Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology is now recognized as an efficient means of transferring power because having numerous advantages over conventional wired power transfer system. The phase delays, for example induced in the sampling process, the algorithm implementation process, the signal transduction process, etc. are widely found during the implementation of WPT system, which significantly degrade the system performance. Moreover, it would be extremely necessary to implement the Soft-Switching of the converter and the necessary dead time imposed by the drivers should be compatible with the resonant current phase lag control. This paper proposes a Direct Phase Control (DPC) approach, based on Second-Order Generalized Integrator Phase-Locked Loop (SOGI-PLL), to provide accurate phase compensation and stable ZVS operation in the WPT. The DPC determines the phase difference ?θ of WPT, which include the phase difference θ_l between the output voltage and current of the converter and the phase delay θ_(l″)derived from the sampling process. The SOGI-PLL provides the phase of system for adjusting the output voltage frequency of the converter dynamically. Experimental results convincingly demonstrate that with the proposed method the phase delay can be compensated accurately and the ZVS operation can be achieved simultaneously.

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a type of access-control technology that is used by diverse content providers to restrict the use of digital content. Enterprise Digital Rights Management (E-DRM) is an application of DRM techniques for managing the control of access to sensitive documents in an enterprise. In this paper, we propose a group key distribution system for E-DRM based on the concept of a secret-sharing mechanism and the generalized Aryabhata remainder theorem (GART). To the best of our knowledge, no previous publications related to E-DRM technologies have presented the group key distribution system that we propose. In our system, different groups of enterprise members within the enterprise obtain different digital content in parallel without collision by using their group’s unique session key;all members within each group share a common session key to decrypt the same digital documents to acquire the correct content. We proved that our system achieves the goal of providing high security, which includes preventing inside and outside attacks and offering forward and backward secrecy. © 2015.

Voice conversion (VC) systems can transform audio to mimic another speaker’s voice, thereby attacking speaker verification (SV) systems. However, ongoing studies on source speaker verification (SSV) are hindered by limited data availability and methodological constraints. This paper presents the Source Speaker Tracking Challenge (SSTC) on STL 2024, which aims to fill the gap in the database and benchmark for the SSV task. In this study, we generate a large-scale converted speech database with 16 common VC methods and train a batch of baseline systems based on the MFA-Conformer architecture. In addition, we introduced a related task called conversion method recognition, with the aim of assisting the SSV task. We expect SSTC to be a platform for advancing the development of the SSV task and provide further insights into the performance and limitations of current SV systems against VC attacks. Multifractal analyses of daily rainfall time series in Pearl River basin of China

The multifractal properties of daily rainfall time series at the stations in Pearl River basin of China over periods of up to 45 years are examined using the universal multifractal approach based on the multiplicative cascade model and the multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis (MF-DFA). The results from these two kinds of multifractal analyses show that the daily rainfall time series in this basin have multifractal behavior in two different time scale ranges. It is found that the empirical multifractal moment function K ( q ) of the daily rainfall time series can be fitted very well by the universal multifractal model (UMM). The estimated values of the conservation parameter H from UMM for these daily rainfall data are close to zero indicating that they correspond to conserved fields. After removing the seasonal trend in the rainfall data, the estimated values of the exponent h ( 2 ) from MF-DFA indicate that the daily rainfall time series in Pearl River basin exhibit no long-term correlations. It is also found that K ( 2 ) and elevation series are negatively correlated. It shows a relationship between topography and rainfall variability.

