With rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI), it is urgent to promote educational reform to improve comprehensive competence level of primary and secondary school students (CCLPSSS). However, educational reform is a system engineering involving multiple and intertwined factors. In this research, a system dynamics-based model of education reform is developed. Then, based on this model, a series of simulation experiments are carried out to find main factors affecting improvement of CCLPSSS. Results show that: 1) this model could simulate trends of CCLPSSS under different educational reform measures;2) Measures including teaching mode reform, development and application of AI-based new teaching method, implementation of Double Reduction in compulsory education, implementation of deepening education evaluation reform policy, and development and application of AI-based education evaluation technology could play significant roles in promoting CCLPSSS and further strengthening cultivation of AI compound talents. © 2022 IEEE.

The multitude of advantages offered by distributed power generation units are recognized as crucial factors in enhancing the security of distribution networks. Ensuring the optimal size and placement of distributed generation (DG) units not only enhances system security but also increases profitability. Haphazard placement of DG units may lead to adverse impacts on the power system, resulting in increased power losses and diminished voltage distribution. Therefore, to ensure the optimal size and placement of DG units, this paper proposes a method to optimize DG scheduling and operation, thereby improving voltage distribution, reducing power losses, and enhancing the overall reliability of the entire grid. To reduce power loss (PL) and improve voltage distribution (VP), an adaptive chaotic particle swarm optimization (ACPSO) algorithm is employed to determine the optimal locations and sizes of DG units. By comparing this algorithm with traditional approaches, its efficacy in enhancing performance can be discerned.

A multi-objective flexible workshop production scheduling optimization model is established for a series of workshop data in manufacturing enterprises, such as delivery time, processing time, and machine energy consumption, with the goal of minimizing total weighted lead and delay time, minimizing maximum completion time, and minimizing total machine energy consumption. On the basis of the NSGA-II algorithm, a combination of random generation and heuristic generation is used to initialize the population, while introducing dynamic crossover, mutation probability, and an improved elite retention strategy based on dynamic update crowding operator to optimize the NSGA-II algorithm, and solving the scheduling model to obtain the optimal set of scheduling solutions. Compared with the original NSGA-II algorithm, the improved NSGA-II (INSGA-II) algorithm improves population diversity, accelerates convergence speed, avoids falling into local optima, and can obtain better scheduling schemes. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the INSGA-II algorithm were verified through simulation experiments.

The distributed nonconvex constrained optimization problem with equality and inequality constraints is researched in this paper, where the objective function and the function for constraints are all nonconvex. To solve this problem from a control perspective, a virtual reference-based convex penalty function is added to the augmented Lagrangian function. Then, based on the primal–dual technique, a two-timescale distributed approach is designed based on the consensus scheme. The slower subsystem aims to ensure the optimality, and the faster subsystem intends to guarantee the stability. Finally, three cases are presented to illustrate the approach's effectiveness. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

Introduction of virtual reality technology enriches the expression of traditional games and greatly improves the sense of substitution and interactive experience of users. Realization of virtual reality is inseparable from artificial intelligence technology. In order to improve immersion and interactivity of virtual reality games, it is necessary to propose more intelligent solutions to existing technologies. This paper aims to discuss some intelligent methods of virtual reality games. Firstly, it discusses artificial intelligence means to enhance the virtual reality experience, which can improve the tracking and force / tactile interaction system of existing virtual reality games from software and hardware aspects;Then it proposes the concept of human-machine hybrid enhanced intelligence: by introducing human cognitive model to improve perception and decision-making ability of virtual reality games, so as to make interaction of virtual reality games more friendly and more real. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of event-based fault-tolerant model predictive load frequency control is investigated for the power system where the electrolytic aluminum load participates in frequency modulation and actuator faults. A dynamic event-triggered mechanism containing an internal dynamic variable (IDV) and an adjustable variable is designed to reduce the data transmission burden. The fault-tolerant model predictive control (FTMPC) problem is expressed as a "min-max" optimization problem (OP). According to the Lyapunov-like function that depends on the IDV, an auxiliary OP with constrained linear matrix inequalities is constructed. By solving the auxiliary OP, the FTMPC controller gains that ensure the input-to-state stability of the closed-loop system can be obtained. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified through a simulation example.

One of the key concerns in today's steel business is how to effectively save energy and reduce emissions, since the concepts of green environmental preservation, energy conservation, and emission reduction are deeply ingrained in people's hearts. Fuel ratio is a key parameter in blast furnace steelmaking. Identifying the factors that influence the fuel ratio and being able to model and predict it can greatly help in guiding the stable operation of the blast furnace, reducing fuel ratio, saving energy, and cutting emissions. In this paper, the fuel ratio mechanism of blast furnace is analyzed, and the parameters affecting the fuel ratio are initially selected. Subsequently, the parameters with the highest correlation to the fuel ratio are identified using the maximum correlation coefficient method. A CNN-LSTM-Attention-based fuel ratio prediction model was developed, and its accuracy and efficacy were demonstrated through comparison with three other models.

This paper studies the stability problem of nonlinear systems via hybrid delayed impulses,in which stabilizing impulses and destabilizing impulses can occur simultaneously. In order to analyze the hybrid delayed impulses,the average impulsive weight(AIW) is used. Together with average impulsive interval(AII) and average impulsive delay(AID),some Lyapunov-based conditions for globally asymptotically stable(GAS) are established. Results show that delays in impulses have positive effects to the desired performance. The effectiveness of the theoretical results is demonstrated through two numerical examples.

Extensive experiments suggest that motor coordination among human participants may contribute to social affinity and emotional attachment, which has great potential in the clinical treatment of social disorders or schizophrenia. Mirror game provides an effective experimental paradigm for studying social motor coordination. Nevertheless, the lack of movement richness prevents the emergence of high-level coordination in the existing one-dimensional experiments. To tackle this problem, this work develops a two-dimensional experimental paradigm of mirror game by playing waggle dance between two participants. In particular, an online control architecture of customized virtual player is created to coordinate with human player. Therein, an iterative learning control algorithm is proposed by integrating position tracking and behavior imitation with prescribed kinematic feature. Moreover, convergence analysis of control algorithm is conducted to guarantee the online performance of virtual player. Finally, the proposed control strategy is validated by matching experimental data and compared with other control methods using a set of performance indexes. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Recently,convolutional neural network has been pervasively adopted in visual object tracking for its potential in discriminating the target from the surrounding *** of the visual object trackers extract deep features from a specific layer,generally from the last convolutional ***,these trackers are less effective,especially when the target undergoes drastic appearance variations caused by the presence of different challenging situations,such as occlusion,illumination change,background clutter and so *** this research paper,a novel tracking algorithm is developed by introducing an elastic net constraint and a contextual information into the convolutional network to successfully track the desired target throughout a video *** features are extracted from the shallow and the deep convolutional layers to further improve the tracking accuracy and *** the deep convolutional layers capture important semantic information,they are more robust to the target appearance *** for the shallow convolutional layers,they encode significant spatial details,which are more accurate to precisely localize the desired ***,Peak-Strength Context-Aware correlation filters are embedded to each convolutional layer output that produce multi-level convolutional response maps to collaboratively identify the estimated position of the target in a coarse-to-fine *** and qualitative experiments are performed on the widely used benchmark,the OTB-2015 dataset that shows impressive results compared to the state-of-the-art trackers.
