第二代Bandelet可以充分利用图像的内在几何正则性特点,并能自适应获得图像的最优表示.本文采用隐马尔可夫树(Hidden Markov tree,HMT)模型对图像的第二代Bandelet系数建模,通过多尺度参数训练和基于上下文的最大后验概率进行图像分割.为了评价本文方法的性能,我们分别选择合成纹理图像、航拍图像和SAR图像进行实验,并与小波域HMT模型分割方法(WD-HMTseg)和Contourlet域HMT模型分割方法(CHM Tseg)进行比较说明算法的有效性.实验结果表明本文方法不但在边缘准确性和区域一致性上有明显改进,而且也降低了纹理图的错分概率.

Robust reliable guaranteed cost control of positive interval systems with multiple time delays and actuator failure

This paper addresses the robust reliable guaranteed cost control problem of positive interval systems with multiple time delays and actuator failure for a given quadratic cost function. Through constructing a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a sufficient condition for the existence of robust reliable guaranteed cost controllers is established such that the closed-loop system is positive and asymptotically stable, and the cost function is guaranteed to be no more than a certain upper bound. Based on the linear matrix inequality method, a criterion for the design of robust reliable guaranteed cost controllers is derived which can tolerate all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failure. Moreover, a convex optimisation problem with linear matrix inequality constraints is formulated to design the optimal robust reliable guaranteed cost controller which minimises the upper bound of the closed-loop system cost. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods. © 2014 Taylor & Francis.

Spiking neural P systems with astrocytes using the rules in the exhaustive mode

Spiking neural P systems (SN P systems, for short) are a class of distributed parallel computing devices inspired by the way neurons communicate by means of electrical impulses or spikes. SN P systems with astrocytes are a new variant of SN P systems, where astrocytes are introduced to control the amount of spikes passing along synapses. In this work, we investigate the computation power of SN P systems with astrocytes with the rules in any neuron used in the exhaustive manner, that is, the enabled rule in any neuron should be used as many times as possible at any moment. Specifically, it is obtained that such SN P systems can compute/generate any set of Turing computable natural numbers. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2014.

Convolutional neural networks have been applied in image recognition widely, and acquired well-known results. However, the discovery of adversarial examples in recent years has attracted many researcher’s attention on the safety and reliability of convolutional neural networks. Adversarial examples are small perturbations added only to the clean image data, which could cause the trained model makes wrong identifications, while people could still recognize. In this paper, we propose a new convolutional neural network to defense the adversarial examples. It breaks into two branches after inputting an image. One branch likes a normal image recognition model, while another branch distills the low-frequency information of the image firstly, and then uses the low-frequency image to train. The two branches combine to make the output of the model. The presented model uses the image’s low-frequency information, through which people often recognizes an object. The experiments show that the presented model suppresses the success rate of the attack in the face of the adversarial examples, and improves the model’s recognition success rate, comparing to some other methods. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Dear Editor, This letter investigates the prescribed-time stabilization of linear singularly perturbed systems. Due to the numerical issues caused by the small perturbation parameter, the off-the-shelf control design techniques for the prescribed-time stabilization of regular linear systems are typically not suitable here. To solve the problem, the decoupling transformation techniques for time-varying singularly perturbed systems are combined with linear time-varying high gain feedback design techniques.

Facing the pressure of the extremely inflated network information and data overload surplus, it is extremely important to locate "valuable information" efficiently and accurately. Text summarization technology in the field of Natural Language processing (NLP) is an effective means to analyze and process network information. In this paper, we propose an abstractive text summarization model based on bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) vectorization and bidirectional decoding. The BERT is adopted to obtain a more global vector representation, which helps the subsequent encoder and decoder to fuse the full-text information to generate a summary with high generality. The decoding phase adopts a bidirectional decoding structure and combines the attention mechanism to maintain the bilateral decoding result to generate summaries. The bidirectional decoding structure can be fine-tuned according to the bidirectional results, which can overcome the tilt problem of the unidirectional structure, and the generated summaries are more consistent. The experimental results on the NLPCC2017 text summarization dataset show that the summaries generated by our model have the higher coherence at the word and sentence level, and the stronger generalization of the full text. © 2023 SPIE.

In this paper, a novel terminal guidance law is proposed to solve the problem of exo-atmospheric interception. It is designed based on the proportional navigation (PN) and the classical optimal sliding-mode guidance (OSMG). It overcomes the shortcoming of these two traditional guidance laws and inherits their merits. Particularly, in the scenario of exo-atmospheric interception, when the maneuvering information of the targets are unavailable, the proposed guidance law has superior performance than the traditional guidance law. Briefly, to enhance the interceptive performance, we introduce the optimal control and sliding-mode control methods to the guidance law for maneuvering target's interception. On the other hand, the traditional proportional navigation law is introduced to intercept the target with a constant speed. After that, a fuzzy switching function is provided to harmonize both situations above, according to the real-time estimation of maneuver. To guarantee the stability of the law, a Lyapunov based condition is obtained. Finally, different from the two-dimensional simulation in most of the literatures of terminal guidance law researches, we illustrate our method in the nonlinear discrete three-dimensional simulation environment by the Runge-Kutta method. Compared with the pure OSMG and PN, the proposed law performs better. © IFAC.

Presently pneumatic muscles (PMs) are used in various applications due to their simple construction, lightweight and high force to weight ratio. However, pneumatic muscles are facing various problems due to their nonlinear characteristic in various mechanical applications. The model of PM is nonlinear and time-varying. In this paper, a Lyapunov-based control (LBC) approach is proposed for the control of PM. Based on the nonlinear characteristic of PM, a dynamic model of the PM actuator with pulling a mass against gravity is formed. Control objectives are both a regulation and an asymptotic tracking of a desired trajectory. Stability analysis based on Lyapunov method with respect to our proposed control law is discussed. The simulation results show the validity, effectiveness and enhancing robustness of the proposed method. © 2012 Huazhong Univ of Sci & Tec.

Security-constrained economic dispatch (SCED) is one of the most important problems in power system operations. Corrective SCED (CSCED) is a type of SCED that considers corrective capabilities of the power system and adjusts base case decisions according to post-contingency states. Because of the large scale of the CSCED problem, it is difficult for purely model-based approaches to meet the time limits in real-time practical operations. To leverage historical operation data, this paper develops a novel hybrid model-based and data-driven framework to accelerate the solution process of CSCED. In the offline stage, our previous model-based contingency filtering approach is utilized to label active statuses of contingencies against historical net load samples. In the online stage, a multi-label classifier based on the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm quickly generates an active contingency set corresponding to the real-time net load. This active contingency set can be used to calculate the economic dispatch decisions in one shot. In addition, the accuracy of our framework can be further improved by adding an optional contingency filtering procedure at the end. Numerical testing results on the IEEE RTS-96 system demonstrate the accuracy and computational efficiency of the hybrid framework as compared to a purely model-based approach. © 2021 IEEE
