In this paper, to exploit more discriminative information of the global-body and body-parts features, we present a novel deep multi-metric learning (DMML) network for person re-identification under the triplet framework. The main novelty of our learning framework lies in two aspects: 1) Unlike most existing metric learning-based approaches, which learn only one distance metric for comparison, our DMM-L method aims to learn different metrics for the global-body and body-parts features respectively by using convolutional neural network (CNN); 2) A new multi-metric loss function is proposed to train the DMML network, under which the distance of each negative pair is greater than that of each positive pair by a predefined margin, and the correlations of different metrics are maximized. Compared with the previous person re-identification methods that have shown state-of-the-art performances, our DMML approach can achieve competitive results on the challenging CUHK03, CUHKOl, VIPeR and iLIDS datasets.

To solve the springback problem of automotive covering parts, a springback compensation design method of Stamping die based on reverse modeling is researched. By the Alignment module in Poly Works software, springback analysis is quickly implemented. Then, According to the results of springback analysis, the springback compensation design method which used the smooth displacement adjustment theory is established. At last, Set an inner plate of wheel housing as example, the methods has been applied in springback analysis of the part and springback compensation design of the die-face, which effectively reduces the times of compensation in try pressing stage and improves productivity.

With the high frequent use of social applications on Android platform, the cache file privacy disclosure issues have become increasingly serious. To our best knowledge, there is no effective privacy protection solution for social applications cache files. In this paper, we analyze the present situation of social applications cache file leaks on Android platform, and provide a privacy disclosure assessment criterion based on file storage directories and security state machines. And a cache file privacy protection framework, X-Prcaf (Xposed-based-Protecting-Cache-File), is proposed, which can make social applications avoid privacy data leaks in running process. This framework mainly uses taint tracking technology, operating system hook technology, and cryptographic technology. It aims to protect the entire life cycle of the social applications cache files, by strategy pre-generation, real-time monitoring and security reinforcement. Experiments demonstrate that X-Prcaf has a good effect on the cache file leaks of social software.

In this paper, a new method is proposed to evaluate the performance of concurrent systems. A concurrent system consisting of multiple processes that communicate via message passing mechanisms is modeled by a Petri net, which is in turn represented by a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) of a restricted type. The equations describe the system state changes, and the solutions, also called state measures, can be used for the performance analysis such as estimating response time, throughput and efficiency. This method can avoid a state explosion problem encountered by the conventional methods based on Continuous-Time Markov Chains. Its application to an IBM business system is given as an example. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is very common disorder among the older people. Predicting mild cognitive impairment (MCI), an intermediate stage between normal cognition and dementia, in individuals with some symptoms of cognitive decline may have great influence on treatment choice and disease progression. In this work, a novel prediction model based on extreme learning machines algorithm was proposed to identify mild cognitive impairment using the information of some biomarkers, i.e., Position Emission Tomography (PET), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Firstly, each subject will be represented by three biomarkers using a vector with 201 dimensions after some essential pre-processing. Then, a prediction model based on extreme learning machine algorithm was trained to catch the difference between the patients and healthy persons. Finally, the model had been employed to identify identifying MCI participants from the normal people. Based on a dataset, including 99 MCI patients and 52 health controls, our proposed method achieved 70.86 % prediction accuracy with 67.68 % sensitivity at the precision of 76.92 %. Extensive experiments are performed to compare our method with state-of-the-art techniques, i.e., support vector machine (SVM) and SVM with fusion kernels. Experimental results demonstrate that proposed extreme learning machine is a powerful tool for predicting MCI with excellent performance and less time. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015.

The development of novel high-throughput experimental techniques makes it possible to comprehensively analyze biological data in health and disease. However, a large amount of data generated results in dramatic data-analytic challenges in discovery of 'signature' molecules, which are specific to different biological conditions (e.g. normal vs. disease, treated vs. untreated). Current statistical methods are effective only in the case their hypothesis can be matched. In this paper, we apply an ensemble statistical method to infer significant molecules. In our approach, four well-done and well-understanding statistical techniques had been used for the analysis to the experimental data, and then the results will be collected into an ensemble framework to find the high confident "significant" molecules which can distinguish the different experimental conditions. We evaluate the performance of our approach on a test dataset which deposited on GEO database with an access number of GSE45114. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

This paper concentrates on the evaluation system of hot topics in the online news about the emergency events. First, the overall technology framework of the system was established and description was formulated on the key issues need to be resolved prior to the evaluation of the hot topics. Focusing on the vector representation of the news documents and clustering algorithm of the news topics, a modified TF-IDF text representation model was formulated and an improved selection method of initial topic clustering center was established. The evaluation model of the hot topics was then established to evaluate the heat value of the clustered topics based on extracting websites feature parameters, such as the time properties of the news reports, reporting properties, and user attention. Finally, the paper takes news of 2011 Japan Earthquake as data source for algorism and model evaluation. The results showed that the identification and evaluation system of hot topics in online news about the emergency events was valid, and the evaluation result of hot topics by the systems agreed with the expected results. It lays a foundation for the subsequent studying about the tracking and evolution of the hot topics.

Traditional temporal logics such as LTL (Linear Temporal Logic) and CTL (Computation Tree Logic) have shown tremendous success in specifying and verifying hardware and software systems. However, this kind of logic can only model the dynamic behaviors for a single system, and fall short in capturing the joint and concurrent aspects in the composition of systems, such as the interactions and coordinations of agents in Multi-agent Systems. Although ATL (Alternating-time Temporal Logic) can solve the problem to a certain extent, by preceding the temporal operators with a selective path quantifier, to specify that the interactions between entities inside the system can make sure that there is a strategy to reach a certain state, it can not formalize the rational mental attitudes of the agents such as the Belief, Desire and Intention (BDI) which plays an essential role in decision making during cooperation with other agents. This paper will investigate this problem by proposing a logic of ATLBDI (Alternating-time Temporal Logic of Belief Desire and Intention) and discuss the algorithmic issues such as model checking algorithms and the computational complexity, along with examples to show its effectiveness. We conclude that model checking for ATLBDI is completely tractable and is in PTIME-Complete, which is quite an optimistic and promising result for further applications. © 2012 by Binary Information Press.

We study the asymptotic networking-theoretic multicast capacity bounds for random extended networks (REN) under Gaussian channel model, in which all wireless nodes are individually power-constrained. During the transmission, the power decays along path with attenuation exponent α >; 2. In REN, n nodes are randomly distributed in the square region of side length √n. There are n s randomly and independently chosen multicast sessions. Each multicast session has n d + 1 randomly chosen terminals, including one source and n d destinations. By effectively combining two types of routing and scheduling strategies, we analyze the asymptotic achievable throughput for all n s = ω(1) and nd. As a special case of our results, we show that for n s = Θ(n), the per-session multicast capacity for REN is of order Θ(1/√n d n) when nd = O(n/(log n) a+1 ) and is of order Θ(1/n d · (log n) -n/2 ) when n d = Ω(n/log n).
