Photovoltaic power generation is an important component of sustainable power generation and has been widely utilized. Grid connected inverters are key equipment in photovoltaic integrated systems, which directly affect the stability of the system. In this paper, the transient model of photovoltaic inverter controller based on active support technology is derived. The transient mathematical model and corresponding self-closing loop control strategy are analyzed. Based on the RTDS, a hardware controller semi-physical simulation platform is established to simulate and test photovoltaic inverters under different fault and control methods. Finally, the simulation data obtained from the self-closing loop control method and the hardware control method are compared to verify the stability and reliability of the photovoltaic inverter hardware controller. © 2024 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Highly programmable shape morphing of 4D-printed micro/nanostructures is urgently desired for applications in robotics and intelligent ***,due to the lack of autonomous holistic strategies throughout the target shape input,optimal material distribution generation,and fabrication program output,4D nanoprinting that permits arbitrary shape morphing remains a challenging task for manual *** this study,we report an autonomous inverse encoding strategy to decipher the genetic code for material property distributions that can guide the encoded modeling toward arbitrarily pre-programmed 4D shape *** tuning the laser power of each voxel at the nanoscale,the genetic code can be spatially programmed and controllable shape morphing can be realized through the inverse encoding *** this strategy,the 4D-printed structures can be designed and accurately shift to the target morphing of arbitrarily hand-drawn lines under ***,as a proof-of-concept,a flexible fiber micromanipulator that can approach the target region through pre-programmed shape morphing is autonomously inversely encoded according to the localized spatial *** strategy may contribute to the modeling and arbitrary shape morphing of micro/nanostructures fabricated via 4D nanoprinting,leading to cutting-edge applications in microfluidics,micro-robotics,minimally invasive robotic surgery,and tissue engineering.

This paper investigates the delay-dependent stability of time-delayed load frequency control (LFC) systems with multiple energy structures based on Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technology. Firstly, a multi-area delayed LFC model considering multiple renewable energy structures is established. Then, in order to improve the computation efficiency of stability analysis of large scale LFC systems, a new reconstruction technique for system model is proposed. Next, the improved delay-dependent stability criteria are established based on reconstructed model by using the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, case studies are based on two-area LFC systems. Comparing with the criterion based on the original model without reconstruction, the calculation efficiency of proposed stability criteria has been greatly improved with the cost of small accuracy, and the calculation accuracy is better than the previous methods. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In order to increase the accuracy of turbulence field reconstruction,this paper combines experimental observation and numerical simulation to develop and establish a data assimilation framework,and apply it to the study of S809 low-speed and high-angle airfoil *** method is based on the ensemble transform Kalman filter(ETKF)algorithm,which improves the disturbance strategy of the ensemble members and enhances the richness of the initial members by screening high flow field sensitivity constants,increasing the constant disturbance dimensions and designing a fine disturbance *** results show that the pressure distribution on the airfoil surface after assimilation is closer to the experimental value than that of the standard Spalart-Allmaras(S-A)*** separated vortex estimated by filtering is fuller,and the eddy viscosity field information is more abundant,which is physically consistent with the observation ***,the data assimilation method based on the improved ensemble strategy can more accurately and effectively describe complex turbulence phenomena.

LBM modeling of three-dimensional mixed convection in CZ crystal growth on curvilinear coordinates system

A three-dimensional (3D) thermal lattice Boltzmann model of crystal growth is presented to study the magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) mixed convection in the melt of Czochralski silicon single crystal growth in this paper. In order to solve the problem of lattice Boltzmann method's difficulty in solving the flow of 3D cylindrical cavity, the 3D physical model of crystal growth is transformed from the Cartesian coordinate system to the Curvilinear coordinate system. And the irregular grids in the Cartesian coordinate system are transformed into regular grids in the Curvilinear coordinate system to facilitate the establishment of the Lattice Boltzmann model. Under the above operations, two coupled distribution functions are established to solve the governing equations. Two D3Q19 models are adopted to solve the melt velocity and temperature. And the 3D lattice Boltzmann modeling of crystal growth with cylinder boundary is realized by interpolation in Curvilinear coordinate system. The comparison with the experiment and other references proves that the proposed model and boundary treatment scheme is correct and it proposes a new way for studying the 3D crystal growth or other similar 3D cylindrical cavity simulations. Furthermore, the unstable melt flow for two cases are also simulated in this paper and the critical Reynolds number are also obtained. Results show that the introduction of the transverse magnetic field enhances the stability of the crystal growth system and increases the adjustable range of crystal rotation parameter. The obtained conclusion has an important reference for adjusting the process parameters during the CZ crystal growth. © 2024 The Author(s)

