The Affine-Projection Maximum Asymmetric Correntropy Criterion (APMACC) is constructed, drawing upon the fundamental principles of the maximum asymmetric correntropy criterion and an affine-projection scheme. The APMACC algorithm incorporates the asymmetric Gaussian model as a kernel function within the Affine-Projection (AP) algorithm framework, thereby endowing it with robustness against asymmetrically distributed noise. Furthermore, the bound for step-size is established in the literature. Simulation results demonstrate that the APMACC has fast convergence and low steady-state.

Gathering reliable labeled samples for polarimetric synthetic aperture (PolSAR) image classification is laborious. Moreover, applying a trained classifier to new domains often leads to noticeable performance degradation due to domain disparities. Therefore, this paper proposes the novel complex-valued cross-domain (CD) few-shot learning classification (CCFSLC) method for PolSAR images to address these issues. Firstly, the transferrable knowledge learning module (TKLM) with a complex-valued feature encoder (CVFE) is trained using source data with sufficient labeled samples. Then, the deep few-shot learning module (DFSLM), constructed using the pre-trained CVFE, is trained by episodes in both source and target domains, with only minimal target labeled samples. Meanwhile, the adversarial domain adaptation module (ADAM) is employed to eliminate domain shift. The proposed CCFSLC mainly focuses on exploring discriminative information from raw PolSAR data, while reducing the domain gap to recognize novel categories in unseen domains with only a few annotated samples. Experiments on typical PolSAR datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Gene regulatory networks (GRNs) are crucial for understanding organismal molecular mechanisms and processes. Construction of GRN in the epithelioma papulosum cyprini (EPC) cells of cyprinid fish by spring viremia of carp virus (SVCV) infection helps understand the immune regulatory mechanisms that enhance the survival capabilities of cyprinid fish. Although many computational methods have been used to infer GRNs, specialized approaches for predicting the GRN of EPC cells following SVCV infection are lacking. In addition, most existing methods focus primarily on gene expression features, neglecting the valuable network structural information in known GRNs. In this study, we propose a novel supervised deep neural network, named MEFFGRN (Matrix Enhancement- and Feature Fusion-based method for Gene Regulatory Network inference), to accurately predict the GRN of EPC cells following SVCV infection. MEFFGRN considers both gene expression data and network structure information of known GRN and introduces a matrix enhancement method to address the sparsity issue of known GRN, extracting richer network structure information. To optimize the benefits of CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) in image processing, gene expression and enhanced GRN data were transformed into histogram images for each gene pair respectively. Subsequently, these histograms were separately fed into CNNs for training to obtain the corresponding gene expression and network structural features. Furthermore, a feature fusion mechanism was introduced to comprehensively integrate the gene expression and network structural features. This integration considers the specificity of each feature and their interactive information, resulting in a more comprehensive and precise feature representation during the fusion process. Experimental results from both real-world and benchmark datasets demonstrate that MEFFGRN achieves competitive performance compared with state-of-the-art computational methods. Furthermore, study

The currently constructed millimeter wave imaging system has the problems of long sampling time and more sampling points of antenna units, and the use of compressed perception algorithm can improve the imaging quality when the number of sampling points are much smaller than the Nyquist distance sampling. The traditional compressed perception algorithm can achieve better sparse recovery than the matched filter imaging algorithm, but there is a large dimension of the measurement matrix and high computational complexity. For the problems of difficult data processing and large dimensions of measurement matrix, a sparse imaging regularization model is constructed based on approximate observation, and an improved soft threshold iterative algorithm is used with adaptive step size, which improves the convergence performance, reduces the computational complexity of the sparse recovery dramatically and achieves a better quality of sparse imaging than the traditional compressed perception algorithm.

A new dual-band low-profile quadrifilar-helical antenna (QHA) was presented. The spiral radiation arm of QHA is printed to three circular dielectric plates to reduce the antenna height. In this case, the radiation arm of the lower layer is connected to the feed, and the L-shaped branch is connected to the ground through a 50 ohm resistance. The radiation arm in the middle layer adds branches to realize dual frequency. The upper radiation arm rotates inward and folds, further realizing miniaturization. As a result, the height of QHA is only 20mm. Through CST simulation and optimization, The operating frequency bands of QHA are 1GHz - 1.45GHz and 1.54GHz - 1.74GHz. The beam width of QHA is more than 120°, which is to provide service for satellite navigating systems. The AR for the operation bands are less than 3dB.

