In this paper, a new control system based on the improved PID neural network controller（PIDNNC） is designed to control the landslide displacement. In the control system,the fuzzy comprehensive judgement model of landslide system is established to judge whether the system needs to be controlled and give the expected displacement. To solve the problem of random initialization in PIDNNC, This paper proposed an improved PIDNNC based on fuzzy PID controller（F-PIDNNC）.The fuzzy PID controller is used to obtain the proportional,integral and differential coefficients kp, ki and kd. Then the obtained parameters are taken as the initial weights of *** effectiveness of the proposed control system is simulated on Baishuihe and Shiliushubao landslides. The results show that the proposed control system based on F-PIDNNC is much accurate and faster than the traditional one-dimensional fuzzy PID controller and PIDNNC.

Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional point cloud segmentation algorithms, this paper proposes a 3D lidar point cloud segmentation method combining ground filtering and multi-scale twin range image construction. This method fully considers the geometric space distribution characteristics of the point cloud and the randomness of the positions between objects. Based on the assumption of multi plane model, the point cloud is divided into sectors. The ground points are removed through region ground plane fitting and growth, and then the multi-scale twin range image is constructed according to non-ground points. On the basis of the twin range image, the Breadth First Search algorithm is improved, the depth-breadth joint search strategy is proposed, all the points to be clustered are traversed, and the adaptive clustering threshold is used for point cloud clustering, which realizes a point cloud segmentation method with higher accuracy and robustness. Through the experimental analysis of KITTI dataset and collected campus outdoor scene dataset, compared with the traditional point cloud segmentation algorithm, the method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the point cloud segmentation accuracy and robustness of mobile robots in complex environments. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Image matting, aiming to accurately extract foreground objects by estimating their opacity against the background, has made remarkable progress through deep-learning approaches. Nevertheless, the majority of these methods require a user-defined auxiliary input, such as a trimap, which limits their applications in real-world scenarios. There are many auxiliary input-free methods that have been proposed by now, and some of them adopt a multi-task learning framework that includes a shared encoder and two separate decoders. However, these methods lack interactions between the two decoders, or interactions are implemented through simple summation or concatenation. Unfortunately, the integration of different features may cause negative transfer and limit the model performance due to the invisible information transmission process. To address the issue, we introduce the Pattern-Affinitive Propagation Module (PAP) to explicitly model cross-task propagation and task-specific propagation. Furthermore, image matting not only requires high-resolution detail features, but also semantic features. However, current CNN-based methods have limited receptive fields, making it challenging to capture global semantic features. Therefore, we design a module that integrates Dilated Convolution and Spectral Transformer (DSM), which can effectively capture global features and enhance global-local feature fusion. Extensive experiments on AM-2k and P3M-10k datasets demonstrate the superiority of our method.

We study the problem of talking head animation from a single image. Most of the existing methods focus on generating talking heads for human. However, little attention has been paid to the creation of talking head anime. In this paper, our goal is to synthesize vivid talking heads from a single anime image. To this end, we propose cascade pose transform network, termed CPTNet, that consists of a face pose transform network and a head pose transform network. Specifically, we introduce a mask generator to animate facial expression (e.g., close eyes and open mouth) and a grid generator for head movement animation, followed by a fusion module to generate talking heads. In order to handle large motion and obtain more accurate results, we design a pose vector decomposition and cascaded refinement strategy. In addition, we create an anime talking head dataset, that includes various anime characters and poses, to train our model. Extensive experiments on our dataset demonstrate that our model outperforms other methods, generating more accurate and vivid talking heads from a single anime image. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Large-scale multiobjective optimization problems (LSMOPs) exist widely in real-world applications. The large number of decision variables in LSMOP leads to a tremendous high-dimensional search space, which is still challenging for existing multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs). The voltage transformer ratio error estimation (TREE) problem is a typical LSMOP in real-world applications. A number of large-scale multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (LSMOEAs) have been adopted for solving the TREE problem, but so far there is still considerable potential for improvement in their results. In this paper, we propose a informed initialization for solving the TREE problem. The physical properties of the TREE problem are used to construct an initial set of solutions with specific characteristics. The proposed initialization method is tested against the default initialization method on five TREE problems by being applied on six state-of-the-art LSMOEAs and a classical MOEA. The experimental results demonstrate that the initialization method has a significant effect on the performance of LSMOEAs in solving the TREE problems. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Roadmap methods were widely used in route planning fields, both for robots and unmanned aircrafts. Traditional roadmap is constituted by connecting the vertexes of convex obstacle, which is related to the locations of start and goal of route, so the roadmap can not be reused when anyone of start and goal changed. Absence of reusability reduces the efficiency of route planning by using roadmap. A new roadmap constitution method was proposed in this paper, which is build on dividing the 2D configuration space into multi-scale grids and setting nodes of roadmap on grid boundary using Level-Set method, same method was used to construct the map cells of roadmap between any two nodes lays on same grid . The roadmap constituted with new method can be reused when the start or goal was changed;it is efficient for replanning problem. © 2010 IEEE.

