A single-layer, polarization adjustable circular-polarization (CP) antenna with four arc-like slots has been designed for GPS L2 band. The created antenna uses four arc-like slots to tune the phase difference to form a CP antenna, where the arc-like slots with a specific size relationship are etched on the patch. By adjusting the radius of the arc-like slots, Left-handed -circular-polarization (LHCP) and Right-handed-circular-polarization (RHCP) can be realized easily with simple structure. Simulations and optimizations show that the constructed CP-antenna has a good axial-ratio bandwidth of 10 MHz and impedance-bandwidth of 40 MHz and 30 MHz for LHCP and RHCP application.

With continuous advancements in artificial intelligence(AI), automatic piano-playing robots have become subjects of cross-disciplinary interest. However, in most studies, these robots served merely as objects of observation with limited user engagement or interaction. To address this issue, we propose a user-friendly and innovative interaction system based on the principles of greedy algorithms. This system features three modules: score management, performance control, and keyboard interactions. Upon importing a custom score or playing a note via an external device, the system performs on a virtual piano in line with user inputs. This system has been successfully integrated into our dexterous manipulator-based piano-playing device, which significantly enhances user interactions.

In this paper, Q-value theory of conventional antennas is used to analyze reasons of low radiation performance of acoustics promoted antennas, where we modify the radiating structure of existing acoustics promoting antenna using the simulations to get the required improvement on radiation performance. The simulation experiments are carried out in the finite element simulation software Comsol Multiphysics to analyze the radiating performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Recently, the development of LiDAR in the field of vehicle has made the core micromirror with essential characteristics of large tilted angle and small size. We proposed a two-dimensional electrostatically actuated MEMS micromirror with a slender torsion bar. With the modified theoretical formula, two different torsional modes and corresponding torsional frequencies of the micromirror are obtained, which are then compared to the results by finite element simulation, and revealed a good agreement. The rotation angle of the micromirror is improved through optimizing the micromirror structure. Meanwhile, it is found that the driving voltage and the moment of inertia introduce the softening behavior of the spring, which will then affect the torsion frequency. To prevent the torsion bar stress is too large, with the sinusoidal driving voltage of 75V and 100V, the corresponding mechanical rotation angles are 14.8° and 15.3° at a driving frequency of 340.5Hz and 1500Hz, respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

Both real and fake news in various domains, such as politics, health, and entertainment are spread via online social media every day, necessitating fake news detection for multiple domains. Among them, fake news in specific domains like politics and health has more serious potential negative impacts on the real world (e.g., the infodemic led by COVID-19 misinformation). Previous studies focus on multi-domain fake news detection, by equally mining and modeling the correlation between domains. However, these multi-domain methods suffer from a seesaw problem: the performance of some domains is often improved at the cost of hurting the performance of other domains, which could lead to an unsatisfying performance in specific domains. To address this issue, we propose a Domain- and Instance-level Transfer Framework for Fake News Detection (DITFEND), which could improve the performance of specific target domains. To transfer coarse-grained domain-level knowledge, we train a general model with data of all domains from the meta-learning perspective. To transfer fine-grained instance-level knowledge and adapt the general model to a target domain, we train a language model on the target domain to evaluate the transferability of each data instance in source domains and re-weigh each instance’s contribution. Offline experiments on two datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of DITFEND. Online experiments show that DITFEND brings additional improvements over the base models in a real-world scenario. © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. The investigation of the optoelectronic characteristics of all-perovskite tandem solar cells holds pivotal significance in surpassing the Shockley-Queisser limit of single-junction perovskite solar cells. Initially, we established two distinct four-terminal tandem solar cells (4T TSCs) composed of different perovskite materials: FA 0.8 Cs 0.2 Pb(I 0.7 Br 0.3 ) 3 (E g = 1.75 eV) and MASnI 3 (E g = 1.3 eV). Through numerical simulations of the optoelectronic characteristics of 4T TSCs, we evaluated the performance of the TSCs at varying perovskite layer thicknesses. Following optimization, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the 4T TSCs increased from the initial 30.34% to 33.54%. Through an in-depth analysis of the cell and energy distribution in TSCs, it was observed that the light-coupling layer significantly influenced the PCE of the 4T TSCs. Upon optimizing the light-coupling layer, the PCE of the TSC increased from the initial 30.34% to 34.7%. This study provides crucial theoretical and experimental foundations for optimizing the performance of all-perovskite TSCs.