Subarray partition of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) can significantly reduce the computational complexity of solving optimal reflection coefficients. However, there is no research about the RIS subarray partition of RIS-aided multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication for the eavesdropper scenario. In this paper, we intend to solve the optimization subarray partition problem for the eavesdropper scenario, design a RIS-aided MIMO secure communication scheme based on subarray partition (RSC-SP). We consider minimizing the number of subarrays while satisfying secrecy rate requirements. First, this problem is described as a nonconvex combinatorial optimization problem, then we solve it by combining alternating optimization and bisection. In this scheme, we derive the closed expressions of the optimal transmit covariance matrix and the optimal reflection coefficients of RIS. The alternating optimization algorithm is used to jointly optimize the transmit covariance matrix and the reflection coefficients of RIS, the bisection method is used to calculate the minimum number of subarrays. Simulation results show that compared with the traditional scheme without subarray partition, RSC-SP can significantly reduce the computational complexity while meeting secrecy rate requirements.

Community detection is a trendy area in research on complex network analysis and has a wide range of real-world applications, like advertising. As people become increasingly concerned about privacy, protecting participants’ privacy in distributed community detection has become a new challenge. When applied to not identically and independently distributed (Non-IID) data, most federated graph algorithms suffer from the weight divergence problem caused by diversified training of local and global models, resulting in accuracy degradation. Furthermore, the privacy protection approaches based on anonymization, such as differential privacy (DP), and cryptography, such as homomorphic encryption (HE), incur accuracy loss and high time consumption, respectively. In this paper, we propose a globally consistent vertical federated graph autoencoder (GCVFGAE) algorithm, which builds a globally consistent model among the coordinator and all participants to solve the Non-IID graph data problem. As well, an attribute blinding strategy based on security aggregation is developed to protect the network privacy of each participant without losing accuracy. Both real-world and artificial networks’ experiments show that our algorithm reaches higher accuracy than the existing vertical federated graph neural networks (GNNs) and the simple distributed graph autoencoder without federated learning and detects communities identical to those found by the standard graph autoencoder (GAE). © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Federated graph learning has been widely used in distributed graph machine learning tasks. The data distribution of existing graph-based federated Spatio-temporal prediction methods is mainly segmented by graph topology. However, in the real-world Spatio-temporal traffic speed prediction task, a location will have data from different devices belonging to different companies. A node may have multi-party information in the real-world distributed traffic speed prediction scenario. The difference in multi-party information leads to the information not being fully utilized. Moreover, the direct transmission of node embedding in the federated learning process may also risk privacy leaks. Using homomorphic encryption and other encryption methods will bring a high computational overhead. Therefore we propose a new distributed privacy-preserving traffic speed prediction algorithm, which uses secure node attribute aggregation strategy(SNAAS) to apply to the multi-party collaborative traffic speed prediction scenario when the graph topology structure is public. At the same time, secret sharing technology is used in SNAAS to protect the attribute matrix and reduce the overhead of secret computing. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Preprocessed GMRES for fast solution of linear equations

The article mainly introduces preprocessing algorithms for solving linear equation systems. This algorithm uses three algorithms as inner iterations, namely RPCG algorithm, ADI algorithm, and Kaczmarz algorithm. Then, it uses BA-GMRES as an outer iteration to solve the linear equation system. These three algorithms can indirectly generate preprocessing matrices, which are used for solving equation systems. In addition, we provide corresponding convergence analysis and numerical examples. Through numerical examples, we demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of these preprocessing methods. Furthermore, in the Kaczmarz algorithm, we introduce both constant step size and adaptive step size, and extend the parameter range of the Kaczmarz algorithm to α ∈ (0, ∞). We also study the solution rate of linear equation systems using different step sizes. Numerical examples show that both constant step size and adaptive step size have higher solution efficiency than the solving algorithm without preprocessing. © 2024, CC BY.

We propose the antenna developments from nature to engineering, which is a natural method to train student for designing antenna. Also, the interest of the students can be stimulated. Using this method, the students can get how to design antennas and will be interested on the antenna engineering. Then, young talents can be brought up. By using this strategy, a nature Logo is introduced and cooperated with the proposed talent training method to get new antennas. Also, the results for the developed antenna is also simulated and analyzed based on the theory from the text book. In the future, the proposed talents training techniques or method can also be expanded to other different research directions. © 2022 IEEE.
