Anode Effect Prediction problem has been drawing great research interest of scientists, due to its significant values in reducing energy consumption and improving the efficiency of aluminum electrolysis. However, a large number of missing values contained in the collected data from the aluminum reduction cell are always neglected in the works, resulting in a decline in prediction accuracy and generalization ability. To solve this problem, a combined model of Expectation Maximization and XGBoost (EM-XGBoost) is proposed. Firstly, the original incomplete samples collected from the aluminum cells are recovered by Expectation Maximization (EM) algorithm. Afterwards, the XGBoost model trains on the recovered data, and then predicts the result for new samples. The more comprehensive metrics accuracy and F1 Score are introduced for evaluation. The results in the experiment show that the proposed model improves the accuracy to 99.7% and the F1 Score can achieve 99.8% under the premise of forecasting 30 minutes in advance. The proposed model not only has a high prediction accuracy, but also owns an excellent generalization ability.

With the rapid development of computation and communication technologies, the traditional vehicle ad hoc networks (VANETs) are changing to Internet of vehicle (IoV). Vehicular announcement networks in IoV have been widely used in the communication of vehicles. Generally, we need to solve two problems while establishing a vehicular announcement system. First, we need to protect user's privacy when broadcasting the message. Second, participants usually lack the enthusiasm to reply to the announcement. To solve these two problems, we propose a novel blockchain-based incentive announcement system that not only allows participants to anonymously announce their message on the blockchain in a non-trusted environment, but also motivates witnesses to respond to the request of the traffic information with incentive mechanism. Meanwhile, traffic messages and signatures in our system are tamper-resistant, which are recorded on the blockchain. According to the security and performance analysis, it shows that our system is privacy-preserving and efficient in computation cost.

In this paper, with considerations of low efficiency of missile path planning (MPP) by traditional aggregation technology, it uses affinity propagation based multi-objective evolutionary algorithm with hypervolume environment selection (APMO-HV) to solve the problem of MPP after establishing the MPP model. The experimental part compares and analyzes APMO-HV with six state-of-the-art algorithms, and applies it to address the MPP problem. The experimental results show that compared with the other six algorithms, APMO-HV has achieved the best solution performance in both the GLT test suite and MPP problem. This not only validates the effect of the proposed algorithm, but also enriches and improves the research results of MPP.

The application of a quadrupole magnetic field structure with low power consumption and high field strength is very effective in solving the problem of non-uniformity of oxygen concentration distribution in the process of industrial drawing single crystal silicon by MCZ method. In this paper, a 3D model is used to simulate the crystal growth process under the action of quadrupole magnetic field for accurately describe the effect of control parameters on the oxygen concentration distribution at the crystal-melt interface. The results show that the radial oxygen concentration gradient at the crystal-melt interface is positively correlated increases with the radial temperature gradient when the magnetic induction strength is increased, while the positive correlation decreases with the increase of the crucible rotation speed or the crystal rotation speed within the appropriate range. Moreover, the uniformity of the radial oxygen concentration distribution at the crystal-melt interface can be improved by about 19.11% when the crystal rotation speed is higher and the crucible rotation speed is lower, which is more favorable for improving the quality of the silicon single crystal.

The current of the distribution networks under 66kV is widely operating in small current grounding mode. The problem of extracting the fault feature in each line would be quite difficult due to the short duration of the transient zero sequence current with the non-stationary and non-linear characteristics when the single-phase-to-ground fault occurs in the system. Therefore, a novel method of single-phase-to-ground fault line selection for small current based on Fast S-transform (FST) is developed in this paper. Firstly, FST is presented to transform the transient electric current signal in each feeder, after that the one-dimension modulus and phase angle value can been obtained. Then, the feeder with the largest energy value calculated by the modulus obtained above is selected as the alternative possible fault line. Finally, line failure or bus failure can been determined by evaluating the difference of the phase angle between the fault line and the comparison line that has been selected from the non-alternative feeders before. The results of the simulative and experimental circuits reveal that the proposed method using FST can avoid the influence of neural point grounding type. Additionally, the method of line selection is quite accurate and real-time.

The paper present a ground fault detection method of united adjustment power source system based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and comprehensive energy relative entropy. First, the analysis of the system revealed the fault feature extraction is more difficult and the line selection is inaccurate. Secondly, we summarize the fault characteristics of different operation modes. Different operation modes select line by the same selection line method. The proposed method can accurately extract feature in the weak zero sequence current of each feeder, and distinguish the bus fault and feeder fault for each mode of operation. The simulation results show that the proposed method is also suitable for the traditional small current grounding system, and distribution networks with different voltage levels and grounding modes. The results of laboratory simulation experiments show that the method is reliable and practical.

Due to the advantages of strong carrying capacity and fast response speed, hydraulic servo system has been widely used in industrial motion control field. The hydraulic servo system is susceptible to the nonlinearity, parameter uncertainty and unknown disturbance, which makes the high performance position control of the hydraulic servo system become a challenge. In this paper, considering the hydraulic position servo control system with input saturation, a sliding mode variable structure controller with shrinking boundary layer is designed. The proposed method is used to experimentally track three kinds of reference signals based on Programmable Logic controller (PLC), i.e., S7-200PLC, and hydraulic control system provided by Festo company. The experiment results indicate that the proposed method is effective and achieves smaller steady state tracking error as compared with sign function robust item and the conventional PID control.

Compressive sensing (CS) has been widely used in vehicular technology including compressive spectrum sensing, sparse channel estimation, and vehicular communications. The complete procedure of CS consists of sparse representation, sparse measurement, and sparse recovery. In the CS, measurement matrix Φ is utilized to sample a sparse signal, while sensing matrix Ψ is exploited for sparse recovery. It is important to properly design the sensing matrix that significantly affects the signal recovery performance. This paper addresses the issue of the sensing matrix design for the CS with multiple measurement vectors (MMV). We first study sufficient conditions for the MMV-CS and then develop three sensing matrix design approaches in different situations. The proposed methods have their roots in the principle of minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) beamformer. This allows us to optimally determine the sensing matrix in the framework of the MVDR, which amounts to minimizing local cumulative cross-coherence between Φ and Ψ while keeping the columns of Ψ highly correlated to their counterparts of Φ. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Due to the low working efficiency of apple harvesting robots,there is still a long way to go for *** machine performance and extended operating time are the two research aspects for improving efficiencies of harvesting robots,this study focused on the extended operating time and proposed a round-the-clock operation *** to the influences of light,temperature,humidity,etc.,the working environment at night is relatively complex,and thus restricts the operating efficiency of the apple harvesting *** different artificial light sources(incandescent lamp,fluorescent lamp,and LED lights)were selected for auxiliary light according to certain rules so that the apple night vision images could be *** addition,by color analysis,night and natural light images were compared to find out the color characteristics of the night vision images,and intuitive visual and difference image methods were used to analyze the noise *** results showed that the incandescent lamp is the best artificial auxiliary light for apple harvesting robots working at night,and the type of noise contained in apple night vision images is Gaussian noise mixed with some salt and pepper *** preprocessing method can provide a theoretical and technical reference for subsequent image processing.

In this paper, neural networks based on linearly translated features (LTFs) are presented. LTFs including uniform, non-uniform, and multiple translation vectors are embedded into feedforward neural networks. Learning algorithms are presented for the neural networks. Learning capabilities of the neural networks are analyzed. Experimental results on approximation' identification, and evaluation problems are reported to substantiate the efficacy of the neural networks and learning algorithms.
