Aiming to deal with the challenge of data security and data pricing in data trading markets, we propose the novel multi-blockchain-based framework and design the related pricing mechanisms. Specifically, data recording and trading are conducted separately in the Data Blockchain (DChain) and the Value Blockchain (VChain). Based on these blockchains, two-layer data trading markets are established to manage the initial data trading in the primary market and the data resale in the secondary market. Pricing mechanisms are proposed to protect the formulated data trading markets against strategic trading behaviors and balance the payoffs of both suppliers and users. In the regular data trading on VChain-S2D, two auction models are used to deal with users' strategic bidding in terms of the demand scale, where the incentive-compatible Vickrey-Clarke-Groves (VCG) model is dedicated to the low-demand trading scenario, while the nearly incentive-compatible Monopolistic Price (MP) model is for the high-demand trading scenario. In the temporary data trading on VChain-D2S, a reverse auction mechanism named Two-Stage Obscure Selection (TSOS) is designed to regulate both suppliers' quoting and users' valuation strategies. Moreover, experiments are carried out to validate our theoretical analysis. Our work is expected to enhance the data security and improve the trading efficiency. © 2022, The Authors. The rapidly growing amount of social interaction makes geographical names an important and indispensable medium for people in social and economic exchanges. Especially in today's information age, the frequency of usage of name information has increased greatly. In this paper, a method for the construction of a cities' names database is proposed. This will include the processing of the outcome data from the names pilot survey, the consolidation into the database, the development of the cloud service and management system based on the geographical names and zoning database, and the construction of a relatively complete set of the public service system of geographical names based on a website and touch screen interface. The method has been applied in SanYa, China successfully, and very good results have been obtained. The platform can provide not only accurate and convenient services of geographical names, but also promote its economic development and social progress.

The low magnetic field measurement has been utilized since ancient times in order to find economic resources, to detect magnetic anomalies, etc. In this case, the vector magnetic survey can simultaneously obtain the modulus and direction information of the magnetic field, which can contribute to obtaining more precise information and characteristics of magnetic field resources. This paper is concerned with the potential to exploit the signals of vector magnetic field measurement with a magneto-inductive (MI) sensor. To evaluate the capability of the MI sensor, a test platform is set up and its performance including the noise floor, the resolution, the sensitivity, etc., are comprehensively characterized. Further, a comparative geomagnetic observation and magnetic anomaly detection among the proposed MI sensor, a high-precision Overhauser sensor, and a commonly used and accepted commercial MI sensor are conducted. We study the problem of detecting an attack on a stochastic cyber-physical system. We aim to treat the problem in its most general form. We start by introducing the notion of asymptotically detectable attacks, as those attacks introducing changes to the system’s output statistics which persist asymptotically. We then provide a necessary and sufficient condition for asymptotic detectability. This condition preserves generality as it holds under no restrictive assumption on the system and attacking scheme. To show the importance of this condition, we apply it to detect certain attacking schemes which are undetectable using simple statistics. Our necessary and sufficient condition naturally leads to an algorithm which gives a confidence level for attack detection. With the development of industrialized building and intelligence technology, it becomes necessary and possible to realize building process intelligence management. In recent years, digital twins and parallel management get more and more attentions in academic research and industrial applications. This paper addresses how parallel building system performs intelligence management on industrialized building process. Firstly, actual building model and artificial building model are created according to actual building system. Then business driving engine and simulation engine drive actual building model and artificial building model, respectively. Participants receive and send messages by software interfaces. Business driving engine changes the status of actual building model and sends the changes to simulation engine. Simulation engine updates the status of artificial building model and runs artificial building model with various parameters. Then it sends the parameter with the best effect to business driving engine. Business driving engine sends recommendations to participants according to the best parameter. Thus, building process intelligence management is achieved.

