The dynamic weapon-target assignment (DWTA) problem is an important issue in the field of military command and control. An asset-based DWTA optimization model was proposed with four kinds of constraints considered, including capability constraints, strategy constraints, resource constraints and engagement feasibility constraints. A general "virtual" representation of decisions was presented to facilitate the generation of feasible decisions. The representation is in essence the permutation of all assignment pairs. A construction procedure converts the permutations into real feasible decisions. In order to solve this problem, three evolutionary decision-making algorithms, including a genetic algorithm and two memetic algorithms, were developed. Experimental results show that the memetic algorithm based on greedy local search can generate obviously better DWTA decisions, especially for large-scale problems, than the genetic algorithm and the memetic algorithm based on steepest local search.

Special Re-use TDMA(STDMA) emerges as a promising channel access technique for providing Quality of Service(QoS) guarantees in multi-hop ad Hoc networks such as community mesh and sensor networks. The contention-free channel access combined with special reuse of the channel provides significant benefits in the energy/throughput trade-off. However, the protocol may introduce scheduling delay if, on the same path, an outbound link on a router is scheduled to transmit before an inbound link on that router. The total scheduling delay can be quite large since it accumulates at every hop on a path. This paper presents a method to solve this problem to improve the performance of the network system. Compared to the origin STDMA protocol, simulation results present us the superior performance of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper we formulate and solve a pursuit-evasion game in which a single faster player chases several evaders with the same properties. We analyze the optimal motion strategies of the both sides by using the theory of differential games, which helps simplify computation complexity and meet an ideal result. We discuss the situation of one faster pursuer and one evader under some basic assumptions in which the amount of evaders increases by steps in the full visibility case. We apply the task allocation method to simulate the optimal motion track in both fixed sequence capture mode and free sequence capture mode of the pursuer. The optimal motion strategies acquired by differential games theory respond faster than those acquired in traditional ways. We prove all the chase process discussed with differential games by MATLAB simulation.
