In recent years,there are numerous studies on chaotic systems with special equilibrium curves having various shapes such as circle,butterfly,heart and *** paper describes a new 3-D chaotic dynamical system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed chaotic system has two quadratic,two cubic and two quartic nonlinear *** is noted that the proposed chaotic system has a hidden attractor since it has an infinite number of equilibrium *** is also established that the proposed chaotic system exhibits multi-stability with two coexisting chaotic attractors for the same parameter values but differential initial states.A detailed bifurcation analysis with respect to variations in the system parameters is portrayed for the new chaotic system with capsule equilibrium *** have shown MATLAB plots to illustrate the capsule equilibrium curve,phase orbits of the new chaotic system,bifurcation diagrams and *** an engineering application,we have proposed a speech cryptosystem with a numerical algorithm,which is based on our novel 3-D chaotic system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed speech cryptosystem follows its security evolution and implementation on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)*** results show that the proposed encryption system utilizes 33%of the FPGA,while the maximum clock frequency is 178.28 MHz.

In this paper, a circularly polarized annular slit antenna with a center frequency of 2.15 GHz realized through a metasurface was designed. The metasurface is made up of 5×5 periodic units. The impedance bandwidth of annular slit antenna is 2.08-2.5 GHz and after loading the metasurface the frequency range in which the axis ratio of the antenna is less than 3dB is 2.12-2.18 GHz and the gain reaches 3.5 dBi. The linear polarization antenna can be directly converted into circular polarization antenna by loading the metasurface. Reserch show that antenna loaded with metasurface can be widely used in electronic communication field.

The identification of disease modules has attracted increasing attention due to the importance in comprehending pathogenesis of complex diseases. Most of the existing methods were based on the protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks with the incompleteness and incorrectness of the interactome, which results in many disease-related proteins and pathways not within their disease modules. In this paper, we propose a method named IDMCSS to effectively identify disease modules by adding some potential interactions and removing some incorrect interactions in the existing human PPI network. Firstly, the connective similarity and semantic similarity are calculated between the known disease proteins and each of their neighbors. Then, the network is adjusted by adding the interactions with large connective and semantic similarity, and removing those with small connective and semantic similarity. Further, the proteins are sorted in the descending order according to the similarity to the known disease proteins, and the sorted proteins are added into a candidate node set one by one until a certain biological information is not enriched in the candidate node set. Finally, the connected subnetwork with the largest number of nodes in the candidate node set is selected as the disease module. The disease modules identified by IDMCSS involve crucial biological processes of related diseases and can predict 12 targets for drug intervention. The experimental results on asthma demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison to existing algorithms for disease module identification. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

High-Accurate and Eﬀicient Numerical Algorithms for the Self-Consistent Field Theory of Liquid-Crystalline Polymers

