Pyrolysis is an effective method to treat oily sludge(OS)due to its balance between oil recovery and nonhazardous ***,tank bottom OS contains a high content of heavy fractions,which creates obstacles for pyrolysis due to the high activation *** incomplete cracking of macromolecules and secondary polymerization decreases the oil quality and causes coking during the operation *** study introduced polyethylene(PE)into OS to deploy the H/Ceff ratio of feedstocks for pyrolysis A strong interaction between OS and PE during copyrolysis could be observed from the TG/DTG *** tightly participated in OS degradation,while OS also promoted PE degradation at high *** pits were generated in solid residues from copyrolysis,which was attributed to the uniform and violent gas *** addition to HCN,other nitrogenous and sulphurous pollutants were ***,more gas products were attained after PE addition with more value-added compositions of alkanes and *** the oil yield decreased after PE addition,the oil products from copyrolysis possessed higher heating values and higher contents of light fractions with short chains as well as ***,copyrolysis of OS and PE significantly improved the pyrolysis process and resulted in high oil quality.

In modern battlefields, the stability of wireless communications is crucial for intelligence transmission, command coordination, and maintaining strategic advantage. However, with the rapid advancement of communication technologies, the electromagnetic environment has become increasingly complex, making intelligent decision-making in communication countermeasures a prominent research focus. However, most existing studies adopt deep learning and reinforcement learning methods, which require extensive data samples and computational resources. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a game-theoretic model for intelligent radio communication countermeasures under incomplete information. It quantitatively evaluates common attack and defense tactcis used in communication countermeasures and explores the mixed-strategy equilibrium of the game when both the attackers and defenders consist of multiple types. Furthermore, simulation-based comparative analyses are conducted to assess the factors influencing the utility of both the attacker and defender. The findings offer theoretical insights and decision-making support for the deployment of communication countermeasure strategies in practical military operations, contributing to significant strategic value. © 2025 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.. The internal circulations on internal mass transfer rate of a single drop in nonlinear uniaxial extensional flow

The internal flow of a droplet in the nonlinear extensional flow field will exhibit more than two internal circulations with the variation of nonlinear intensity(E).In this paper,the effect of positions and sizes of internal circulations on internal mass transfer rate of a single spherical droplet in a nonlinear extensional flow field is studied and compared with that in a linear extensional flow *** simulation results show that when E≥0,there are two symmetrical internal circulations in the droplet,which is the same with that in a linear extensional *** limit value of mass transfer rate Sh is 15,which is equal to that in a linear extensional flow,no matter how large E *** E≤-3/7,the number of internal flow circulation of a droplet increase to four and the transfer rate Sh *** E=-1,the maximum internal transfer rate Sh equals 30 which is twice of that in a linear extensional *** generation of new flow circulations in droplets and the circulation positions will enhance mass transfer when E≤-3/7,which provides a new idea for enhancing the internal mass transfer rate of droplets.

In text mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP), extracting emotions from textual data is gaining rapid attraction. The proliferation of online content and the freedom of expression on social media platforms has compelled the advancement of more sophisticated methods for the automatic identification of unwanted content. The One-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1D-CNN) performs best for feature extraction, while the Long Short-Term Memory Network (LSTM) is well-known for extracting sequential features and classification of textual data. This study proposes a novel solution by combining 1D-CNN with LSTM. Utilizing a context-aware model, this study aims to enhance the detection of immoral posts, including hate speech and other forms of immoral content on social media platforms. Various posts are extracted from social media, which are then processed using Glove word embedding models. It depicts the word representations in the text, which yields the form of a real-valued vector determining the words' meaning. The 1D convolution utilizes a filter window over the input time-series data to extract features. Relying on the acquired parameters of the filters, they act as feature extractors. This feature extraction technique allows the model to distinguish detailed patterns and nuances from the textual contents of posts. The sequential processing capabilities of the LSTM network enable an in-depth examination of the text, capturing temporal relationships and context, which is critical for successful content categorization. To validate the proposed model, we utilized a benchmark dataset, called the Twitter dataset. The proposed model achieved the highest accuracy of 95.37% and outperforms state-of-the-art works. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Compared with the traditional liquid–liquid extraction method,solid-phase extraction agents are of great significance for the recovery of indium metal due to their convenience,free of organic solvents,and fully exposed *** this study,P_(2)O_(4)(di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid)was chemically modified by using UiO-66 to form the solid-phase extraction agent P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOFs(di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid-UiO-66-metal-organic frameworks)to adsorb In(Ⅲ).The results show that the Zr of UiO-66 bonds with the P-OH of P_(2)O_(4) to form a composite P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOF,which was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).The adsorption process of indium on P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOFs followed pseudo first-order kinetics,and the adsorption isotherms fit the Langmuir adsorption isotherm *** adsorption capabilities can reach 192.8 mg/*** five consecutive cycles of adsorption-desorption-regeneration,the indium adsorption capacity by P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOFs remained above 99%.The adsorption mechanism analysis showed that the P=O and P-OH of P_(2)O_(4) molecules coated on the surface of P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOFs participated in the adsorption reaction of *** this paper,the extractant P_(2)O_(4) was modified into solid P_(2)O_(4)-UiO-66-MOFs for the first *** work provides a new idea for the development of solid-phase extractants for the recovery of indium.

