all channels, and global locations. Different from previous works that simply use U-net to extract multi-scale features, we further improve U-net and propose a Multi-Feature Extraction Network (MFE-Unet). Specifically, we propose the MFE module, which uses both dilated convolution module and two attention modules. Dilated convolution is used to enhance U-net's ability to represent multi-scale information. The two attention modules refer to the channel attention module and the pixel attention module. Channel attention maps all channels centrally, assigns weights uniformly, and adaptively adjusts the importance of each channel's information. Pixel attention treats features at each location as the same individual, and similar features will be associated together to further improve feature representation. We conducted multiple sets of experiments on the "AI+"remote sensing image dataset. Experiments show that our network is sufficient against several advanced models. © 2022 IEEE.

Ship target feature extraction plays an important role in ship recognition and tracking based on video surveillance. However, the current feature extraction of ship targets based on video surveillance does not have a complete summary, so this article reviews these methods. This article summarizes the main ship target feature extraction methods used in ship target recognition and tracking in different application environments, including traditional artificial ship feature extraction and automated learning ship feature extraction. It focuses on the core ideas, advantages and disadvantages of the representative methods in each type of problem, and discusses the current problems in the feature extraction of ship targets and the future development of feature extraction technology. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

data augmentation is a common strategy to improve the performance of computer vision tasks. Regrettably, current data augmentation methods are often designed for images in RGB format and few are studied for remote sensing images. In this paper, we find that the way in which remote sensing data are obtained provides a realistic possibility for cropping images to create new ones. Based on our analyses, we propose RSI-Mix for Sentinel-2 satellite image classification. RSI-Mix is designed to cut and paste two remote sensing images of the same category according to random masks. The key inspiration of RSI-Mix is that the classification of remote sensing images is not strictly based on image texture but based on band features. The information fusion of the same area from different sources is beneficial to make an area contain more band features. Experiments show that the model with RSI-Mix is more stable and has higher performance. © 2022 IEEE.
