Recently, the emotional robot has basic functions of perceiving and expressing emotions, but it still hard to communicate naturally between humans and robots. One major reason is that communication atmosphere is seldom considered in Human-robot Interaction (HRI). We propose Multi-modal (i.e., music background, speech, and semantics) Based Fuzzy Atmosfield (FA), which can not only realize the dynamic adjustment of FA but also dynamically regulate human emotions. In the experiment, a Pepper robot is used and one hundred volunteers are invited for HRI, and soothing piano pieces are used as background music. Questionnaires were filled by the volunteers after the experiments, from which the results show that 90% of the volunteers felt the dynamic changes in the communication atmosphere and 77% of the volunteers felt significant emotional regulation, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our method.

The need for mechanical model simulation platforms is growing as a result of the ongoing advancements in digital technology and the mechanical manufacturing sector. The application scope and efficacy of simulation platforms are severely limited by the issue of sluggish rendering performance, which frequently arises when obtaining high-quality rendering. When drawing high demand mechanical models, a lot of processing power is frequently needed, which makes real-time rendering speed unsatisfactory for practical purposes. In order to achieve real-time rendering and simulation of 3D robots, this experiment built and implemented a WebGL-based 3D simulation platform. Additionally, the simulation platform can be optimized by increasing frame rate and rendering speed without sacrificing rendering effect by building a mixed bounding box. © The Author(s) 2025.

In this paper, we consider a novel and efficient method to price equity-linked guaranteed minimumdeath benefits (GMDB) with European-style geometric Asian and arithmetic Asian payoffs. In thesituation of continuous transition of market economy, we assume that the underlying asset price processfollows regime-switching Ĺevy model and use complex Fourier series (CFS) expansion method to derivethe approximate value of GMDB products. The error analysis shows an exponential convergence rateunder geometric Asian and arithmetic Asian payoffs. Furthermore, the CFS approach is comparedwith other Fourier transform methods and Monte Carlo simulation, the numerical experiment resultsillustrate our method has a distinct advantage over other methods in both efficiency and accuracy. © 2022, The Authors. This paper combines the equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) approach with the sliding-mode control (SMC) approach that improves disturbance-rejection performance. A novel equivalent-input-disturbance (NEID) approach is presented, which considers the disturbance estimation in the state observer. A sliding surface is designed based on the internal model principle, which is called internal-model sliding-mode control (IMSMC). A stability condition is devised for the SMC-EID-based control system. The parameters are designed based on the stability condition. Simulation results show the validity of the NEID approach. © 2022 IEEE.

Size measurement and defect detection of ceramics are required in the production process of ceramic products. Therefore, it is necessary to perform high-precision and fast three-dimensional reconstruction of such targets with smooth surfaces and weak textures. However, the reconstruction of a large number of point clouds from multiple perspectives is time-consuming due to the matching of adjacent feature points. Based on this, a fast point cloud registration strategy based on the "eye-in-hand" model is proposed, which can obtain RGB-D images at multi-view around weak-textured objects with RGB-D camera for rapid point cloud registration and reconstruction. Meanwhile, a 3D point cloud segmentation method based on voxel-grid and euclidean distance clustering is applied to divide the scene point and obtain an accurate 3D model. The experimental results indicate that the multi view 3D reconstruction speed of this method is faster and the accuracy of objects point cloud is within 2 mm. Hence, this method can be well applied in reconstructing the 3D point clouds model for ceramic products. © 2021 IEEE

Quadruped robots have received increasing attention for the past few years. However, existing works primarily focus on static environments or assume the robot has full observations of the environment. This limits their practical applications since real-world environments are often dynamic and partially observable. To tackle these issues, vision-based reactive planning and control (V-RPC) is developed in this work. The V-RPC comprises two modules: offline pre-planning and online reactive planning. The pre-planning phase generates a reference trajectory over continuous workspace via sampling-based methods using prior environmental knowledge, given an LTL specification. The online reactive module dynamically adjusts the reference trajectory and control based on the robot's real-time visual perception to adapt to environmental changes. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. This paper discusses the design problem of recursive filtering method for time-varying nonlinear delayed systems (NDSs) with stochastic parameter matrices (SPMs) and censored measurements. In particular, the Tobit Type I model provides a description of the censored measurements. The main objective of this paper is to construct a recursive filter for NDSs with both SPMs and censored measurements. The upper bound of the filtering error covariance is first calculated via mathematical induction, and the upper bound is then minimized by choosing proper filter gain. Besides, a sufficient condition is provided to guarantee that the filtering error is uniformly bounded in the mean-square sense. Finally, the viability and applicability of the proposed filtering method are demonstrated using a numerical simulation. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

intelligent Transportation systems (ITS) are heavily dependent on private user data. However, most ITS fails to harness the potential of this invaluable data due to the absence of effective data governance mechanisms promoting users' contributions. Moreover, data contributors face security risks such as privacy preservation, data leakage, etc., as well as high costs in data sharing, while benefits are disproportionately reaped by system operators and interaction. This systemic imbalance could indirectly incentivize a surge in inactions and even malicious actions. In response to these challenges, we propose the design of a True Autonomous Organization (TAO) for ITS, namely ITS TAO. Utilizing the newly designed decision models with decentralized organization structures and the three-power structure, ITS TAO aims to realize the fair distribution of rights and benefits for ITS data contributors. Furthermore, we design a real-time evaluation system based on parallel intelligence capable of identifying potential hazards.

In view of the difficulty and low accuracy of small object detection for remote sensing images, this paper proposes a small object detection algorithm based on conual information fusion to solve the problem of real-time detection accuracy of small object. In this paper, we use bottom-up VGG16 network to realize multi-scale feature extraction to deal with the problem of insufficient image feature extraction. To direct at the problem that the feature information of each feature layer is single, the shallow feature layer and the deep feature layer are fused through the feature fusion module, which achieves the purpose that some feature layers have more abundant fusion features in the structure level. Aiming at the problem that the detection objects in remote sensing images are mainly small and medium-sized objects, this paper proposes to use the multivariate information of four different scale feature layers for classification prediction and regression prediction, so as to reduce the complexity of network model. The experimental results show that the proposed small object detection algorithm based on the fusion of four scale deep and shallow conual information can obtain good accuracy and real-time performance on the NWPU VHR-10 dataset, improve the detection accuracy on the basis of ensuring the real-time detection, and perform well in the small object detection task of remote sensing images. © 2021 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

In this paper, the distributed state estimation method with resilient attenuation feature is proposed for time-varying fractional-order complex networks under encoding-decoding mechanism. The encoding-decoding-induced dynamic errors for distinct nodes are characterized by the truncated Gaussian distributions. In order to compensate the effects induced by encoding-decoding scheme, the variances of encoding-decoding-induced dynamic errors are considered in process of designing the resilient distributed estimation algorithm. In particular, the upper bounds of updated estimation error covariances are derived firstly. Subsequently, the upper bounds are minimized by constructing the gain matrices at each sampling instant. Besides, a sufficient condition is provided to guarantee the boundedness of estimation error dynamics in the mean-square sense. Finally, the validity of distributed resilient state estimation scheme is demonstrated by a simulation example. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.
