This paper examines the event-triggered consensus problem of the multi-agent system on signed networks. An event-based distributed control protocol is proposed for multiagent networks where the dynamics of each agent is characterized by a controllable linear time-invariant system (A, B). By exploring the Gauge transformation between Laplacian matrix and signed Laplacian matrix, we show that the bipartite consensus and trivial consensus can be achieved, respectively, in terms of the structural balance of the underlying signed network. Furthermore, the Zeno phenomenon of the closed-loop system is shown to be non-existed when employing the proposed event-based control protocol. Simulation results are finally provided to demonstrate our results.

In this paper,an improved fireworks algorithm is proposed in PID control system performance *** new algorithm called fireworks algorithm with genetic mutation(FWAGM) is based on adaptive fireworks algorithm(AFW),which is inspired on fireworks explosion process and has adaptive local search ***,the Gaussian mutation in AFW is not efficient to avoid stuck in local *** FWAGM,the genetic mutation operation using the better individuals in all the generations to generate diverse mutation sparks is *** FWAGM is applied in the PID control performance optimization in the MATLAB *** result shows that FWAGM acquires better control performance than AFW and genetic algorithm(GA).The new algorithm improves heuristic search efficiency,and it’s proved to have obvious advantage for both control performance optimization and other optimization problems.

The simulation platform and physical equipment in traditional control system of inverted pendulum are often independent of each other. Researchers are more likely to use Simulink for inverted pendulum simulation. The physical model is simplified, and the curves of the simulation result are correct as well. In this paper, a more practical nonlinear model of inverted pendulum is established. The model and control algorithm code are generated automatically based on embedded equipment, and experimental curves can be displayed in real time in a three-dimensional scene.

Active learning for regression using greedy sampling

Regression problems are pervasive in real-world applications. Generally a substantial amount of labeled samples are needed to build a regression model with good generalization ability. However, many times it is relatively easy to collect a large number of unlabeled samples, but time-consuming or expensive to label them. Active learning for regression (ALR) is a methodology to reduce the number of labeled samples, by selecting the most beneficial ones to label, instead of random selection. This paper proposes two new ALR approaches based on greedy sampling (GS). The first approach (GSy) selects new samples to increase the diversity in the output space, and the second (iGS) selects new samples to increase the diversity in both input and output spaces. Extensive experiments on 12 UCI and CMU StatLib datasets from various domains, and on 15 subjects on EEG-based driver drowsiness estimation, verified their effectiveness and robustness. This paper focuses on the scheme of cooperative lane change motion planning of multiple connected and automated vehicles, so as to minimize the time for lane change while penalizing large steering angles subject to hard collision avoidance constraints. Nominally this scheme should be formulated in a centralized way with the constraints of all the vehicles considered simultaneously. In order to facilitate the numerical solving process of this centralized optimization problem, we propose a stepwise computation framework. Starting with a sub-problem with all of the collision avoidance constraints removed, a sequence of sub-problems are defined by adding back the removed collision avoidance constraints gradually until the original problem takes shape in the end. The optimum of one sub-problem is always used as the initial guess when solving the next sub-problem. This iterative process continues until the optimum of the original problem is obtained. In this way, the difficulties in the original centralized problem are divided into multiple parts, and every progress made to address the partial difficulties is 'solidified' by the initial guess. © 2018 IEEE.