Variation of spatio-temporal distribution of on-road vehicle emissions based on real-time RFID data

High-resolution vehicular emissions inventories are important for managing vehicular pollution and improving urban air quality. This study developed a vehicular emission inventory with high spatio-temporal resolution in the main urban area of Chongqing, based on realtime traffic data from 820 RFID detectors covering 454 roads, and the differences in spatiotemporal emission characteristics between inner and outer districts were analysed. The result showed that the daily vehicular emission intensities of CO, hydrocarbons, PM2.5, PM10,and NO_(x) were 30.24, 3.83, 0.18, 0.20, and 8.65 kg/km per day, respectively, in the study area during 2018. The pollutants emission intensities in inner district were higher than those in outer district. Light passenger cars(LPCs) were the main contributors of all-day CO emissions in the inner and outer districts, from which the contributors of NO_(x) emissions were different. Diesel and natural gas buses were major contributors of daytime NO_(x) emissions in inner districts, accounting for 40.40%, but buses and heavy duty trucks(HDTs) were major contributors in outer districts. At nighttime, due to the lifting of truck restrictions and suspension of buses, HDTs become the main NO_(x) contributor in both inner and outer districts,and its three NO_(x) emission peak hours were found, which are different to the peak hours of total NO_(x) emission by all vehicles. Unlike most other cities, bridges and connecting channels are always emission hotspots due to long-time traffic congestion. This knowledge will help fully understand vehicular emissions characteristics and is useful for policymakers to design precise prevention and control measures.

To address the lack of effective cooperative control of each inertia support resource, the principles of cooperative inertia control in the power system with a high percentage of renewable energies are studied and the problems of cooperative inertia control are summarized. To make the wind turbine generator (WTG) participate in inertia response based on rotor kinetic energy method and the photovoltaic (PV) unit participate in inertia response based on capacitive energy storage method. The inertia response stage enables the energy storage system (ESS) based on sag control to collaborate with the WTG and PV unit for inertia support, and the frequency recovery stage enables ESS based on fuzzy control to improve the frequency response performance. The fuzzy control rules are formulated to propose a virtual inertia cooperative control method for the WTG, PV unit, and ESS. A case study is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper,from the view of a defender,addresses the security problem of cyber-physical systems(CPSs)subject to stealthy false data injection(FDI)attacks that cannot be detected by a residual-based anomaly detector without other defensive *** detect such a class of FDI attacks,a stochastic coding scheme,which codes the sensor measurement with a Gaussian stochastic signal at the sensor side,is proposed to assist an anomaly detector to expose the FDI *** order to ensure the system performance in the normal operational context,a decoder is adopted to decode the coded sensor measurement when received at the controller *** this detection scheme,the residual under the attack can be significantly different from that in the normal situation,and thus trigger an *** design condition of the coding signal covariance is derived to meet the constraints of false alarm rate and attack detection *** minimize the trace of the coding signal covariance,the design problem of the coding signal is converted into a constraint non-convex optimization problem,and an estimation-optimization iteration algorithm is presented to obtain a numerical solution of the coding signal covariance.A numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

This article addresses an adaptive tracking control problem for uncertain high-order fully actuated (HOFA) systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. Under the framework of backstepping, the unknown parameter is estimated and the external disturbance is handled by using adaptive control and H8 technique, respectively. Moreover, the Levant differentiator is employed to reduce the computation burden. Additionally, the boundedness of signals in the closed-loop system is proven using the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is validated through the simulation study. © 2024 IEEE.
