This paper combines the power outage loss caused by load shedding with the optimization problem of load shedding during power shortage, and proposes a load shedding model that seeks the minimum power outage loss under the system's security and economic constraints. The model is a kind of optimal power flow. In order to reduce the complexity of solving the model, this paper adopts an improved linear programming algorithm to solve the model. With the help of Jacobian matrix, the objective function and constraints of the system are linearized and the linear optimal solution in the iterative space of control variables can be found. Through multiple iterations the scheme with the minimum power outage loss is obtained that satisfies various constraints while the total power generation cost of the system is minimized The correctness and superiority of the model and algorithm are verified in the IEEE14-bus system.

The uncertainty and randomness of wind power generation bring hidden trouble to the safe operation of power distribution network. Combining energy storage system with wind power generation can effectively improve the output characteristics of wind power generation. In this paper, considering the investment cost of energy storage and the effect of suppressing the fluctuation of wind power output, the optimization of energy storage capacity under the scenario of wind power grid connection is studied. Firstly, the multi-objective capacity optimization model of the energy storage system is established to minimize the cost of the energy storage system and the variance of wind power system output equipped with energy storage. Then, the multi-objective optimization problem is transformed into a single objective optimization problem by introducing the weight coefficient of the objective function and the particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) is used to solve the problem. Finally, through the test of IEEE-33 bus distribution network system, the relationship curve between energy storage capacity and wind power fluctuation suppression effect is obtained. The results of numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Renewable energy access will be an important trend in the development of the future power grid. In order to analyze the uncertainty brought by wind power access and improve the safety of the grid during steady-state operation, this paper models the uncertainty of wind power. An optimal power flow model considering the risk of power and voltage overruns is established. The model takes the optimal cost of power generation as the goal, takes into account the influence of transformer tap adjustment on system network parameters, and the constraint conditions take into account unit power and safety constraints, it is solved by the primal dual interior point method. The effectiveness of the model and algorithm proposed in this paper is verified by the IEEE14 test system.

With plenty distributed generations accessing to the distribution network, dynamic behavior of the system becomes more complex. However, most of the current condition monitoring products are concentrated on the high voltage grid. It's necessary to extend condition monitoring to low voltage distribution network and provide a new decision support systems for grid operation. This paper presents a panoramic synchronous measurement system (PSMS), which is based on the cloud computing. This system integrates the wide-area measurement system (WAMS) and fault recorder system in high-voltage grid with the wide-area measurement system light (WAMS Light) in low-voltage grid. It constructs a four-tier structure in main station to achieve panoramic monitoring, which covers all voltage level. This method makes full use of the existing data sources and avoids repeated investment of monitoring network rebuilding. For the three kinds of measurement data different in the coding, type and format, this paper describes the common data character with big data perspective to integrate heterogeneous data in HBase. Hadoop is introduced to control the measurements migration, cleaning, integration and cloud computing, facilitating the dispatchers comprehensively capture the actual operation behavior of the monitored power grid.