Traffic congestion is a serious problem around the world and to a great extent influences urban communities in various manners including increased stress levels, delayed deliveries, fuel wastage, and monetary losses. Therefore, an accurate congestion prediction algorithm to limit these misfortunes is fundamental. This paper presents a comparative study of traffic congestion prediction systems including decision tree, logistic regression, and neural networks. Five days of traffic information (1,231,200 samples) are utilized to drive the prediction model. The TensorFlow and the Clementine machine learning platforms are used for data preprocessing, training, and testing of the model. The confusion matrix clears that decision tree has better prediction performance and leads the other two methods with accuracy (97%), macro-average precision (95%), macro-average recall (96%), and macro-average F1_score (96%) in the python programming environment. Moreover, performance of the three prediction models is verified in Clementine environment and decision tree outperforms all other models with an accuracy of 97.65%.

Reinforcement learning (RL) has been widely used in decision-making and control tasks, but the risk is very high for the agent in the training process due to the requirements of interaction with the environment, which seriously limits its industrial applications such as autonomous driving systems. Safe RL methods are developed to handle this issue by constraining the expected safety violation costs as a training objective, but the occurring probability of an unsafe state is still high, which is unacceptable in autonomous driving tasks. Moreover, these methods are difficult to achieve a balance between the cost and return expectations, which leads to learning performance degradation for the algorithms. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm based on the long and short-term constraints (LSTC) for safe RL. The short-term constraint aims to enhance the shortterm state safety that the vehicle explores, while the long-term constraint enhances the overall safety of the vehicle throughout the decision-making process, both of which are jointly used to enhance the vehicle safety in the training process. In addition, we develop a safe RL method with dual-constraint optimization based on the Lagrange multiplier to optimize the training process for end-to-end autonomous driving. Comprehensive experiments were conducted on the MetaDrive simulator. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves higher safety in continuous state and action tasks, and exhibits higher exploration performance in long-distance decision-making tasks compared with state-of-the-art methods. The integration of signals from physical, social and cyber spaces, known as Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS), is a new research paradigm for urban transportation, where the traffic control and management (C&M) is collaborative optimized among the three sub-systems. Though some technologies and optimization methods have been studied since its proposition, there is a lack of a systemic architecture as well as an overall implementation about how to efficiently exploit the social signals. For this reason, this paper proposes a general framework of CPSS for urban transportation and presents a feasible solution for traffic optimization based on knowledge automation. The specific implementation includes basic modeling of CPSS, knowledge evolution and reasoning, and collaborative optimization of C&P strategies. As a remarkable highlight, the influence of both individual activities and social learning is concerned during knowledge evolution and reasoning part. A case study from the application in the city of Dongguan is also given to validate our proposed framework and methods, showing that they can efficiently improve the average speed of the actual transportation.

A Cyclic Small Phase Theorem

This paper introduces a brand-new phase definition called the segmental phase for multi-input multi-output linear time-invariant systems. The underpinning of the definition lies in the matrix segmental phase which, as its name implies, is graphically based on the smallest circular segment covering the matrix normalized numerical range in the unit disk. The matrix segmental phase has the crucial product eigen-phase bound, which makes itself stand out from several existing phase notions in the literature. The proposed bound paves the way for stability analysis of a cyclic feedback system consisting of multiple subsystems. A cyclic small phase theorem is then established as our main result, which requires the loop system phase to lie between −π and π. The proposed theorem complements a cyclic version of the celebrated small gain theorem. In addition, a generalization of the proposed theorem is made via the use of angular scaling techniques for reducing conservatism. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Cyber-Physical-Social systems for Smart City: An Implementation Based on intelligent Loop

Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS) provides a novel perspective for constructing “Smart City”, which is also known as the Human-Machine-Things-System (HMTS), focusing on the fusion of ternary space: social network of human society, network of machines and the Internet of things. In this paper, we propose a specific implementation framework of CPSS for Smart City based on intelligent loops, including basic modeling and interactive fusion, state perception and cognition, and adaptive learning. On this basis, an overall architecture of the CPSS platform is designed, which is applied in the urban transportation management in Hangzhou. The application results demonstrate that the intelligent loop could optimize the control and management strategies for actual urban transportation.
