In this paper, a SIR-coupled dual-band bandpass filter is proposed, which has lower insertion loss, better out-of-band rejection. The bandpass characteristics of the dual-band are obtained by bending the SIR and coupling it, and loading the shaped branches. By changing the shape of the shaped branches, a transmission pole is added in the first passband, which reduces the insertion loss of the filter and improves the rejection effect of the stopband. The simulation results show that the dual-frequency bandpass filter has a center frequency of 6.26GHz, an insertion loss of 0.17dB, a return loss of less than -27.8dB, and a relative bandwidth of 15.5% for the low band, and an insertion loss of 0.67dB, a return loss of less than -15.8dB, and a relative bandwidth of 11.6% for the high band, at a center frequency of 9.26GHz.

This paper proposes a metasurface-based left-handed circularly polarized (CP) sequential rotating metasurface-based (MTS) antenna array for C-band. The array comprises a cluster of 4 × 4 periodically aligned MTS cells, which exhibit excellent performance at a low profile of 0.08 λ 0 . The antenna array is constructed on a Rogers RO4003 dielectric board in two layers. The upper surface of the upper layer is the MTS, the floor has a gap between the upper and lower layers, and the lower surface of the lower layer is the sequential feed network. The simulation conducted in HFSS software yielded an integrated bandwidth (IBW) of 95% (3.79-8.54 GHz) and an antenna radiation bandwidth (ARBW) of 49.8% (3.77-6.26 GHz), respectively. The dimensions of the antenna are 1.33λ 0 × 1.33λ 0 × 0.08λ 0 . This configuration results in a miniaturized, compact, and low-profile antenna array. This antenna configuration is applicable to satellite communications using circularly polarized waves through MTS units.

Social media is the platform for most people to share their opinions, emojis are also widely used to express moods, emotions, and feelings on social media. There have been many researched on emojis and sentiment analysis. However, existing methods mainly face two limitations. First, since deep learning relies on large amounts of labeled data, the training samples of emoji are not enough to achieve the training effect. Second, they consider the sentiment of emojis and texts separately, not fully exploring the impact of emojis on the sentiment polarity of texts. In this paper, we propose a joint learning sentiment analysis method incorporating emoji-augmentation, and the method has two advantages compared with the existing work. First, We optimize the easy data augmentation method so that the newly generated sentences can also preserve the semantic information of emojis, which relieves the problem of insufficient training data with emojis. Second, it fuses emojis and text features to allow the model to better learn the mutual emotional semantics between text and emojis, jointly training emojis and words to obtain the sentence representations containing more semantic information of both emojis and text. Our experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance compared with several baselines on two datasets. © 2022 IEEE.

Improving Speaker Verification Back-End with Graph Neural Networks

Currently, research on speaker verification tasks is primarily concentrated on enhancing deep speaker models to extract high-quality speaker embeddings. Nevertheless, this speaker embeddings can be regarded as potential graph structures. Therefore, this paper introduces a graph neural network-based speaker verification back-end approach, treating the speaker embeddings derived from the front-end as graph structures and leveraging graph neural networks to uncover the relationships among embeddings, thereby achieving superior-quality speaker embeddings. In addition, we propose a group updating method to solve the problem of memory overflow when the number of nodes is excessive. Extensive experiments and ablation studies were carried out on the VoxCeleb dataset, and the experimental outcomes validate the effectiveness of our proposed graph neural network speaker back-end in significantly boosting the performance of speaker verification systems. Since the marine diesel engine is one of the most popular power equipments for modern shipping, accurate and timely diagnose the faults occurred in diesel engine is extraordinary important for long service life and high reliability. Note that Fisher discriminant analysis (FDA) has been widely applied in fault diagnosis field. However, it is quite susceptible to the small sample size (SSS) problem, which is very common in the running process of diesel engine. In response to the problem, this study pro-poses a new fault classification criterion based exponential discriminant analysis (EDA) scheme for diesel engine fault diagnosis, in which the exponential transformation is carried out first to enlarge the margin between different classes, thus the different fault classes are further separated and the diagnosis capability is enhanced. In addition, the theorems of matrix exponential guarantee that the matrix exp (Sw) is always full-rank, even though the Sw is singular. That means, the novel methodology is still appli-cable when confronts with the SSS problem. Finally, based on the more reasonable fault classification criterion, the simulation results on a real-world two-stroke six-cylinder low-speed marine diesel engine indicate that the EDA based diagnosis scheme achieves higher fault diagnosis accuracy with good robustness and practicability in real-world engineering applications. © 2022 IEEE.

