In daily life, it is easy to obtain a large number of images in the form of sets. How to extract discriminative information from a wide range of images become very important. Most of the existing image set classification methods based on collaborative representation assume that the images in the same set can affect each other, ignoring the interaction between sets. In order to solve the above problems, a joint learning based on discriminative representation and group collaborative measurement (DRGCM) is proposed. Through the deep subspace clustering algorithm, the set is accurately divided, and multiple local models are found to form a dictionary. In the training stage, a global projection matrix learning model is designed to make the dictionary have stronger representation ability of prototype points in the embedded space. In the testing phase, a class-specific projection matrix model is constructed around the test set to make the dictionary more discriminative to the test set in a specific embedding space. Finally, the excellent performance on Honda, Mobo and other database proves the effectiveness of the algorithm. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Aiming at the inability to reconstruct the frequency and the pattern of the traditional monopole antenna, an ultra-wideband monopole antenna with frequency reconstruction and pattern reconstruction is proposed. The antenna consists of a monopole antenna and a metasurface with a distance H1 between them. Using HFSS simulation software to simulate, the size of the monopole antenna is 30mm×30mm×1.6mm, and the center frequency is 4.3 GHz. The simulation results show that the impedance bandwidth of the antenna when S11 is less than -10 dB is 3.21-13.64 GHz. In this design, the antenna widens the bandwidth while realizing the frequency reconstruction and pattern reconstruction, and basically does not affect other performances. The simulation results are basically consistent with the measured results, indicating that the antenna has good gain and radiation characteristics in the working frequency band, and can be widely used in ultra-wideband communication systems. © 2022 IEEE.

Task-oriented dialogue systems (TOD) aim to help users complete specific tasks through multiple rounds of dialogue, in which Dialogue State Tracking (DST) is a key component. The training of DST models typically necessitates the availability of a substantial corpus of dialogue data with turn-level annotations. However, the collection of such data is both costly and inefficient. Despite the impressive performance of systems based on advanced large language models (LLMs), their closed-source nature restricts the potential for local deployment. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a new zero-shot slot-aware enhanced model (SAE), which introduces a novel coded prompting framework to enhance the DST capability of small parameter models in new domains and task scenarios. In particular, we have devised a prompting framework that employs code to refine task instructions. Furthermore, we have proposed a slot-aware question generation mechanism that generates slot-aware questions based on contextual details in accordance with the dialogue context, thereby enhancing the model's perception and matching capabilities for slots. In order to verify the effectiveness of the model, we conducted experiments on the MultiWOZ dataset. The results show that the SAE model has achieved significant performance improvements in zero-shot DST tasks.

As the largest source of technical information around the world, patents are regarded as an essential crystallization and carrier of knowledge and technological innovation. Patent transformation is conducive not only to enhancing economic efficiency, but also to improving productivity and the rational utilization of resources. There is an imbalance between high patent ownership and low transformation rates. We try to predict the occurrence of transformation events from the patent assignment. However, there are some challenges in predicting patent transformation: (1) how to capture transformation features of patents, especially combined with the transfer time factor. (2) how to predict patent transfer time effectively. To address these challenges, a Patent Transfer Time Forecasting Model (PTTFM) is proposed. The model includes: (1) extraction of time-varying features of patents. (2) the patent transfer time is forecast using a Neural Temporal Point Process. By testing the model on patents under different classifications, the experimental results are obtained to show that the proposed model is applicable to predict the timing of patent assignment within a certain time frame, especially one month. Our work may facilitate patent transformation while interpretability is ensured for transformation events. © 2023 IEEE.

The multi-section coupled transmission line is equivalent to the cascade of multi-section ladder impedance filters, which provides a basis for the research of broadband directional couplers and meets the needs of microwave systems. Using this method, a multi-section -15 dB stripline directional coupler was designed in the application frequency range of 0.7-3.7 GHz, and the directional coupler was improved by loading the branch compensation capacitor. And through the electromagnetic simulation software HFSS for simulation optimization. The simulation results show that the coupling degree of the coupler is about -15 dB in 0.7-3.7 GHz, the return loss is greater than 20 dB and the isolation is greater than 30 dB, the insertion loss is less than 0.33 dB, the in-band fluctuation is less than 1 dB, and the physical size is 38mm × 6 mm, which meets the design requirements of the -15 dB coupler. © 2022 IEEE.

