Text coherence analysis is an important and challenging task that is essential for subtasks such as automatic summarisation, viewpoint extraction and machine translation in natural language processing (NLP). A large body of previous work has used linguistic features such as lexical, syntactic and entity features to capture relatively shallow coherence features, while ignoring deeper logically relevant features hidden in the text. We propose an end-to-end English text coherence analysis model (RGCM for short) that incorporates RST and graph convolutional neural networks (GCN). The intra- and inter-sentence logical relations of the input text are first mapped onto a discourse relationship tree, and then transformed into an RST-dependent context graph by certain pruning strategies. Subsequently, we propose a GCN-based text coherence assessment framework to capture intra- and inter-sentence interactions to assess text coherence. We conducted experiments on two different coherence assessment datasets and achieved accuracy rates of 95.5% and 97.8% respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Knowledge Tracing (KT), a technique for modeling students' knowledge levels and predicting their future question-answering performance based on their historical answer data, is one of the key research areas to strengthen the ability of personalized education. In recent years, memory networks have received more and more attention and application in the field of KT, however, the current KT model based on memory networks ignores the effect of students' learning sequence on the level of forgetting, and fails to model the forgetting behavior of students in the process of learning by using the characteristics of time intervals in the interaction data. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a dynamic student classification with forgetting mechanisms on memory networks model (DSCFMN), which enhance the existing model by dynamically classifying students similar to their learning abilities at specified time intervals, incorporating forgetting factors and introducing a weight decay strategy. Experiments show that our model performs well on online education datasets, and the proposed model achieves better prediction results than existing knowledge tracking methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In sentence similarity research methods, sentence similarity is often calculated from semantic aspects, however, the influence of other features is ignored. For example, the influence of sentence syntactic structure and word order on sentence similarity is not considered. Therefore, This paper proposes a method to measure the degree of similarity between sentences based on a multi-feature fusion of semantics, syntactic similarity and word order similarity, respectively. For the aspect of semantic similarity, in this paper, we first preprocess the sentence and obtain the word vectors, and then obtains sentence vector features through neural networks, so as to calculate the sentence semantic similarity;Finally, for the aspect of word order similarity, word order is considered as the auxiliary feature information to calculate sentence similarity since word order has a smaller effect on sentence similarity compared to the above information. The experimental results show that the proposed model has an accuracy of 77.4 % and an F1 value of 84.3% on the MRPC dataset. © 2023 IEEE.

Facing the pressure of the extremely inflated network information and data overload surplus, it is extremely important to locate "valuable information" efficiently and accurately. Text summarization technology in the field of Natural Language processing (NLP) is an effective means to analyze and process network information. In this paper, we propose an abstractive text summarization model based on bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) vectorization and bidirectional decoding. The BERT is adopted to obtain a more global vector representation, which helps the subsequent encoder and decoder to fuse the full-text information to generate a summary with high generality. The decoding phase adopts a bidirectional decoding structure and combines the attention mechanism to maintain the bilateral decoding result to generate summaries. The bidirectional decoding structure can be fine-tuned according to the bidirectional results, which can overcome the tilt problem of the unidirectional structure, and the generated summaries are more consistent. The experimental results on the NLPCC2017 text summarization dataset show that the summaries generated by our model have the higher coherence at the word and sentence level, and the stronger generalization of the full text. © 2023 SPIE.

