Liver vessel segmentation is an important task of liver tumor resection and ablation. This paper proposes a liver vessel segmentation method based on an improved V-Net network. The dense connection is introduced into the network, which strengthens the feature transfer and reuses between convolutional layers, and can effectively alleviate the disappearance of the gradient of the network. The experimental results on the public data set 3Dircadb shown that the dice, accuracy, and sensitivity are 71.2%, 73.9%, and 97.8% respectively. The final experiment showed that the improved network has good generalization ability and can effectively improve the accuracy of liver vessel segmentation.

The recently proposed concept of Age of Information (AoI) measures the freshness of the sensor data sampled by remote Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which is an important indicator for the smart city. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) communication can significantly reduce the sensor data's AoI due to its high maneuverability. However, the UAV's high energy consumption remains a challenging issue. In this paper, we propose a Reconfigurable intelligent Surface (RIS) assisted UAV data collection framework to minimize UAV energy consumption. By adjusting the phase of the RIS, the UAV can collect more sensor data simultaneously. A RIS phase alignment method is introduced to reduce the complexity of RIS phase solving. The IoT devices are clustered to discretize UAV trajectory. The optimal clustering scheme to maximize the AoI suppression efficiency is found by adjusting the RIS phase alignment points continuously. Therefore, the AoI requirement can be achieved with a shorter UAV flight distance. Finally, the UAV trajectory is solved by the Deep Q network (DQN) algorithm to guarantee the long-term AoI requirement. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Dynamic graph link prediction is a challenging problem because the graph topology and node attributes vary at different times. A purely supervised learning scheme for the dynamic graph data usually leads to poor generalization due to insufficient supervision. As a promising solution, self-supervised learning can be introduced to dynamic graph analysis tasks. However, the self-supervised learning paradigm for dynamic graph learning has not been sufficiently investigated due to the complicated properties of the evolving graphs. We assume that the dynamic graphs consist of three independent types of key factors, i.e., graph time-variant information, time-invariant information and noise. Based on this assumption, we propose the Self-supervised Decoupling for Dynamic Graph (SDDG) framework for explicitly decoupling the representation which characterizes these three factors, thus enhancing the interpretability of the learned representation and link prediction performance. More specifically, we design an encoder-decoder architecture to sufficiently exploit the dynamic graph itself with multiple regularizations, so that the time-variant embedding of dynamic graph data can be effectively decoupled from the perspectives of node and structure for time-variant-aware link prediction. Experiments on five benchmark link prediction tasks demonstrate the significant improvement of our SDDG over the state-of-the-art methods. For example, SDDG achieves 98.2% and 97.3% Top-1 AUC on Reddit-B and Reddit-T, outperforming the DDGCL model, by 1.9% and 1.8%, respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

In this paper, a novel automatic approach of computing 3D skeletons of airways is introduced, which is based on optimized double distance transform field and endpoints detection. The advanced double distance transform fields are constructed by the fast marching method(FMM). The endpoints are detected automatically combining 3D SUSAN corner detector and the local extreme value of distance from source(DFS). Furthermore, the minimum cost path scheme is used for searching a connected, one voxel thickness flight path of airways in virtual bronchoscopy. Experimental results show that the proposed method is centered, less sensitive to object noisiness, more accurate and more efficient. We have validated the robustness of the proposed method both quantitatively and qualitatively against clinical datasets.

Previous models regarded infection rate as a constant which failed to catch the dynamical process of the infection rates. In this paper, we proposed a SIQRS model with the variable infection rate for the first time. Then we built the corresponding equation of worm propagation and analyzed the existence and stability of worm-free equilibrium. Moreover, in order to verify the effectiveness of the new model, we showed the numerical analysis. The results of numerical analysis show the SIQRS model with the variable infection rate is consistent with the process of the worm propagation more realistically. Finally, we gave some useful strategies which may be applied to constrain the spread of Internet worms.

Because of the dynamic change of network topology and the open wireless channel, the Ad Hoc networks is more vulnerable to security attacks and paths are easy to break. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes the Friend evaluation Multi-path Secure Routing Protocol(FSMSR) based on DSR protocol. FSMSR protocol can set up multiple node-disjoint paths through a route discovery process for every business connection by using multi-path mechanism and can detect and isolate malicious via friend evaluation model. The simulation shows that FSMSR protocol not only can improve the fault tolerance and robustness of the network, more can enhance the security of the network.

Objects, such as a digital image, a text document or a DNA sequence are usually represented in a high dimensional feature space. A fundamental issue in (peer-to-peer) P2P systems is to support an efficient similarity search for high-dimensional data in metric spaces. Prior works suffer from some fundamental limitations, such as being not adaptive to a highly dynamic network, poor search efficiency under skewed data scenarios, large maintenance overhead and etc. In this study, we propose an efficient scheme, Dragon, to support P2P similarity search in metric spaces. Dragon achieves the efficiency through the following designs: 1) Dragon is based on our previous designed P2P network, Phoenix, which has the optimal routing efficiency in dynamic scenarios. 2) We design a locality-preserving naming algorithm and a routing tree for each peer in Phoenix to support range queries. A radius-estimated method is proposed to transform a kNN query to a range query. 3) A load-balancing algorithm is given to support strong query processing under skewed data distributions. Extensive experiments verify the superiority of Dragon over existing works.

This paper studied the congestion control algorithm in the IONs and put forward two innovative algorithms. Firstly, designed a wavelength conversion algorithm which based on Partial-sparse-Limited network model（for short PLWC）;Secondly, presented another wavelength conversion algorithm which based on Partialsparse-Limited network model and Wavelength Buffering（for short PLWCB）;Finally, analyzed and verified PLWC and PLWCB algorithm by system simulation. The simulation results shown that PLWC algorithm achieved an outstanding performance of the network improvement compared with the existing SPWC algorithm, and comparing with the PLWC algorithm the PLWCB algorithm can decrease the blocking probability about 13% and increase network resource utilization about 10%.
