Featured with high thermal decomposition temperature and layered structure,violet phosphorus(VP)offers an unparalleled stable allotrope of phosphorus to demonstrate the optoelectronic device and photonics elements with high performance at the ***,we report few-layer and hundreds of nanometer-sized VP with robust stability in different solvents and ambient conditions by ultrasound-assisted liquid phase exfoliation *** the first time,the ultrafast carrier dynamics and thirdorder nonlinear optical response of VP were ***-picosecond timescale ultrafast carrier dynamic and ultrafast nonlinear saturable absorption of VP were *** findings demonstrated that VP possessed a promising potential for use in ultrafast nonlinear photonic applications such as saturable absorbers and optical switches.

This paper investigates the fixed-time synchronization problem of complex networks.A novel switching controller is proposed to solve the *** designed controller in this paper only needs intermittently to pin a few of nodes,which could reduce the control time and save the system’s ***,compared with the existing control methods for the fixed-time synchronization,the novel controller does not use the sign function,which could avoid the chattering *** constructing a Lyapunov function and designing a comparison system,some sufficient conditions are obtained to achieve the fixed-time ***,the numerical simulations could verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control approaches.

Few existing online car-hailing scheduling algorithms simultaneously take into consideration benefits and fairness. In this paper, a weighted sum of platform profit, driver income and passenger waiting time was used as the objective function of the assignment model. The improved Hungarian algorithm was employed to solve the problem. The imbalanced assignment problem was converted into a standard assignment problem by a virtual person (car) method. The interests of the platform, driver, and passenger were balanced through weight coefficients. Three groups of experiments have verified that compared with the global search algorithm and the greedy algorithm, the performance of the results obtained by the presented algorithm has a great improvement, and the solution time complexity is lower than the global search algorithm. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Aiming at the difficulty in obtaining a complete Bayesian network (BN) structure directly through search-scoring algorithms, authors attempted to incorporate expert judgment and historical data to construct an interpretive structural model with an ISM-K2 algorithm for evaluating vaccination effectiveness (VE). By analyzing the influenza vaccine data provided by hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, risk factors influencing VE in each link in the process of "Transportation—Storage—Distribution—Inoculation" were systematically investigated. Subsequently, an evaluation index system of VE and an ISM-K2 BN model were developed. Findings include: (1) The comprehensive quality of the staff handling vaccines has a significant impact on VE;(2) Predictive inference and diagnostic reasoning through the ISM-K2 BN model are stable, effective, and highly interpretable, and consequently, the post-production supervision of vaccines is enhanced. The study provides a theoretical basis for evaluating VE and a scientific tool for tracking the responsibility of adverse events of ineffective vaccines, which has the value of promotion in improving VE and reducing the transmission rate of infectious diseases. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

High rectifying performance of heterojunctions with interface between armchair C3N nanoribbons with and without edge H-passivation

Two-dimensional polyaniline with C3N stoichiometry, is a newly fabricated layered material that has been expected to possess fascinating electronic, thermal, mechanical and chemical properties. The nature of its counterpart nano-ribbons/structures offering even more tunability in property because of the unique quantum confinement and edge effect, however, has not been revealed sufficiently. Here, using the first-principles calculation based on density functional theory and nonequilibrium Green's function technique, we first perform a study on the electron band structure of armchair C3N nanoribbons (AC3NNRs) without and with H-passivation. The calculated results show that the pristine AC3NNRs are metal, while the H-passivated ones are either direct or indirect band gap semiconductors depending on the detailed edge atomic configurations. Then we propose a lateral planar homogenous junction with an interface between the pristine and H-passivated AC3NNRs, in which forms a Schottky-like barrier. Interestingly, our further transport calculation demonstrates that this AC3NNRsbased heterojunction exhibits a good rectification behavior. In specification, the average rectification ratio (RR) can reach up to 103 in the bias regime from 0.2 to 0.4 V. Particularly, extending the length of semiconductor part in the heterojunction leads to the decrease of the current through the junction, but the RR can be enlarged obviously. The average RR increases to the order of 104 in the bias from 0.25 to 0.40 V, with the boosted maximum up to 105 at 0.35 V. The findings of this work may be serviceable for the design of functional nanodevices based on AC3NNRs in the future. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, we study the quasi-stationary behavior of the one-dimensional diffusion process with a regular or exit boundary at 0 and an entrance boundary at ∞. By using the Doob’s h-transform, we show that the conditional distribution of the process converges to its unique quasi-stationary distribution exponentially fast in the total variation norm, uniformly with respect to the initial distribution. Sharp estimate of electric field from a conductive rod and application in EIT

We are concerned with the quantitative study of the electric field perturbation due to the presence of an inhomogeneous conductive rod embedded in a homogenous conductivity. We sharply quantify the dependence of the perturbed electric field on the geometry of the conductive rod. In particular, we accurately characterise the localisation of the gradient field (i.e. the electric current) near the boundary of the rod where the curvature is sufficiently large. We develop layer-potential techniques in deriving the quantitative estimates and the major difficulty comes from the anisotropic geometry of the rod. The result complements and sharpens several existing studies in the literature. It also generates an interesting application in EIT (electrical impedance tomography) in determining the conductive rod by a single measurement, which is also known as the Calderón’s inverse inclusion problem in the literature.