Lite-HRNet: A lightweight high-resolution network

We present an efficient high-resolution network, Lite-HRNet, for human pose estimation. We start by simply applying the efficient shuffle block in ShuffleNet to HRNet (high-resolution network), yielding stronger performance over popular lightweight networks, such as MobileNet, ShuffleNet, and Small HRNet. We find that the heavily-used pointwise (1 × 1) convolutions in shuffle blocks become the computational bottleneck. We introduce a lightweight unit, conditional channel weighting, to replace costly pointwise (1 × 1) convolutions in shuffle blocks. The complexity of channel weighting is linear w.r.t the number of channels and lower than the quadratic time complexity for pointwise convolutions. Our solution learns the weights from all the channels and over multiple resolutions that are readily available in the parallel branches in HRNet. It uses the weights as the bridge to exchange information across channels and resolutions, compensating the role played by the pointwise (1 × 1) convolution. Lite-HRNet demonstrates superior results on human pose estimation over popular lightweight networks. Moreover, Lite-HRNet can be easily applied to semantic segmentation task in the same lightweight manner. A new path planning method for UAV in static workspace is presented. The method can find a nearly optimal path in short time which satisfies the UAV kinematic constraints. The method makes use of the skeletons to construct the graph of the planning space considering the configuration of the obstacles and utilizes the graph to find a shortest collision-free path, and a novel technique is utilized to convert the free path into a feasible path. The method can be applied to different applications and easy to be implemented. Experimental results showed that the path planning can be done in a fraction of second on a contemporary workstation (2-3 seconds) under the condition of satisfying the kinematic constraints. © 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

Recent advancements in controllable human-centric video generation, particularly with the rise of diffusion models, have demonstrated considerable progress. However, achieving precise and localized control over human motion, e.g., replacing or inserting individuals into videos while exhibiting desired motion patterns, still remains challenging. In this work, we propose the ReplaceAnyone framework, which focuses on localizing and manipulating human motion in videos with diverse and intricate backgrounds. Specifically, we formulate this task as an image-conditioned pose-driven video inpainting paradigm, employing a unified video diffusion architecture that facilitates image-conditioned pose-driven video generation and inpainting within masked video regions. Moreover, we introduce diverse mask forms involving regular and irregular shapes to avoid shape leakage and allow granular local control. Additionally, we implement a two-stage training methodology, initially training an image-conditioned pose-driven video generation model, followed by joint training of the video inpainting within masked areas. In this way, our approach enables seamless replacement or insertion of characters while maintaining the desired pose motion and reference appearance within a single framework. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method in generating realistic and coherent video content. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A fuzzy test-based method for random differentiation of homework is proposed to address the problems of low update frequency, serious plagiarism and weakened barriers in university coursework. In order to generate fuzzy homework questions, a semi-automatic framework for fuzzy test-based homework is designed and the four key steps are described in formal language, including pre-processing, variable construction, variable screening and difficulty assessment. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated through a comparison of student teaching data, questionnaire feedback and faculty interviews in a pilot course on principles of computer composition. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
