Optimal Production Capacity Matching for Blockchain-Enabled Manufacturing Collaboration With the Iterative Double Auction Method

The increased demand for personalized customization calls for new production modes to enhance collaborations among a wide range of manufacturing practitioners who unnecessarily trust each other. In this article, a blockchain-enabled manufacturing collaboration framework is proposed, with a focus on the production capacity matching problem for blockchainbased peer-to-peer(P2P) collaboration. First, a digital model of production capacity description is built for trustworthy and transparent sharing over the blockchain. Second, an optimization problem is formulated for P2P production capacity matching with objectives to maximize both social welfare and individual benefits of all participants. Third, a feasible solution based on an iterative double auction mechanism is designed to determine the optimal price and quantity for production capacity matching with a lack of personal information. It facilitates automation of the matching process while protecting users' privacy via blockchainbased smart contracts. Finally, simulation results from the Hyperledger Fabric-based prototype show that the proposed approach increases social welfare by 1.4% compared to the Bayesian game-based approach, makes all participants profitable,and achieves 90% fairness of enterprises.

Translation efforts from natural language to code generation have achieved great success with large pre-trained language models. However, selecting the correct code output for the problem posed by the generated set of candidate codes is still challenging. In this paper, we address this problem by proposing an outcome-based quality-aware reordering method for code selection. This method scores each code by whether the set of candidate codes passes the test cases or not as a reference to select the top k best code outputs. In addition, this method depends on the quality and number of test cases. However, it is impractical to manually create a large number of test cases for each problem, so this paper adopts an automated approach that utilizes the current model to generate test cases for each problem. The experimental results show that the approach proposed in this paper obtains a significant improvement in the pass@k benchmark for each model, and the correctness and quality of test cases generated automatically using the model are discussed experimentally. Summarizing the experimental results and discussions, the result-based quality-aware reordering method proposed in this paper achieves a significant improvement in solving the problem of selecting the correct output from natural language to code generation, effectively improves the accuracy of evaluation by automating the generation of test cases, and provides an effective solution to improving the correctness of code generation. © 2024 IEEE.

The inspection of roads for defects, as basic transportation infrastructure, is critical to maintain the efficient and safe operation of the transportation system. Visual perception-based pavement defect detection methods can efficiently and accurately identify pavement issues and provide data support for intelligent preventive maintenance. This paper summarizes the development of pavement defect detection technology, from feature extraction to automatic feature extraction. Deep learning-based pavement defect detection methods are analyzed and compared in three aspects: classification, object detection, and segmentation. By integrating recent research methods, the paper further reviews innovative approaches to pavement defect detection modeling in four areas: information flow models, Transformer models, attention mechanisms, and the application of 3D technology. Additionally, various defect types, pavement defect datasets, and defect detection systems are introduced. Finally, the paper provides an outlook on future trends and summarizes the key findings. © 2024, Cefin Publishing House. All rights reserved.

This paper presents a conformal array antenna for emergency communication applications. The array consists of six conformal AMC-backed Yagi antennas, for which approximately half-space beam coverage can be achieved via one-dimensional full-azimuthal beam switching. The Yagi antenna is comprised of a bowtie-shaped driven dipole and three directors with optimized lengths and spacing to achieve the desired radiation characteristics. To increase the gain and generate the oblique directional beam, the Yagi antenna is backed by an AMC reflector. To validate the design, a prototype of conformal array element was fabricated and measured. Experimental results have shown the proposed conformal antenna exhibit a bandwidth of 570 MHz at the 2.4-GHz band, a gain of 7.5 dBi and approximately half-space beam coverage. The superior performance has shown its huge potential in balloon-based emergency communication stations. © 2024 IEEE.