Anomalous Sound Detection Using Time-Frequency Feature and Mixbatch

The sound emitted by machines under abnormal working conditions exhibits various frequency patterns. Currently, the most advanced anomalous sound detection (ASD) approach is to apply a multi-head self-attention mechanism to the Log-Mel spectrogram for automatic frequency pattern analysis. However, the Log-Mel spectrogram may filter out high-frequency components of abnormal sounds;thus the use of self-attention mechanisms on Log-Mel spectrogram seems to have certain limitations. In this paper, we construct a simple convolutional neural network to extract comprehensive frequency features from raw audio to complement spectral-temporal information fusion. The parameters of this neural network are continuously updated during the training process to extract better frequency features for downstream classification neural networks in ASD. Additionally, a method for data augmentation in the batch dimension was developed to help the classification model learn both types of comprehensive features simultaneously. The proposed method achieved an AUC of 94.13% and a pAUC of 89.09% on the DCASE 2020 Challenge Task 2 dataset. Even when using only the features proposed in this paper, an AUC of 84.62% was achieved. The accuracy and reliability of automatic speaker verification (ASV) face significant challenges in noisy environments. In recent years, joint training of speech enhancement front-end and ASV back-end has been widely applied to improve the robustness of ASV systems. Traditional joint training directly uses the enhanced speech features as the input of the back-end. However, the diversity of noise types and noise intensities will excessively suppress the enhanced features, resulting in speech distortion or residual noise. To alleviate this problem, we propose a dual-path spectrogram refinement network that enables the enhanced features to learn supplementary information from the separated noise features. In addition, we incorporate coordinate attention into the overall joint architecture to capture more comprehensive frequency and temporal information of the speaker from different spatial positions. We conduct extensive experiments on the VoxCeleb1 test set, the out-of-domain noise test set, and the VOiCES corpus. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method significantly improves the accuracy and robustness of speaker verification systems in both clean and noisy environments. FAE-MSLKNet: Multi-Scale Large Kernel Network With Fourier Adaptive Enhancement for Automatic Modulation Recognition

Automatic Modulation Recognition (AMR) is vital in wireless communication systems. Recently, a number of deep learning(DL) architectures have been developed for AMR. However, existing methods have limitations in frequency analysis and long-range temporal dependencies extraction. Moreover, most models have high computational costs and large model sizes. To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes FAE-MSLKNet, a Multi-Scale Large Kernel Network with Fourier Adaptive Enhancement. First, we introduced a Fourier Adaptive Enhancement (FAE) module to adaptively enhance features and model long-term temporal dependencies in the frequency-domain. Furthermore, a Multi-Scale Large Kernel (MSLK) module is employed to extract local features with small convolution kernels and capture long-range temporal dependencies with large convolution kernels in the time-domain. Experiments on RML2016.10a, RML2016.10b, and RML2018.01a datasets demonstrate that FAE-MSLKNet achieves state-of-the-art performance with improved parameter efficiency and reduced computational complexity, highlighting its potential for practical wireless communication applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that ultra-wideband systems are easily interfered by narrowband signals, In this paper, a novel ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter with dual-notch characteristics. This filter is mainly composed of Composition of a multimode resonator (MMR)and a folded dual-mode step-impedance resonator. Paralleling T-shaped SIR stubs in the basic MMR structure realizes the introduction of transmission zeros within the passband. At the same time, a pair of high-impedance stubs are also loaded to extend the upper stopband of the filter, and a folded dual-mode stepped impedance resonator is coupled below the filter to generate dual-notch frequencies. Through the electromagnetic simulation software HFSS for simulation optimization, the simulation results show that the passband of the filter is 3.4211.21GHz and its notch frequencies are 8.8GHz and 9.5GHz respectively. Point Pattern Matching Based on Spectra of Directed Graphs

We present a novel algorithm for point pattern matching by means of spectra of directed graphs. Given a feature point-set, we construct a weighted directed graph and skew-symmetric matrix associated with the graph. By using spectral decomposition of the matrix, we give a spectral representation of the feature points with half of the eigenvectors. We theoretically analyze that our method can well deal with the matching problem under affine transformation. The expreiments applied to synthetic data and real-world images show the effectiveness of our method.
