A compact dual polarization dipole antenna for the application to 5G base station is investigated, which is composed of radiator, baluns, and metal reflector, having an impendence bandwidth of 23.6% with VSWR<1.5. The dual-polarized antenna has a high ports isolation, high cross-polarization and high gain in operating bandwidth. The results indicate that this work can operate in entire N78 band and provide potential application for 5G base station.

We presents a squared sine functioned adaptive (SSA) algorithm for acoustic-echo-cancellation (AEC) applications in-presence-of impulsive noise. In the development of the SSA algorithm, a novel cost function is constructed by exerting a sliding window type squared sine function on the estimation error vector, which provides robustness in the impulsive-noise environments and speed-ups convergence when the input is colored signals. Theoretical models for predicting the mean-weight-behavior, transient excess-mean-square-error (EMSE) behavior, and tracking behavior are presented. Moreover, the optimal step size and minimum EMSE of the tracking performance are provided. The computation complexity of SSA algorithm has also been investigated. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the theoretical results match well with simulation results and show the superiority of the proposed SSA algorithm against known algorithms in AEC applications. © 2023, CC BY.

In this paper, applying the Newton method, we transform the complex continuous-time algebraic Riccati matrix equation into a Lyapunov equation. Then, we introduce an efficient general alternating-direction implicit (GADI) method to solve the Lyapunov equation. The inexact Newton-GADI method is presented to save computational amount effectively. Moreover, we analyze the convergence of the Newton-GADI method. The convergence rate of the Newton-GADI and Newton-ADI methods is compared by analyzing their spectral radii. Furthermore, we give a way to select the quasi-optimal parameter. Large sparse linear algebraic systems can be found in a variety of scientific and engineering fields, and many scientists strive to solve them in an efficient and robust manner. In this paper, we propose an interpretable neural solver, the Fourier Neural Solver (FNS), to address them. FNS is based on deep learning and Fast Fourier transform. Because the error between the iterative solution and the ground truth involves a wide range of frequency modes, FNS combines a stationary iterative method and frequency space correction to eliminate different components of the error. Local Fourier analysis reveals that the FNS can pick up on the error components in frequency space that are challenging to eliminate with stationary methods. Multitask kernel-learning parameter prediction method for solving time-dependent linear systems

Matrix splitting iteration methods play a vital role in solving large sparse linear systems. Their performance heavily depends on the splitting parameters, however, the approach of selecting optimal splitting parameters has not been well developed. In this paper, we present a multitask kernel-learning parameter prediction method to automatically obtain relatively optimal splitting parameters, which contains simultaneous multiple parameters prediction and a data-driven kernel learning. For solving time-dependent linear systems, including linear differential systems and linear matrix systems, we give a new matrix splitting Kronecker product method, as well as its convergence analysis and preconditioning strategy. Numerical results illustrate our methods can save an enormous amount of time in selecting the relatively optimal splitting parameters compared with the exists methods. Moreover, our iteration method as a preconditioner can effectively accelerate GMRES. As the dimension of systems increases, all the advantages of our approaches becomes significantly. Especially, for solving the differential Sylvester matrix equation, the speedup ratio can reach tens to hundreds of times when the scale of the system is larger than one hundred thousand. The complementary benefits from visible and thermal infrared data are widely utilized in various computer vision task, such as visual tracking, semantic segmentation and object detection, but rarely explored in Multiple Object Tracking (MOT). In this work, we contribute a large-scale Visible-Thermal video benchmark for MOT, called VT-MOT. VT-MOT has the following main advantages. 1) The data is large scale and high diversity. VT-MOT includes 582 video sequence pairs, 401k frame pairs from surveillance, drone, and handheld platforms. 2) The cross-modal alignment is highly accurate. We invite several professionals to perform both spatial and temporal alignment frame by frame. 3) The annotation is dense and high-quality. VT-MOT has 3.99 million annotation boxes annotated and double-checked by professionals, including heavy occlusion and object re-acquisition (object disappear and reappear) challenges. To provide a strong baseline, we design a simple yet effective tracking framework, which effectively fuses temporal information and complementary information of two modalities in a progressive manner, for robust visible-thermal MOT. A comprehensive experiment are conducted on VT-MOT and the results prove the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed method compared with state-of-the-art methods. In this work, we design a multi-category inverse design neural network to map ordered periodic structure to physical parameters. The neural network model consists of two parts, a classifier and Structure-Parameter-Mapping (SPM) subnets. The classifier is used to identify structure, and the SPM subnets are used to predict physical parameters for desired structures. We also present an extensible reciprocal-space data augmentation method to guarantee the rotation and translation invariant of periodic structures. We apply the proposed network model and data augmentation method to two-dimensional diblock copolymers based on the Landau-Brazovskii model. Results show that the multi-category inverse design neural network is high accuracy in predicting physical parameters for desired structures. An essential challenge in graph data analysis and mining is to simply and effectively deal with large-scale network data that is expanding dynamically. Although batch-based parallel graph computation frameworks have better accuracy, they cannot process incremental data on time and need to be recomputed. To process real-time data, stream processing applications need to be redeveloped, which increases the redundancy of work, and some existing dynamic graph computation schemes are not generalizable. This paper proposes a unified stream and batch graph computing model(USBGM). The model is compatible with both stream and batch graph computing. Graph operators and algorithms developed based on the model can handle stream and batch graph data in a unified manner. keyphrase generation (KPG) aims to automatically generate a collection of phrases representing the core concepts of a given document. The dominant paradigms in KPG include ONE2SEQ and ONE2SET. Recently, there has been increasing interest in applying large language models (LLMs) to KPG. Our preliminary experiments reveal that it is challenging for a single model to excel in both recall and precision. Further analysis shows that: 1) the ONE2SET paradigm owns the advantage of high recall, but suffers from improper assignments of supervision signals during training;2) LLMs are powerful in keyphrase selection, but existing selection methods often make redundant selections. Given these observations, we introduce a generate-then-select framework decomposing KPG into two steps, where we adopt a ONE2SET-based model as generator to produce candidates and then use an LLM as selector to select keyphrases from these candidates. Particularly, we make two important improvements on our generator and selector: 1) we design an Optimal Transport-based assignment strategy to address the above improper assignments;2) we model the keyphrase selection as a sequence labeling task to alleviate redundant selections. Experimental results on multiple benchmark datasets show that our framework significantly surpasses state-ofthe- art models, especially in absent keyphrase prediction.