With the development of vehicle autonomous driving technology and wireless network communication technology, the mix platoon of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and connected human-driven vehicles (CHVs) is becoming inevitable. The abnormal V2V communication and uncertain vehicle dynamics may affect the CAV control performance. Considering time-varying communication delays and random packet loss, an event-trigger-based robust control strategy is proposed based on the stability theory of stochastic time-delay systems. The Bernoulli packet loss model is constructed to solve the random packet loss problem. The robust controller with the event-triggered mechanism designed using the Lyapunov functional stability theory of stochastic systems ensures the stability of the mix platoon with vehicle heterogeneity and the stability of CAV. The simulation comparison has verified that the proposed control strategy can better suppress the fluctuation of the preceding vehicle and more quickly reach the desired value when both time delay and packet loss are present. © 2024 IEEE.

Obstacle avoidance is a significant research content in multi-agents formation control. The obstacle avoidance of multi-agents systems is investigated in this paper, and an improved artificial potential field method (IAPF) is proposed to avoid unknown obstacles in multi-agent formation. Aiming at improving the efficiency of formation avoidance and solving the non-reachable and local minima problems, the dynamic sub-target algorithm is proposed. The proposed method enables the multi-agent system (MASs) to avoid obstacles smoothly and quickly and complete formation tasks in complex environments by tracking dynamic sub-target as well, in which the position and motion direction of adjacent agents are taken into account in the selection of a sub-target for the formation efficiency. In addition, a variable potential field range is defined to ensure the safety of the formation. Finally, several simulation results verify the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2023 IEEE.

Soft robots offer promising solutions for rehabilitation due to their inherent attributes such as suppleness, lightweight construction, and safety features. However, prevalent soft actuators face limitations in output force and bending angle, impeding their effective application in rehabilitation. This paper proposes a novel design approach employing a two-layer lattice structure actuator, comprising flexion, guiding, and extension layers. This innovative design facilitates supple and efficient bi-directional rehabilitation training for fingers and wrists. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed dual-layer lattice structure actuator. At an air pressure of 150 kPa, it achieves an end force of 14.88 N, marking a remarkable 906% increase compared to its single-layer counterpart. Additionally, the dual-layer structure exhibits a minimum bending radius of 2.77 cm under 60 kPa, representing a 38.5% reduction relative to the single-layer actuator. Leveraging these actuators, a hand and wrist rehabilitation robot was developed and subjected to a clinical trial involving two healthy subjects. The trial outcomes reveal significant improvements in finger grasping ability and wrist range of motion with the assistance of the rehabilitation robot. These results underscore the practical usability and effectiveness of the soft hand and wrist rehabilitation robot, thereby holding promise for enhancing patient rehabilitation outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, the state observation for switched systems with unknown inputs has attracted considerable attention [1–5].

The increasing demand for precision in industrial automation has amplified the importance of accurate control in parallel robots, particularly given their high nonlinearity, complex coupling, and sensitivity to environmental disturbances. This paper presents a trajectory tracking control strategy leveraging a super-helix algorithm and an adaptive integral terminal sliding mode controller, specifically designed to address the challenges posed by inertial forces, frequent acceleration shifts, and external perturbations in high-speed Delta parallel robots. By deriving a comprehensive dynamics model and integrating the convergence law with sliding mode and super-helix techniques, the proposed method significantly enhances system robustness and dynamic responsiveness. Simulation results demonstrate that, compared to traditional approaches, this method markedly improves trajectory tracking precision, disturbance resistance, and vibration suppression, enhancing system performance by up to 98.65%. This controller not only ensures high tracking accuracy but also holds considerable promise for practical industrial applications. © 2024 IEEE.