Deep learning methodologies are gaining popularity for enhancing the efficiency of Specific Emitter Identification (SEI). Nevertheless, the lack of labeled datasets continues to pose a challenge in most non-cooperative scenarios for SEI. Addressing this challenge, a framework for SEI is proposed, leveraging Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) in conjunction with auxiliary classifier GAN(ACGAN). The Short-Time Fourier Transform of emitters is utilized as radio-frequency fingerprint for the emitters. The input latent layer is infused with label information to steer the training process of the Generative Adversarial Network. Through semi-supervised training, shared weight updates are implemented for the classification network. Experimental results demonstrate that our model can achieve superior or competitive performances in several datasets compared with the former models. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the cooperative output regulation(COR) problem of a class of unknown heterogeneous multi-agent systems(MASs) with directed graphs is studied via a model-free reinforcement learning(RL) based fully distributed eventtriggered control(ETC) strategy. First, we consider the scenario that the exosystem is accessible globally to all agents, an internal model-based augmented algebraic Riccati equation(AARE) is constructed, and its solution is learned by the proposed model-free RL algorithm via online input-output data. Further, for the scenario that the exosystem is accessible only to its adjacent followers, the distributed observers are designed for each agent to get the state of the exosystem, and an internal modelbased fully distributed adaptive ETC protocol is then synthesized to construct the corresponding AARE, and the feedback gain matrix is learned in a model-free fashion. The model-free RL-based control protocol proposed in this paper can not only remove the prior knowledge of agents' dynamics, but also release the dependence on global information by the adaptive event-triggered mechanism(ETM) and the new graph-based Lyapunov function. Finally, simulation results are illustrated to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Semi-supervised learning has garnered significant attention, particularly in medical image segmentation, owing to its capacity to leverage a large number of unlabeled data and a limited amount of labeled data to improve performance. However, most existing semi-supervised segmentation methods exhibit shortcomings in supervising unlabeled data, both in the label space due to potential noise in pseudo-labels, and the feature space due to indistinct class boundaries. To address the issues above, we propose Dual-view Label and Feature Supervision Network, termed DLFS-Net, to enhance label and feature supervision for unlabeled data. Our approach is based on a dual-view learning strategy that incorporates two modules: the Confidence Fusion Supervision Module (CFS) and the Dual-view Prototype Learning Module (DPL). Specifically, the CFS module generates weight matrices to integrate complementary information from two model outputs, producing more accurate pseudo-labels in the label space. The DPL module reduces intra-class variations in the feature space from two different views through prototype learning to generate clear class boundaries. Experiments on the LA and Pancreas-CT datasets demonstrate that our framework show solid gains (e.g.,1.76% Dice and 2.37% Jaccard improvement on Pancreas-CT dataset with 20% labeled data) compared with the state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 ACM.

Mass spectrometry serves as a pivotal tool for the analysis of small molecules through an examination of their mass-to-charge ratios. Recent advancements in deep learning have markedly enhanced the analysis of mass spectrometric data, facilitating the prediction of novel small molecule structures without the necessity of extensive databases. Nonetheless, the paucity of annotated datasets impedes the efficacious training of molecular generation models predicated on MS2 spectra. To mitigate this limitation, we introduce ctMSNovelist, an avant-garde method that amalgamates pre-training, fine-tuning, and co-training techniques to construct a more precise model for the generation of molecular structures from tandem mass spectrometry data. This novel approach augments both the training regimen and the predictive accuracy of the MSNovelist model, thereby surmounting the obstacle of limited data. The methodology commences with the pretraining of a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) to generate molecular fingerprints derived from SMILES strings. Subsequently, it undergoes fine-tuning to emulate noisy fingerprints originating from mass spectrometry (MS) data. Concurrently, MSNovelist is co-trained utilizing these simulated fingerprints, inclusive of the highly noisy variants produced in the early stages of VAE training. The incorporation of a substantial volume of noisy data serves to enhance model accuracy and avert overfitting. We evaluated ctMSNovelist using the GNPS dataset and attained a SMILES prediction accuracy of 48.8%, representing a 4.1% enhancement over MSNovelist. It is pertinent to note that the sole distinction between ctMSNovelist and MSNovelist in this experiment was the training process. In this paper, an uncertain nonlinear switched system with V-n jumps, characterized by its sensitivity to subjective uncertainties, is modeled using uncertain differential equations with V-n jumps. To account for the discontinuous jump behavior in each subsystem, a V-n jumps process associated with an uncertain Z-n jumps variable, defined by a jump uncertainty distribution, is introduced. Under the assumptions of linear growth and Lipschitz conditions, an existence and uniqueness theorem for the solutions of uncertain nonlinear switched systems with V-n jumps is established and rigorously proven. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the theoretical results. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. All rights reserved.