The auto focusing process is affected by the amount of image content, resulting in the focus curve not meeting the characteristics of the ideal focus curve. In this paper, aiming at the problem that the traditional autofocus cannot find the focal plane successfully in the case of microscopic sparse content, the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of 12 traditional focus evaluation functions are carried out. The experimental results show that the F Tenengrad function is suitable for the optimal focus evaluation function of sparse microscopic images. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The integration of large education and artificial intelligence technologies is gradually deepening, and how to provide personalized user profiling services for learners is an important research problem. In response to the long-term dependency problem and lack of learning features of today's deep knowledge tracking models, a deep knowledge tracking model (FSA-MuLSTM) based on forgetting features and the self-attentiveness mechanism is proposed. Firstly, the model combines the learner's historical learning interaction tuple sequences with learning times and memory residuals to obtain the input vector based on the LSTM;secondly, the correlation weights between tuples are captured using the self-attention mechanism;finally, the deep information between tuple sequences is captured using the stacking of multilayer LSTMs. The probability of correctly answering the current question is derived from the hidden vectors and the self-attentive weights of the output of the multilayer LSTM. Two public datasets are used for the experiments, and the combined analysis outperforms existing knowledge-tracking models in terms of performance and improves the accuracy of prediction. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a novel microwave bandpass filter with L-shaped structure is introduced, which belongs to a kind of artificial surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) type microwave bandpass *** filter adopts a symmetrical three-stage structure. The first section is a slot-line waveguide section, which realizes the input/output of microwave signals. The second section is a transition section, which adopts the impedance gradient structure to achieve a good connection with the third section. The third section is the SSPPs section composed of periodic symmetric trapezoidal groove structure and 90 degree bend structure. The passband width and stopband characteristics of the filter can be adjusted by adjusting the geometric size of the trapezoidal groove and its air gap, also the microwave subwavelength binding effect can be further improved, which makes the SSPPs filter more excellent in resisting spatial electromagnetic interference. The filter can be used in L~S band civil microwave communication system. © 2022 SPIE.

It is difficult for children to build electronic building blocks. In order to facilitate users to build building blocks, this paper designs and implements an electronic building block auxiliary system based on machine vision. The system uses the deep learning object detection model PP-YOLOv2 to detect the building block pictures taken by the user, obtain the location information of all the two-dimensional code in the pictures, and then decode the two-dimensional code, perform perspective transformation on the pictures, and obtain the final two-dimensional code decoding information and location information. Finally, the position of the QR code identified by the building blocks on the user’s picture is crossed and compared with the position of the standard building blocks, so as to determine whether the building blocks placed by the user are correct and give the user a prompt. The system test shows that the system is not only easy to use, but also easy to maintain, and can correctly handle most of the small and medium difficulty examples in the electronic building blocks course. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

The traditional experimental teaching method is single, and students lack learning initiative and creativity, which leads to the problem of insufficient teaching quality. Therefore, this paper proposes a virtual experiment online teaching system of university economics and management based on virtualization technology. Firstly, optimize the system hardware structure and improve the allowable effect of system equipment configuration. Then, the three-tier structure of customer layer, application service layer and data layer is used to optimize the system software functions, and simplify the working principle and multi-layer architecture of the online virtual experiment system based on B/S mode, so as to achieve the online teaching goal of economic and management virtual experiment in colleges and universities. The landscape of natural language processing (NLP) has been revolutionized by advancements that enable the upstream training of knowledge-rich models for downstream tasks, particularly named entity recognition (NER). Traditional NER approaches, treating it as a sequence labeling problem, often fail to deeply understand the whole text and to capture syntactic nuances of text. To address these issues, we introduce PFMRC, a novel machine reading comprehension (MRC) framework that leverages the strengths of both contextual semantics and syntactic information for enhanced NER performance. PFMRC employs a dual-pronged feature extraction strategy, utilizing RoBERTa and BiGRU to encode text features for contextual semantic information and representing them as node features of the graph structure, and a weighted embedding representation to translate syntactic dependencies into graph-structured edge features. Our model further incorporates Graph Attention Networks (GAT) to harmonize node and edge features, facilitating a nuanced understanding of text. The integration of prior knowledge and the modeling of intricate syntactic relationships through Graph Attention Networks (GAT) not only improves entity recognition accuracy but also enriches the feature representation, leading to more robust NER outcomes. Extensive experiments on three Chinese datasets demonstrate PFMRC's superior performance over state-of-the-art models. © 2024 IEEE.