Many phenomena in realistic complex systems can be explained by the synchronisation behavior of complex systems, such as cricket chirping in unison. The synchronisation behavior occurring on a hypernetwork can be used to explain the swarming behavior occurring on a multivariate interacting system, such as the synchronised forwarding of group messages. There is a lack of results related to phase synchronization of hypernetwork in the existing studies on the synchronization behavior of hypernetworks. To address this problem, this paper investigates the node-based and hyperedge-based phase synchronisation of a scale-free hypernetwork using the Kuramoto model with the order parameter r as the synchronisation degree indicator. The comparative analysis reveals that the phase synchronisation of the scale-free hypernetwork is related to the uniformity k of the hypernetwork but not to the number of nodes and hyperedges, and the phase synchronisation based on hyperedges is more likely to occur than that based on nodes as the coupling strength increases. In addition, the degree of phase synchronisation of scale-free hypernetworks is related to the number of new_nodes of newly added nodes when the hyperedge grows during the construction of the hypernetwork, which shows that the smaller the new_nodes is, the better the degree of synchronisation of the hypernetwork is. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In view of the problems of high energy consumption, long inventory time and low production efficiency in the production process of traditional aluminum extrusion machine, this paper establishes an efficient two-stage parallel scheduling optimization model based on the integration of flexible job shop scheduling and assembly sequence planning (IFJSS-ASP). On this basis, an evolutionary algorithm combining strong dominance relationship and simple grouping method (SDREA-SGM) is proposed. The algorithm utilizes a two-stage hybrid chromosome encoding and decoding method to establish a rational mapping from the decision space to the solution space. Furthermore, in order to prevent the model from easily falling into local optima, an adaptive intra-class and inter-class pairing selection strategy has been adopted by the algorithm. This enhances global search and improves local search ***, the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm are verified by solving problems of different scales. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper focuses on the two problems of the similar objects distraction and the lack of robustness for unseen object categories in semi-supervised video object segmentation task. Existing methods have achieved great results on the benchmark dataset, but these two problems still have not been completely solved. We propose the Robust Video Object Segmentation With Restricted Attention (RVOSR), which can suppress the effects caused by similar objects and filter out noise confusion from other irrelevant regions. Meanwhile augmenting the semantic information of features, which makes the features more suitable for video object segmentation task. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach and achieve the state-of-the-art performance on the widely-used VOS benchmarks including DAVIS-2016 (92.1% J& F), DAVIS-2017 (86.8% J& F) and YouTubeVOS-2019 (84.8%). © 2023 IEEE.

PHT-CAD: Efficient CAD Parametric Primitive Analysis with Progressive Hierarchical Tuning

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) plays a pivotal role in industrial manufacturing, yet 2D Parametric Primitive Analysis (PPA) remains underexplored due to two key challenges: structural constraint reasoning and advanced semantic understanding. To tackle these challenges, we first propose an Efficient Hybrid Parametrization (EHP) for better representing 2D engineering drawings. EHP contains four types of atomic component (i.e., point, line, circle, and arc). Additionally, we propose PHT-CAD, a novel 2D PPA framework that harnesses the modality alignment and reasoning capabilities of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for precise engineering drawing analysis. In PHT-CAD, we introduce four dedicated regression heads to predict corresponding atomic components. To train PHT-CAD, a three-stage training paradigm Progressive Hierarchical Tuning (PHT) is proposed to progressively enhance PHT-CAD’s capability to perceive individual primitives, infer structural constraints, and align annotation layers with their corresponding geometric representations. Considering that existing datasets lack complete annotation layers and real-world engineering drawings, we introduce ParaCAD, the first large-scale benchmark that explicitly integrates both the geometric and annotation layers. ParaCAD comprises over 10 million annotated drawings for training and 3,000 real-world industrial drawings with complex topological structures and physical constraints for test. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of PHT-CAD and highlight the practical significance of ParaCAD in advancing 2D PPA research. This paper considers the problem of approximating the infinite-horizon value function of the discrete-time switched LQR *** particular,the authors propose a new value iteration method to generate a sequence of monotonically decreasing functions that converges exponentially to the value *** method facilitates us to use coarse approximations resulting from faster but less accurate algorithms for further value iteration,and thus,the proposed approach is capable of achieving a better approximation for a given computation time compared with the existing *** numerical examples are presented in this paper to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
