This paper describes the transient electro-thermal properties of the bipolar transistor by a two-dimensional transient electro-thermal simulation, in which model the coupled heat conduction equation and drift-diffusion equations are solved. The backward difference scheme with the second-order accuracy was used to discretize the time derivative. The increment of bipolar transistor temperature will affect the drift and diffusion of carriers and thus its electrical characteristics. Through the transient study of electro-thermal characteristics of the bipolar transistor, the influence of the self-heating effect on bipolar transistor characteristic has considered in amplification mode. The developed model and results obtained in this work can be used to optimize the thermal design of bipolar transistor. © 2023 ACES.

Molecular optimization, which aims to discover improved molecules from a vast chemical search space, is a critical step in chemical development. Various artificial intelligence technologies have demonstrated high effectiveness and efficiency on molecular optimization tasks. However, few of these technologies focus on balancing property optimization with constraint satisfaction, making it difficult to obtain high-quality molecules that not only possess desirable properties but also meet various constraints. To address this issue, we propose a constrained multi-property molecular optimization framework (CMOMO), which is a flexible and efficient method to simultaneously optimize multiple molecular properties while satisfying several druglike constraints. CMOMO improves multiple properties of molecules with constraints based on dynamic cooperative optimization, which dynamically handles the constraints across various scenarios. Besides, CMOMO evaluates multiple properties within discrete chemical spaces cooperatively with the evolution of molecules within an implicit molecular space to guide the evolutionary search. Experimental results show the superior performance of the proposed CMOMO over five state-of-the-art molecular optimization methods on two benchmark tasks of simultaneously optimizing multiple non-biological activity properties while satisfying two structural constraints. Furthermore, the practical applicability of CMOMO is verified on two practical tasks, where it identified a collection of candidate ligands of β2-adrenoceptor GPCR and candidate inhibitors of glycogen synthase kinase-3β with high properties and under drug-like constraints. Community detection is widely used in network analysis, which seeks to divide network nodes into distinct communities based on the topology structure and attribute information of the network. Due to its interpretability, nonnegative matrix factorization becomes an essential method for community detection. However, it decomposes the adjacency matrix and attribute matrix separately, which do not tightly incorporate topology and attributes. And in the problem of division inconsistency based on topology and attributes caused by the mismatch between the topology similarity and attribute similarity of paired nodes, it ignores the difference in the matching degree of each attribute and each node. In this paper, we propose a nonnegative matrix factorization algorithm for community detection (MTACD) based on the matching degree between topology and attribute. First, we employ an attribute embedding mechanism to enhance the node-attribute relationship. Second, we design an attribute matching degree and a node topology-and-attribute matching degree in order to resolve the mismatch between topology and attribute similarity. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for remote sensing image semantic segmentation in various applications. The key to semantic segmentation lies in the ability to globally comprehend the input image. While recent transformer-based methods can effectively capture global contextual information, they suffer from high computational complexity, particularly when it comes to ultra-high resolution (UHR) remote sensing images, it is even more challenging for these methods to achieve a satisfactory balance between accuracy and computation speed. To address these issues, we propose in this paper a CNN-based dual-encoder U-Net for effective and efficient UHR image segmentation. Our method incorporates dual encoders into the symmetrical framework of U-Net. The dual encoders endow the network with strong global and local perception capabilities simultaneously, while the U-Net's symmetrical structure guarantees the network's robust decoding ability. Additionally, multi-path skip connections ensure ample information exchange between the dual encoders, as well as between the encoders and decoders. Furthermore, we proposes a context-aware modulation fusion module that guides the encoder-encoder and encoder-decoder data fusion through global receptive fields. Experiments conducted on public UHR remote sensing datasets such as the Inria Aerial and DeepGlobe have demonstrated the effectiveness of proposed method. Specifically on the Inria Aerial dataset, our method achieves a 77.42% mIoU which outperforms the baseline [1] by 3.14% while maintaining comparable inference speed. © 2008-2012 IEEE.

The Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) is a well-known metric for evaluating instance-level long-tail learning problems. In the past two decades, many AUC optimization methods have been proposed to improve model performance under long-tail distributions. In this paper, we explore AUC optimization methods in the context of pixel-level long-tail semantic segmentation, a much more complicated scenario. This task introduces two major challenges for AUC optimization techniques. On one hand, AUC optimization in a pixel-level task involves complex coupling across loss terms, with structured inner-image and pairwise inter-image dependencies, complicating theoretical analysis. On the other hand, we find that mini-batch estimation of AUC loss in this case requires a larger batch size, resulting in an unaffordable space complexity. To address these issues, we develop a pixel-level AUC loss function and conduct a dependency-graph-based theoretical analysis of the algorithm's generalization ability. Additionally, we design a Tail-Classes Memory Bank (T-Memory Bank) to manage the significant memory demand. Finally, comprehensive experiments across various benchmarks confirm the effectiveness of our proposed AUCSeg method. Mass spectrometry serves as a pivotal tool for the analysis of small molecules through an examination of their mass-to-charge ratios. Recent advancements in deep learning have markedly enhanced the analysis of mass spectrometric data, facilitating the prediction of novel small molecule structures without the necessity of extensive databases. Nonetheless, the paucity of annotated datasets impedes the efficacious training of molecular generation models predicated on MS2 spectra. To mitigate this limitation, we introduce ctMSNovelist, an avant-garde method that amalgamates pre-training, fine-tuning, and co-training techniques to construct a more precise model for the generation of molecular structures from tandem mass spectrometry data. This novel approach augments both the training regimen and the predictive accuracy of the MSNovelist model, thereby surmounting the obstacle of limited data. The methodology commences with the pretraining of a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) to generate molecular fingerprints derived from SMILES strings. Subsequently, it undergoes fine-tuning to emulate noisy fingerprints originating from mass spectrometry (MS) data. Concurrently, MSNovelist is co-trained utilizing these simulated fingerprints, inclusive of the highly noisy variants produced in the early stages of VAE training. The incorporation of a substantial volume of noisy data serves to enhance model accuracy and avert overfitting. We evaluated ctMSNovelist using the GNPS dataset and attained a SMILES prediction accuracy of 48.8%, representing a 4.1% enhancement over MSNovelist. It is pertinent to note that the sole distinction between ctMSNovelist and MSNovelist in this experiment was the training process. The direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation approach utilizing the adaptive nulling array framework has gained widespread attention due to its low complexity. However, in impulsive noise environments, traditional least mean squares (LMS) algorithm may experience a sharp decline in performance or even fail to work properly. To address this challenge, we propose a DOA estimation approach designed for impulsive noise situations based on a robust nonlinear function. In addition, the algorithm can mitigate bias caused by auxiliary array noise and uses the variable step-size strategy to enhance its performance. Furthermore, the mean stability of the proposed approach is also assessed. Simulation results demonstrate its superior performance in impulsive noise environments.

A kernel Weibull M-transform maximum-versoria-criterion (KWMMVC) algorithm is constructed, which is to use for nonlinear system identification. The KWMMVC algorithm ingeniously integrates the Weibull M-transform scheme into the maximum-versoria-criterion to formulate a novel cost function. The ability of KWMMVC algorithm to identify nonlinear channels under various impulse noise environments is tested in the kernel adaptive filters, and the results proved its superior performance.

In this paper, a novel wire-bonding and BGA package is applied to a highly integrated MMIC. The novel compensation component of the bonding wires is composed of a capacitive strip-line and an inductive via below the transmission line. In addition, A large amount of heat is generated by high-intensity chip, leading to a decrease in transmission performance. Multilayered system in package is designed to improve the heat dissipation capability of chip. Multi physics field simulation is introduced to verify the effectiveness of the design. The proposed multilayered system in package is made using LTCC process and loaded with low noise amplifier chip. The return loss of the is better than 10dB and the gain is greater than 10dB in the frequency range of DC-20GHz.
