A Magnetoencephalography (MEG) time-series recording consists of multi-channel signals collected by superconducting sensors, with each signal’s intensity reflecting magnetic field changes over time at the sensor location. Automating epileptic MEG spike detection significantly reduces manual assessment time and effort, yielding substantial clinical benefits. Existing research addresses MEG spike detection by encoding neural network inputs with signals from all channel within a time segment, followed by classification. However, these methods overlook simultaneous spiking occurred from nearby sensors. We introduce a simple yet effective paradigm that first clusters MEG channels based on their sensor’s spatial position. Next, a novel convolutional input module is designed to integrate the spatial clustering and temporal changes of the signals. This module is fed into a custom MEEG-ResNet3D developed by the authors, which learns to extract relevant features and classify the input as a spike clip or not. Our method achieves an F1 score of 94.73% on a large real-world MEG dataset Sanbo-CMR collected from two centers, outperforming state-of-the-art approaches by 1.85%. Moreover, it demonstrates efficacy and stability in the Electroencephalographic (EEG) seizure detection task, yielding an improved weighted F1 score of 1.4% compared to current state-of-the-art techniques evaluated on TUSZ, whch is the largest EEG seizure dataset. This paper devotes to combine the chirp basis function transformation and symplectic coordinates transformation to yield a novel Wigner distribution (WD) associated with the linear canonical transform (LCT), named as the symplectic WD in the LCT domain (SWDL). It incorporates the merits of the symplectic WD (SWD) and the WD in the LCT domain (WDL), achieving stronger capability in the linear frequency-modulated (LFM) signal frequency rate feature extraction while maintaining the same level of computational complexity. Some essential properties of the SWDL are derived, including marginal distributions, energy conservations, unique reconstruction, Moyal formula, complex conjugate symmetry, time reversal symmetry, scaling property, time translation property, frequency modulation property, and time translation and frequency modulation property. Heisenberg’s uncertainty principles of the SWDL are formulated, giving rise to three kinds of lower bounds attainable respectively by Gaussian enveloped complex exponential signal, Gaussian signal and Gaussian enveloped chirp signal. The optimal symplectic matrices corresponding to the highest time-frequency resolution are generated by solving the lower bound optimization (minimization) problem. The time-frequency resolution of the SWDL is compared with those of the SWD and WDL to demonstrate its superiority in LFM signals time-frequency energy concentration. The recent advancement of generative foundational models has ushered in a new era of image generation in the realm of natural images, revolutionizing art design, entertainment, environment simulation, and beyond. Despite producing high-quality samples, existing methods are constrained to generating images of scenes at a limited scale. In this paper, we present MetaEarth - a generative foundation model that breaks the barrier by scaling image generation to a global level, exploring the creation of worldwide, multi-resolution, unbounded, and virtually limitless remote sensing images. In MetaEarth, we propose a resolution-guided self-cascading generative framework, which enables the generating of images at any region with a wide range of geographical resolutions. To achieve unbounded and arbitrary-sized image generation, we design a novel noise sampling strategy for denoising diffusion models by analyzing the generation conditions and initial noise. To train MetaEarth, we construct a large dataset comprising multi-resolution optical remote sensing images with geographical information. Experiments have demonstrated the powerful capabilities of our method in generating global-scale images. Additionally, the MetaEarth serves as a data engine that can provide high-quality and rich training data for downstream tasks. The multi-motor system shows excellent performance in achieving high-precision control in the applications with large load inertia,such as large-aperture telescopes and highprecision processing machine ***,the non-linearity of gear transmission remains a key challenge that will cause the fluctuation of angular velocity and position of the load in the multi-motor *** order to compensate for the nonlinearity in the multi-motor system,this paper introduces a deadzone model into the spring-damper dynamics of the multi-motor system,based on which a model predictive control(MPC) method is proposed to control the angular velocity and angle of the *** optimization target of the proposed controller is to limit the fluctuations of input torque as much as *** effectiveness of the dead-zone based dynamic model and the MPC method are verified by simulation.

