a U-shaped structure, based on the equivalent lumped circuit of differential transmission line, is proposed to suppress the noise of differential-common-mode conversion. With the equivalent lumped circuit, the cause of mode conversion noise is analyzed. The U-shaped structure has reached the suppression level of 24.31 dB from DC to 10 GHz according to the simulated result. © 2022 IEEE.

A pattern reconfigurable dual-port multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna system utilizing Characteristic mode theory is proposed at 2.45GHz. By using the selective incentives of four characteristic modes, six pairs of balanced inductive exciter (BIEs) and the antenna are integrated to realize the selective incentives of the four patterns. In the feeder network, by changing the state of the PIN diode, the two ports realize selective incentive to obtain four working states. The test results show that the pattern reconfiguration technique is reliable and can be used in other types of structures. © 2021 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

Graph neural networks have shown excellent performance in many fields owing to their powerful processing ability of graph data. In recent years, federated graph neural network has become a reasonable solution due to the enactment of privacy-related regulations. However, frequent communication between the coordinator and participants in federated graph neural network results in longer model training time and consumes many communication resources. To address this challenge, in this paper, we propose a novel semi-asynchronous federated graph learning communication protocol that simultaneously alleviates the negative impact of stragglers(slow participants) and accelerate the training process in the unsupervised federated graph neural network scenario. First, the weighted enforced synchronization strategy is intended to preserve the information carried by stragglers while preventing their stale models from harming the global model update. Second, the adaptive local update strategy is developed to make the local model of the participant with poor computing performance as close as possible to the global model. Experiments combine federated learning with graph contrastive learning. The results demonstrate that our proposed protocol outperforms the existing protocols in real-world networks. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, a compact and high selectivity millimeter wave on-chip band-pass filter using GaAs pHEMT technology is proposed. A compact lumped element unit, which consists of a series LC resonator and an extra capacitor, is used to produce a transmission zero near the pass-band without occupying much area. The proposed filter consists two of the proposed resonators. An additional series resonator is grounded to produce a transmission zero. The area of the proposed filter is only 0.816×0.607mm2. The presented filter is worked on 25.5 GHz, the 3-dB bandwidth is 21.5 GHz to 29.5GHz. The insertion loss is around 1.1dB, and the return loss is better than 17dB. © 2021 IEEE.

Community detection is widely used in network analysis, which seeks to divide network nodes into distinct communities based on the topology structure and attribute information of the network. Due to its interpretability, nonnegative matrix factorization becomes an essential method for community detection. However, it decomposes the adjacency matrix and attribute matrix separately, which do not tightly incorporate topology and attributes. And in the problem of division inconsistency based on topology and attributes caused by the mismatch between the topology similarity and attribute similarity of paired nodes, it ignores the difference in the matching degree of each attribute and each node. In this paper, we propose a nonnegative matrix factorization algorithm for community detection (MTACD) based on the matching degree between topology and attribute. First, we employ an attribute embedding mechanism to enhance the node-attribute relationship. Second, we design an attribute matching degree and a node topology-and-attribute matching degree in order to resolve the mismatch between topology and attribute similarity. Experiments on both real-world and synthetic networks demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

DisenGCD: A Meta Multigraph-assisted Disentangled Graph Learning Framework for Cognitive Diagnosis

Existing graph learning-based cognitive diagnosis (CD) methods have made relatively good results, but their student, exercise, and concept representations are learned and exchanged in an implicit unified graph, which makes the interaction-agnostic exercise and concept representations be learned poorly, failing to provide high robustness against noise in students’ interactions. Besides, lower-order exercise latent representations obtained in shallow layers are not well explored when learning the student representation. To tackle the issues, this paper suggests a meta multigraph-assisted disentangled graph learning framework for CD (DisenGCD), which learns three types of representations on three disentangled graphs: student-exercise-concept interaction, exercise-concept relation, and concept dependency graphs, respectively. Specifically, the latter two graphs are first disentangled from the interaction graph. Then, the student representation is learned from the interaction graph by a devised meta multigraph learning module;multiple learnable propagation paths in this module enable current student latent representation to access lower-order exercise latent representations, which can lead to more effective nad robust student representations learned;the exercise and concept representations are learned on the relation and dependency graphs by graph attention modules. Finally, a novel diagnostic function is devised to handle three disentangled representations for prediction. Experiments show better performance and robustness of DisenGCD than state-of-the-art CD methods and demonstrate the effectiveness of the disentangled learning framework and meta multigraph module. Few-shot font generation (FFG) aims to learn the target style from a limited number of reference glyphs and generate the remaining glyphs in the target font. Previous works focus on disentangling the content and style features of glyphs, combining the content features of the source glyph with the style features of the reference glyph to generate new glyphs. However, the disentanglement is challenging due to the complexity of glyphs, often resulting in glyphs that are influenced by the style of the source glyph and prone to artifacts. We propose IF-Font, a novel paradigm which incorporates Ideographic Description Sequence (IDS) instead of the source glyph to control the semantics of generated glyphs. To achieve this, we quantize the reference glyphs into tokens, and model the token distribution of target glyphs using corresponding IDS and reference tokens. The proposed method excels in synthesizing glyphs with neat and correct strokes, and enables the creation of new glyphs based on provided IDS. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method greatly outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both one-shot and few-shot settings, particularly when the target styles differ significantly from the training font styles. We proposed a high isolation design between two broadband dual polarization transceiver antennas in this paper. It employs periodic metal isolation walls with equal spacing and height to strongly suppress the low-frequency band (LB) coupling. Covering the vertical and horizontal surfaces of the metal with flexible graphene high resistive metasurfaces that easily conform to the structure improves 40 dB in isolation between different polarizations at 6–18 GHz. This device has less impact on the radiation pattern of the antenna. This design not only enhances the isolation between different polarizations but also optimizes equipment heat dissipation and improves device performance.

Social media is the platform for most people to share their opinions, emojis are also widely used to express moods, emotions, and feelings on social media. There have been many researched on emojis and sentiment analysis. However, existing methods mainly face two limitations. First, since deep learning relies on large amounts of labeled data, the training samples of emoji are not enough to achieve the training effect. Second, they consider the sentiment of emojis and texts separately, not fully exploring the impact of emojis on the sentiment polarity of texts. In this paper, we propose a joint learning sentiment analysis method incorporating emoji-augmentation, and the method has two advantages compared with the existing work. First, We optimize the easy data augmentation method so that the newly generated sentences can also preserve the semantic information of emojis, which relieves the problem of insufficient training data with emojis. Second, it fuses emojis and text features to allow the model to better learn the mutual emotional semantics between text and emojis, jointly training emojis and words to obtain the sentence representations containing more semantic information of both emojis and text. Our experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance compared with several baselines on two datasets. © 2022 IEEE.