In this paper, we develop and investigate numerical methods for the self-consistent field theory (SCFT) of liquid crystalline polymers. Both the Flory-Huggins interaction potential and the Maier-Saupe orientational interaction are considered, enabling simultaneous exploration of microphase separation and liquid crystalline order in these systems. The main challenge in numerically solving this complex system lies in solving 6-dimensional (3D spatial + 2D orientation + 1D time) partial differential equations and performing nonlinear iterations to optimize the fields. We present ten numerical algorithms for solving high-dimensional PDEs and give an evaluation criterion of choosing the most appropriate PDE solver both from theoretical and numerical performance. Results demonstrate that coupling the fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme with Fourier pseudo-spectral methods and spherical harmonic transformations is superior compared to other algorithms. We develop two nonlinear iteration schemes, alternating direction iteration method and Anderson mixing method, and design an adaptive technique to enhance the stability of the Anderson mixing method. Moreover, the cascadic multi-level (CML) technique further accelerates the SCFT computation when applied to these iteration methods. Meanwhile, an approach to optimize the computational domain is developed. To demonstrate the power of our approaches, we investigate the self-assembled behaviors of flexible-semiflexible diblock copolymers in 4, 5, 6-dimensional simulations. Anomaly detection aims to find outliers data that do not conform to expected behaviors in a specific scenario, which is indispensable and critical in current safety environments related studies. However, when performing outlier detection on a large-scale multidimensional dataset, most of the traditional methods make no distinctions between classes of outliers and lack the reasoning ability and the explainability of the analysis results, which leads to the low accuracy of global outlier detection and the inability to effectively identify local outliers. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained anomaly detection method which well utilizes isolation forest and knowledge graph reasoning tactics. First, a better extracting data feature method and a more reasonable weighted strategy are used to find global outliers based on the traditional isolation forest algorithm, and then we construct a custom rule base according to the in-depth research and analysis of global abnormal data, and at last the ontology knowledge is reasoned based on such rule base to achieve the detection of local outliers. Through analysis of extensive experiment results, our method could effectively discover more abnormal data without big loss of time costs, has strong generalization, and correspondingly improves the performance for abnormal detection. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The Device-Free Localization (DFL) system hold significant application value in NLOS (Non-Line-of-Sight) environments where GPS signals are unavailable. It is a challenge to accurately distinguish whether the changes in spatial signals are caused by the presence of users or the changes of environment, particularly in Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) environments without GPS signals. To address this issue, we proposes a DFL method utilizing Multipath Components (MPCs), which involves a detailed analysis of how the presence of users affects the MPCs. Specifically, a calculation method for signal propagation paths using virtual anchors has been developed to accurately construct a user-based diffraction model. An algorithm for extracting MPCs from actual signal measurements was also proposed. The maximum average absolute error between the simulated and measured MPC amplitudes with UWB was 0.9461 dB, validating the possibility of substituting simulation models for actual measurements. Moreover, by utilizing a deep learning network with MPCs as input features, the DFL method achieves a positioning accuracy of 0.44 m in an underground parking with only two sensors. This represents an improvement of $\mathbf{0. 3 5 m}$ over traditional RSS-based fingerprinting localization methods.

Few-shot object detection aims to rapidly detect novel classes of objects using a minimal number of annotated instances. Compared to methods such as meta-learning, few-shot object detection based on transfer learning can achieve better performance. However, when training on base-class datasets, the model gradually improves its detection performance on base classes but does not enhance its generalization. A base-class model lacking generalization tends to result in lower detection performance for novel classes during fine-tuning. To address the aforementioned issues, this paper tackles the problem from two aspects: firstly, we introduce the Confusion-Dropblock Module (CDM) to perturb the model's features, thus enhancing feature generalization. Secondly, we incorporate Deformable Convolution Modules to mitigate the impact of object shapes and sizes on detection performance, thereby improving overall detection performance. Experimental results on the COCO dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, outperforming the compared methods.

Semi-supervised graph domain adaptation, as a branch of graph transfer learning, aims to annotate unlabeled target graph nodes by utilizing transferable knowledge learned from a label-scarce source graph. However, most existing studies primarily concentrate on aligning feature distributions directly to extract domain-invariant features, while ignoring the utilization of the intrinsic structure information in graphs. Inspired by the significance of data structure information in enhancing models' generalization performance, this paper aims to investigate how to leverage the structure information to assist graph transfer learning. To this end, we propose an innovative framework called TFGDA. Specially, TFGDA employs a structure alignment strategy named STSA to encode graphs' topological structure information into the latent space, greatly facilitating the learning of transferable features. To achieve a stable alignment of feature distributions, we also introduce a SDA strategy to mitigate domain discrepancy on the sphere. Moreover, to address the overfitting issue caused by label scarcity, a simple but effective RNC strategy is devised to guide the discriminative clustering of unlabeled nodes. Experiments on various benchmarks demonstrate the superiority of TFGDA over SOTA methods.

Self-consistent field theory (SCFT) is one of the most widely-used framework in studying the equilibrium phase behaviors of inhomogenous polymers. For liquid crystalline polymeric systems, the main numerical challenges of solving SCFT encompass efficiently solving plenty of six dimensional partial differential equations (PDEs), precisely determining the subtle energy difference among self-assembled structures, and developing effective iterative methods for nonlinear SCF iteration. To address these challenges, this work introduces a suite of high-order and efficient numerical methods tailored for SCFT of liquid-crystalline polymers. These methods include various advaced PDE solvers, an improved Anderson iteration algorithm to accelerate SCFT calculations, and an optimization technique of adjusting the computational domain during the SCF iterations. Extensive numerical tests demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed methods. Based on these algorithms, we further explore the self-assembly behavior of liquid crystalline polymers through simulations in four, five, and six dimensions, uncovering intricate three-dimensional spatial structures.