Security-constrained economic dispatch (SCED) is one of the most important problems in power system operations. Corrective SCED (CSCED) is a type of SCED that considers corrective capabilities of the power system and adjusts base case decisions according to post-contingency states. Because of the large scale of the CSCED problem, it is difficult for purely model-based approaches to meet the time limits in real-time practical operations. To leverage historical operation data, this paper develops a novel hybrid model-based and data-driven framework to accelerate the solution process of CSCED. In the offline stage, our previous model-based contingency filtering approach is utilized to label active statuses of contingencies against historical net load samples. In the online stage, a multi-label classifier based on the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm quickly generates an active contingency set corresponding to the real-time net load. This active contingency set can be used to calculate the economic dispatch decisions in one shot. In addition, the accuracy of our framework can be further improved by adding an optional contingency filtering procedure at the end. Numerical testing results on the IEEE RTS-96 system demonstrate the accuracy and computational efficiency of the hybrid framework as compared to a purely model-based approach.

Most existing one-shot skeleton-based action recognition focuses on raw low-level information (e.g., joint location), and may suffer from local information loss and low generalization ability. To alleviate these, we propose to leverage text description generated from large language models (LLM) that contain high-level human knowledge, to guide feature learning, in a global-local-global way. Particularly, during training, we design 2 prompts to gain global and local text descriptions of each action from an LLM. We first utilize the global text description to guide the skeleton encoder focus on informative joints (i.e.,global-tolocal). Then we build non-local interaction between local text and joint features, to form the final global representation (i.e., local-to-global). To mitigate the asymmetry issue between the training and inference phases, we further design a dual-branch architecture that allows the model to perform novel class inference without any text input, also making the additional inference cost neglectable compared with the base skeleton encoder. Extensive experiments on three different benchmarks show that CrossGLG consistently outperforms the existing SOTA methods with large margins, and the inference cost (model size) is only 2.8% than the previous SOTA. CrossGLG can also serve as a plug-and-play module that can substantially enhance the performance of different SOTA skeleton encoders with a neglectable cost during inference. To realize a robust robotic grasping system for unknown objects in an unstructured environment,large amounts of grasp data and 3D model data for the object are *** reduce the time cost of data acquisition and labeling and increase the rate of successful grasps,we developed a self-supervised learning mechanism to control grasp tasks performed by ***,a manipulator automatically collects the point cloud for the objects from multiple perspectives to increase the efficiency of data *** complete point cloud for the objects is obtained by utilizing the hand-eye vision of the manipulator,and the TSDF ***,the point cloud data for the objects is used to generate a series of six-degrees-of-freedom grasp poses,and the force-closure decision algorithm is used to add the grasp quality label to each grasp pose to realize the automatic labeling of grasp ***,the point cloud in the gripper closing area corresponding to each grasp pose is obtained;it is then used to train the grasp-quality classification model for the *** results of performing actual grasping experiments demonstrate that the proposed self-supervised learning method can increase the rate of successful grasps for the manipulator.

Spatial audio is an important component of the metaverse. With the rapid increase of the spatial resolution and the number of objects, the data volume of the spatial side information has grown larger. However, the low bit rate transmission of spatial side information in the object-based audio coding methods leads to the low-quality reconstruction of spatial side information with limited bandwidth. To address this issue, this paper constructs a cascade design of spatial audio coding and unequal error protection (UEP) rateless codes. Furthermore, the further protection of specific spatial side information is proposed for different scenarios, which effectively addresses the limitation of traditional spatial audio coding in side information protection. For the situation where the code length K of different importance levels is different, we propose an adaptive degree distribution (ADD), adding K to the selection probability as an influencing factor, which has better performance than other degree distribution for short code length. ADD is used to replace the multiple degree distribution strategy of the traditional unequal error protection scheme, and the block error rate (BER) is reduced nearly 10 times compared with the traditional scheme.
