Collaborative guidance of multiple UAVs with directional communication topologies for directional targets is being researched. First, a new multi-UAV time-cooperative guidance model is established based on the relative motion equation of the UAV target. Next, based on the cooperative control theory of multi-agent systems, a rigorously proven distributed time cooperative guidance method is designed. This ensures that the impact times of multiple UAVs in a directional topology reach asymptotic consistency. After reaching the impact time consensus, all unmanned aerial vehicles use traditional PN guidance techniques to ensure that the UAV accurately hits the target without impacting the impact time consensus. This paper investigates the small signal synchronization stability problem of grid-connected converter based on phase-locked control in weak grid. Firstly, with the objective of mechanically revealing the synchronization characteristics of the grid-connected converter, a Heffron-Phillips dynamics model is established for the analysis of the synchronization stability of the grid-connected converter by analogizing its synchronization dynamics with that of the traditional synchronous machine. By referring to the traditional low-frequency oscillation analysis idea of power system, the damping of synchronous oscillation mode dominated by phase-locked loop (PLL) is divided into two parts: the inherent damping component of PLL itself and the additional damping component introduced by complex control coupling in weak grid. Then the synchronous stability mechanism of the grid-connected converter in weak grid is revealed from the perspective of the damping characteristics. And from the perspective of the influence of the inherent or additional damping components, the influence of the controller parameters on the synchronous stability of small signal is investigated. The results of this paper clearly reveal the mechanism of synchronous instability of grid-connected converter in weak power grid, and indicate the way for the subsequent synchronous stability control. © 2023, State Grid Electric Power.

The utilization of mobile edge computing(MEC)for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communication presents a viable solution for achieving high reliability and low latency *** study explores the potential of employing intelligent reflective surfaces(IRS)andUAVs as relay nodes to efficiently offload user computing tasks to theMEC server system ***,the user node accesses the primary user spectrum,while adhering to the constraint of satisfying the primary user peak interference ***,the UAV acquires energy without interrupting the primary user’s regular communication by employing two energy harvesting schemes,namely time switching(TS)and power splitting(PS).The selection of the optimal UAV is based on the maximization of the instantaneous signal-to-noise ***,the analytical expression for the outage probability of the system in Rayleigh channels is derived and *** study investigates the impact of various system parameters,including the number of UAVs,peak interference power,TS,and PS factors,on the system’s outage performance through *** proposed system is also compared to two conventional benchmark schemes:the optimal UAV link transmission and the IRS link *** simulation results validate the theoretical derivation and demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme over the benchmark schemes.

With the development of renewable energy sources, the scale and complexity of power systems are continuously increasing, resulting in a high requirement for the efficiency of dynamic simulation. To enhance the overall simulation speed, this paper proposes an adaptive internal time-step adjustment method of elementary transfer function blocks for Trapezoidal integration in power system dynamic simulations. For blocks with different time constants, three integration modes are defined, including single-step integration, multiple-step integration, and static approximation. Each block can select an appropriate integration mode and adaptively adjust its internal time-step. Implementation of static approximation for blocks with small time constants is given. The proposed method is applied to the open-source Simulation Toolkit for Electrical Power systems (STEPS). The IEEE 9-bus test system is tested to obtain the maximum simulation time-step that can maintain numerical stability and validate the efficiency of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi-robot system outperforms in efficiency for cooperative task, where the challenging burden of information exchange for surrounding environment is facilitated by collaborative simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). However, the utilization of environmental information, i.e., mapping, should be specifically put into efficient use and merged from the viewpoint of computation saving and localization accuracy improvement. Towards these issues, this paper proposes the Collaborative SLAM system based on shared priori maps which includes multi-agent initialization and a new map sharing and reuse mechanism among various active agents in an incremental way. Finally, based on the data set recorded in the actual laboratory environment, the proposed Collaborative SLAM system is evaluated from the perspectives of localization accuracy and computational power consumption. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In view of the problems of high energy consumption, long inventory time and low production efficiency in the production process of traditional aluminum extrusion machine, this paper establishes an efficient two-stage parallel scheduling optimization model based on the integration of flexible job shop scheduling and assembly sequence planning (IFJSS-ASP). On this basis, an evolutionary algorithm combining strong dominance relationship and simple grouping method (SDREA-SGM) is proposed. The algorithm utilizes a two-stage hybrid chromosome encoding and decoding method to establish a rational mapping from the decision space to the solution space. Furthermore, in order to prevent the model from easily falling into local optima, an adaptive intra-class and inter-class pairing selection strategy has been adopted by the algorithm. This enhances global search and improves local search ***, the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm are verified by solving problems of different scales. © 2024 IEEE.