Direct quantification for coronary artery stenosis using multiview learning

The quantification of the coronary artery stenosis is of significant clinical importance in coronary artery diseases diagnosis and intervention treatment. It aims to quantify the morphological indices of the coronary artery lesions such as minimum lumen diameter, reference vessel diameter, lesion length and these indices are the reference of the interventional stent placement. In this study, we propose a direct multiview quantitative coronary angiography (DMQCA) model as an automatic clinical tool to quantify the coronary artery stenosis from X-ray coronary angiography images. The proposed DMQCA model consists of a multiview module with two attention mechanisms, a key-frame module and a regression module, to achieve direct accurate multiple-index estimation. The multi-view module comprehensively learns the spatio-temporal features of coronary arteries through a three-dimensional convolution. The attention mechanisms of each view focus on the subtle feature of the lesion region and capture the important context information. The keyframe module learns the subtle features of the stenosis through successive dilated residual blocks. The regression module finally generates the indice estimation from multiple features. We evaluate the proposed model over 2100 X-ray coronary angiography images collected from 105 subjects from two viewpoints. Compared to other direct quantification methods, our DMQCA model achieves more accurate quantification, enabling to provide a patient-specic assessment of coronary artery stenosis. The improved Hagedorn wavepacket method for semiclassical Schrödinger equation

The Hagedorn wavepacket method is an important numerical method for solving the semiclassical time-dependent Schrödinger equation. In this paper, a new semi-discretization in space is obtained by wavepacket operator. In a sense, such semi-discretization is equivalent to the Hagedorn wavepacket method, but this discretization is more intuitive to show the advantages of wavepacket methods. Moreover, we apply the multi-time-step method and the Magnus-expansion to obtain the improved algorithms in time-stepping computation. The improved algorithms are of the Gauss–Hermite spectral accuracy to approximate the analytical solution of the semiclassical Schrödinger equation. And for the given accuracy, the larger time stepsize can be used for the higher oscillation in the semiclassical Schrödinger equation. The superiority is shown by the error estimation and numerical experiments.

A Novel Preference-Driven Dynamic Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm for Solving Dynamic Multi-Objective Problems

Most studies in dynamic multi-objective optimization have predominantly focused on rapidly and accurately tracking changes in the Pareto optimal front (POF) and Pareto optimal set (POS) when the environment undergoes changes. However, there are real-world scenarios where it is necessary to simultaneously solve changing objective functions and satisfy the preference of Decision Makers (DMs). In particular, the DMs may be only interested in a partial region of the POF, known as the region of interest (ROI), rather than requiring the entire POF. To meet the challenge of simultaneously predicting a changing POF and/or POS and dynamic ROI, this paper proposes a new dynamic multi-objective evolutionary algorithm (DMOEAs) based on the preference. The proposed algorithm consists of three key components: an evolutionary direction adjustment strategy based on changing reference points to accommodate shifts in preferences, an angle-based search strategy for tracking the varying ROI, and a hybrid prediction strategy that combines linear prediction models and population manifold estimation within the ROI to ensure convergence and distribution in scenarios where preferences remain unchanged. Experimental studies conducted on 16 widely used benchmark problems and empirical results demonstrate the significant advantages of the proposed algorithm over existing state-of-the-art DMOEAs. © 2024, The Authors. Dynamic Constrained Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithm Based on Co-Evolution and Diversity Enhancement

Dynamic constrained multi-objective optimization problems (DCMOPs) involve objectives, constraints, and parameters that change over time. This kind of problem presents a greater challenge for evolutionary algorithms because it requires the population to quickly track the changing pareto-optimal set (PS) while being subject to constrained limitations and maintaining a good distribution of solutions. This paper proposes a dynamic constrained multi-objective optimization algorithm based on co-evolution and diversity enhancement (CEDE). The static optimization involves the co-evolution of three populations. We evolve the first population to prioritize the preservation of feasible individuals. The second population is evolved to assist the first population in finding better feasible regions, while the third population is evolved to aid the first population in exploring feasible regions comprehensively. At different stages, the co-evolution of these three populations will also be adjusted. Additionally, to prevent the elimination of potentially valuable infeasible individuals due to pareto domination, we employ an archive set to store and update these individuals, providing more useful information for both static and dynamic optimization. When the environment changes, we propose a diversity enhancement strategy, which includes a diversity maintenance strategy and a center point-based exploration strategy. The experimental results demonstrate that CEDE is highly competitive in handling DCMOPs compared to several state-of-the-art algorithms. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.