In the field of radar data processing, track interruption seriously affects target tracking, track fusion, and other tasks. The existing track segment association algorithms have low correlation accuracy in dense distributed or long-time interruption situations. To this purpose, a dense multi-target track segment association (DMTTSA) algorithm is proposed. Firstly, two identical networks based on the multi-head probability sparse (ProbSparse) self-attention are used to capture the long-term dependencies of the tracks. Then, the bidirectional quadruplet hard sample loss (BiQuaHard loss) is constructed to make the tracks belonging to the same targets closer and the tracks belonging to the different targets farther. Finally, DMTTSA takes the closest track pairs in the feature space as the associated tracks and divides the unassociated tracks into the birth and dead tracks in chronological order. Some comparative experiments are carried out to show the anti-noise performance of the DMTTSA, as well as the effectiveness of solving the problem of dense multi-target track interruption. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In the context of engineering education, to improve the practical engineering skills of engineering students, the teaching ideas and implementation methods of the curriculum are designed based on Outcome-based Education. A blended teaching approach was used to design the implementation process to achieve the curriculum objectives. In this paper, we explain the process of blended teaching from the two aspects of basic knowledge and competency training. Active learning of basic knowledge is implemented based on a three-step blended teaching model before, after, and during classes. It adopts the project-driven learning approach of the flipped classroom model and cultivates students' ability to solve complex engineering problems through collaborative group and intra-group mutual assessment. Based on the original objective assessment of the curriculum and under the current teaching model, we design a diversified evaluation approach to comprehensively assess the effectiveness of student competence achievement. Practice has shown that project-based inquiry-based teaching methods based on the flipped classroom model can promote learning outcomes for students and increase their interest in learning. It avoids the blind and aimless theoretical learning process of the student and improves the practical ability of the student. The methods and means of instruction of teachers have been further extended, and the ability of students to learn independently has been improved. © 2023 IEEE.

A Seamless Pedestrian Localization system Based on GNSS/IμUWB/MAP Integration

Pedestrian localization has broad applications. However, achieving seamless positioning in complex environments remains a significant challenge due to factors like environmental occlusion and indoor-outdoor transitions. This paper proposes a combined localization framework using Global Navigation Satellite system (GNSS), Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Ultra-Wideband (UWB), and MAP data to address this issue. In the framework, a three-step GNSS localization method is proposed to enhance accuracy and stability by eliminating Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) effects and filtering anomalies. Inertial Navigation system (INS) and Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) models are integrated to improve local precision and stability. UWB, known for its superior localization capabilities, has been integrated into some smartphones and is promising for large-scale indoor applications. The paper presents a gradient descent-based optimal anchor deployment algorithm and localization methods for varying anchor quantities. Additionally, a non-stationary Markov model fuses map data for trajectory prediction and correction. Finally, anomaly detection filtering and low-pass filtering are applied to the corrected trajectories, yielding high accuracy and stability. Experiments on the Honor V20 and iQOO U3 smartphones showed significant improvements compared to the baseline algorithm. Outdoor Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) was reduced by 44.4% (10.83m) for the Honor V20 and 40.0% (10.77m) for the iQOO U3. Additionally, outdoor Standard Deviation (STD) improved by 43.9% (4.80m) and 43.5% (5.50m), respectively. In transitional areas, RMSE improved by 4.61% (10.77m) and 19.6% (4.76m), respectively. Indoor RMSE also showed improvements, with the Honor V20 reducing it by 8.00% (3.79m) and the iQOO U3 by 5.78% (3.91m). © 2025 IEEE.

The existing directional pilot protection (DPP) is susceptible to the line distributed capacitance and the fault resistance, and mostly rely on the current limiting reactance (CLR) at the line ends. To solve the above problems, the line-mode fault component power (LFCP) based DPP is proposed for flexible DC distribution grid (FDCDG). First, the characters of LFCP are discussed under different faults. The theoretical analysis show that the polarity of the LFCP under internal fault is same, while the polarity of the LFCP is opposite under external fault. Then, the LFCP is built as the directional criterion, and the corresponding protection scheme is constructed. The electromagnetic transient simulations of the PSCAD/EMTDC verify that the proposed DPP is less affected by the noise, and has low requirement on the sampling rate, strong engineering applicability. © 2024 IEEE.
